Absolutely stunning apartment! If these walls could talk…. so much history. Comfortable beds, clean and very spacious. Claude and Jose were proactive in reaching out and quick to respond to any questions. The staff at gate made us feel safe and secure but we were only steps to all the action. This apartment is right in the middle of a vibrant atmosphere. The food nearby was incredible, endless options of bars, restaurants, nightlife. I would highly recommend.

A wonderful stay! If you want a private apartment with the amenities of a pool and 24 hour security inside a gorgeous and all the oldest in the city hotel and this is it. I had an excellent experience at this Airbnb in the Walled City of Cartagena. The location is perfect, my family and I felt very secure at all times. The apartment is beautiful, very spacious and comfortable. Claude was very attentive and responded to each of our questions with kindness and promptness. Additionally, on the third level, there is a pool where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the city. I would definitely recommend this place for a memorable stay in Cartagena.

This is an incredibly beautiful and spacious apartment. It totally surpassed our expectations! Claude, the host, was very kind, responsive, and helpful during our stay. We enjoyed the apartment as much as the rooftop pool and bar. Any questions or concerns we had were easily addressed by Claude. We also hired Tania, who cooked all of our breakfasts during our stay. She was fabulous, and the food was so delicious. We will definitely come back to Claude's apartment.

Claude’s place is absolutely stunning! It’s located inside of a hotel but has the privacy of its own kitchen and common areas. The pools and the rooftop bar were a delightful surprise. Claude also recommended that we hire some help with meals and groceries and Tania was an absolute treasure! She prepared typical Colombian dishes when we preferred to eat at home. We certainly will try to stay at Claude’s next time we head to Cartagena!

The apartment is perfect. It is well laid out, the bedrooms are beautiful and very spacious. The whole design is spectacular, the bathrooms, the living room, the kitchen... In addition to being very spacious, