An amazing house. It's beautiful and very private. We will definitely be back. Everything is perfectly designed for you to rest and have fun. Jorge is super friendly and approachable. The house has many amenities so you don't have to worry about anything.

Wow, one of the best places on the Yucatán coast. If you love sunsets, you can be sure these will be the best, whether from the accommodation, the beach, or walking in the dunes. You'll find the most beautiful sunset and very nice views. The accommodation has everything you need, even for cooking and grilling meat. Highly recommended. Go to the supermarket, stock up on everything, and you won't have to leave. I recommend going to the lighthouse to watch the sunset; you can walk there along the beach. You won't regret it!

We loved the house and the location. The view is fantastic! Jorge was a great host; he arranged everything we needed, and everything went smoothly. We would come back any time and hope that the secluded and idyllic location will be preserved for a long time to come.

We loved Jorge's place! It is truly beautiful and has an ocean view that you never tire of looking at. The house has absolutely everything you could need: a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, lounge chairs, a pool, and a very good layout. A HUGE plus is that they allow pets; we went with our two little dogs, and they had an amazing time. It's not easy to find such nice properties that are pet-friendly. We had a minor issue the first night, which we reported to Jorge, and his response was impeccable; he was there first thing the next morning, resolved everything immediately, and was very generous with the compensation. You can tell he's a host who genuinely cares about his guests' experience and goes the extra mile to make sure everything goes smoothly. The rest of the stay was perfect. Chuburná is a destination well worth visiting, and Jorge's house is the ideal place to enjoy it. We will definitely be back! Thank you for everything, Jorge.

What a wonderful place for a relaxing family vacation! The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The access to the beach was ideal and the pool was such a nice evening cool down. The town had so much character and the surrounding natural areas were beautiful. It was a quick trip to Chelum and Progreso and direct routes to Merida. We hope to return!

This was our second time staying at Casa Chubuna Dunas. We usually don’t stay in the same place, but we loved it so much last year that we decided to come back this year. The house is beautiful and so comfortable, and has a very well laid-out floor plan. The balcony and decks are beautifully appointed and offer great views of the ocean. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need to cook all meals and fresh coffee beans and a grinder are provided. I can’t stress enough how comfortable the house is! And the mostly private beach is heaven! The real bonus was having Jorge as the our excellent host! He’s a very kind man and was always responsive. We thought we had broken the blender and blown a fuse in the kitchen - he and an electrician immediately came to the house within an hour to fix the outlet and bring a new blender. Now that is great service! (It turns out everything was fine - we were just lame 😳!) Jorge, you so much for everything! We’ll see you next year! ❤️😊

This is a perfect spot on a lovely beach with very few tourists or other people. The house is well-equipped and the manager extremely responsive to any requests (for extra water etc.) The only downside of this property is the proximity of the house next door and potentially loud guests. But we were lucky and did not need to complain.

I think the best way to describe this place is that we wished we could stay longer. It’s one of those homes you’ll always remember because the time spent there feels truly special. We love cooking, and the house is perfectly equipped with everything you could possibly need. The 360° views over the beach and sunsets are absolutely stunning—especially from the rooftop. It’s an ideal home for a family of 5–6 people. Highly recommended.

Casa Chuburná Dunas was a beautiful place to stay. The home has an awesome setup with a bottom deck that’s perfect for hanging out, eating lunch, lounging by the pool, tanning, and truly enjoying the day. It’s also just steps from the beach, and they provide chairs so you can walk right out, sit down, hop in the water, and soak up the views. Upstairs, the top deck by the main bedrooms was one of our favorite parts. Every morning we’d step out, feel the ocean breeze, and take in the gorgeous scenery. The house is very well equipped and we were super comfortable the whole stay. Jorge was amazing too. He helped us coordinate a trip to Isla Mujeres, and the boat actually picked us up right in front of the house, out on the water. That experience made the whole trip feel extra special and honestly pretty high end. We would absolutely stay here again.

Amazing place pictures don’t justify its beauty. It was peaceful and relaxing. We felt right at home. The best part was that we were able to take our furry babies with us and they loved the place. We definitely recommend this place and would stay again.

Our family of 4 loved staying at Jorge’s place! The location was perfect with beautiful views and a lovely path right to the beach. The home was clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated and well appointed. The beds and lines were comfortable and they provided plenty of towels. The upper deck always had a cool breeze and we loved watching the sun set from there. There is only AC’s in the bedrooms and it was very warm while we were there, but the fans helped and the deck was always lovely and well shaded. One night Jorge arranged for a local woman to make us dinner and it was so delicious and special for our family! It should be noted that the home is very close to a rental next door, so there is minimal outdoor privacy if that home is occupied. Jorge was a wonderful host and we appreciated his communication and friendliness!

My family and I enjoyed Casa Chuburna. Jorge was very helpful and responsive. Casa Chuburna is very private and plenty of beachfront space. Jorge helped coordinate a couple of local dinners to be made at our home which was a real treat.

Jorge was so nice that he apologized for not being able to be at the house to wait for us (something we didn’t expect) The house was really nice and two of the bedrooms have a beautiful view of the beach One con of the house is that it does not have any bedrooms on the first floor and it would be difficult for people with mobility issues. However this may be the case for most properties of this kind Overall great experience

We stayed at Jorge's place with the 6 of us for 5 days. This AirBnB is abaolutely gorgeous. It's like you walked straight into a pinterest picture. The house is super well furnished, the beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is very well equipped and everything was very clean. and the views.. oh my. beautiful! The bedrooms are very spacious and beautifully made and the bathrooms have everything you need and are clean! Jorge was very flexible about an earlier check in, welcomed us at the house and explained all the important things. He also provided us with some local tips for restaurants and made sure to answer all our questions in a very timely manner. We had a great time at this place and we will for sure consider coming back in the future.

I-N-C-R-E-I-B-L-E, there are no other words to describe this paradise. The house has a beautiful view, has everything you need, it is impeccable in terms of cleanliness; the house is even better than the photos. And Jorge has spectacular attention, looking for you to feel at home and at ease. There are no words to describe how beautiful we enjoyed these days with my mom and sister.

Great place to stay if you're in Yucatan and want to enjoy the beach, it's located on one of the most beautiful beaches in Yucatan. Jorge was always attentive to what we needed. Definitely recommended.

Casa Chuburná Dunas was a great change of pace for a Mexico vacation for our family. We were wanting time on the beach without Spring Break crowds and craziness. Jorge’s place was a fantastic choice for what we were looking for. Jorge helped us arrange for a couple local ladies to prepare meals for us while we were there—breakfast and dinner most days. It was a fantastic value for what we paid. They did an amazing job and cleaned the kitchen before leaving. We enjoyed visiting with them while they were there. Read through the other reviews to make sure you are prepared for all that staying in a non-resort brings, but you won’t be disappointed! We would certainly go back!

My husband and I absolutely loved Casa Chuburna Dunas! Jorge was the best communicator: we felt very well taken care of, and he made us feel completely at home. He also arranged a private boat trip to the small swing islands. The boat driver was great, the small inlets were gorgeous, and the ceviche awesome! The house was a very special place. It is beautifully appointed and the views are incredible. You can find so many beautiful shells just walking along the beach. We were awestruck when we crossed the jetty to the left and saw the meeting of the sea and lagoon. This is a place not to be missed: beautiful, private, and wonderful host, and friendly people on town. Thank you Jorge!

We loved our stay at Jorge’s place. We stayed a month and were sad to leave this lovely area. It was so beautiful and peaceful. Check in was easy and the property manager was there to greet us and show us around the home, which was so very helpful. He was very responsive and always so helpful with recommendations. The house everything you need, in the kitchen and for the beach (beach towels and 2 nice beach chairs). It was definitely one of my favorite Airbnbs that I’ve had the pleasure of visiting. This is the place to come and relax! Come to beachcomb (the sea shells on the beach are epic), take in the views, listen to bird song, walk in the sand, swim in the shallow waters, and watch Pelicans fish. Jorge arranged for a fun afternoon excursion to Isla Columpios launching from the marina at the end of the road! We found the food at Los Delphines right in Chuburna fantastic.

We had a very nice time at Jorge's place. The house is very nice and has everything we need. It is a stone's throw from the beach that is perfect to enjoy with children (the sea is very quiet). A plus of the house is that it has a power plant: one of the days the power went out for several hours and we had all the time electricity thanks to the plant. Jorge is very friendly and helped us in everything. We had very good communication and it was very friendly. In short, everything excellent.

Jorge's house is located in a beautiful location,walking distance from the marina and beautiful beach for walking. The beds are super comfy. If the pool would be heated I would give a rating of 11/10.

The house is spectacular, privileged location on the beach, a true paradise. The house has everything you need to enjoy without any slope, super clean and with top quality white. Jorge is a great host, friendly and efficient. The only thing I could suggest is a fan in the kitchen (quite hot when you cook) and a couple on the terrace because it would help with the mosquitoes. But I definitely qualify them with 10 out of 10. We will always be back, thank you Jorge!

It's a dream place! We spent a few days in paradise, the house has everything you need for your stay. The views and sunsets are divine. We enjoy the sea like never before, it is super quiet, transparent and low. The beach is clean and with fine sand although at the entrance many conchitas. We saw some Mantarayas and fish. We had a wonderful time and hope to return!!

Don’t walk, run to book Jorge’s place - it’s one of the nicest Airbnb’s on a beach we have ever staked at. So clean and comfortable!! The deck is amazing and the beach is even better… private and great sand for shell hunting. You won’t be disappointed!!

Amazing home in a breath-taking location if you’re looking to unplug and relax. Definitely stop for groceries on your way from Merida because there isn’t much nearby - we did go to a Willy nearby that had some basic necessities and non-perishable foods mostly, but you’ll want to go to Costco or a big supermarket for meats and produce. Pool wasn’t heated but it’s not very big so with the heat of the day it was warmed to a very comfortable temperature naturally. Beach was stunning and very private. Couldn’t recommend enough

The house is beautiful, with everything you need to spend a few days with an incredible sea and view. The kitchen has all the necessary elements, the beds are comfortable and the sheets are of excellent quality. 2 of the rooms have a view that takes your breath away. One of the things to note is its power generator, when we arrived there was no light in the whole area, but in the house yes, and that is an extremely important point due to the heat, first by the refrigerator and also, by fans and air conditioning. The location is magnificent, because it is in a quiet area, no people, but 10 minutes away is the village of Chuburná, where you find practically everything. Jorge was always attentive. It was definitely a 5 star stay.

We loved our stay at Casa Chuburna Dunas! It was incredibly beautiful and relaxing. A great spot if you want somewhere private and connected to nature. The house was just as pictured, inside and out - we used the outdoor space all day long and enjoyed walking easily out to the beach from the home. The natural setting is gorgeous - beautiful bird watching in the early mornings with coffee on the deck, tranquil waters to swim in during the day, and a cool sea breeze in the afternoon and evening. And the sunsets! We loved watching each night. Inside, the home had all the amenities listed and more - even some children’s books for our small daughter! Jorge was a great host - always responsive, helpful with grocery store and restaurant recommendations, and very friendly! We highly recommend Casa Chuburná Dunas if you’re looking for somewhere quiet, peaceful, and in nature.

This house was seriously unbelievable. We’ve stayed in over 100 Airbnb around the world, never ever have I had a view like this. It’s absolutely stunning. There is one house right next-door, but absolutely nothing on the other side other than beach and the Gulf of Mexico. We walked down to the water multiple times, and swam in the ocean. Then we came back and swam in the pool. We sat out on the deck and just stared, it’s so incredibly beautiful and peaceful. The beds were very comfortable with a ton of pillows. Two of the bedrooms walk right out onto the deck. Plenty of towels, plenty of everything. Washer and dryer worked great! Jorge was so fast at responding! Best beach house ever.

We stayed 3 nights in Chuburna beach and it was very happy days, the house super comfortable, the decoration super cute, with everything you need to spend days of disconnection and rest. The beach is very quiet and private ideal for children. The only thing we couldn't enjoy so much was the pool because it was so cold. Jorge was in communication the whole time, very attentive and kind; he recommended us to someone who will cook us which was a plus.

We had such a wonderful time at Jorge’s beautiful beach oasis! The house was even better in person than pictures. Amenities were perfect and beds super comfortable. I wanted privacy and solitude and that’s exactly what we got but with a Costco only 30 or 40 minutes away!! ;) I would absolutely stay here again!! 5* all the way.

The whole family really enjoyed our stay at Casa Chuburna Dunas! Right on the beach and as secluded as you can get in this area, the house was perfect and very comfortable. It's a modern build and well equipped for a great vacation. Jorge is a proactive host and responds quickly to any questions. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook most of our meals, but we did venture out to some local restaurants, including Cristo Rey and El Triton, just a 5-minute drive away. Both were great! We loved just strolling down the path to beach to hang out, but the most fun we had was visiting Isla Escondida, a group of river palapas where you can hang out for a couple of hours, snorkel, swim, and enjoy some freshly made ceviche and guacamole with a soft drink or a beer. The marina where this trip launches is within walking distance of the house, and the trip is reasonably priced, as well as the food and drinks. Our boys are already asking to go back for another vacation at Casa Chuburna Dunas!

Awesome place! Close to town for restaurants and groceries, but on a basically private beach! Also close to fun activities! The house was *super* comfortable for our group of 8 with plenty of space for sleeping, hanging out, and enjoying ourselves. Jorge was a *great* host--super responsive and helpful!

This is by far the best rental home I have ever visited. There were green plants placed inside, plenty of hangers and the house was beautifully decorated. The kitchen was so well equipped that we wanted for nothing and Our host was so kind and responsive! We look forward to coming back many times! Thanks Jorge!!!

Jorge’s place was fabulous and he was an excellent host. The home is fairly secluded and we felt like we had our own private beach. It was clean, WiFi was good (though cell service could be spotty), and all of Jorge’s recommendations were great. You do need a car to get around easily, as Chuburná is still fairly rustic. We hope we can visit again!

The house is very nice . The location outside of the village is private and more picturesque . Jorge the property manager was the outstanding with his service , very helpful and accommodating.

Jorges place is very lovely! Right on the beach and very quiet despite neighbors being very close. I was there during the heat wave so alternating pool and beach swimming was very welcomed! I hope to return.
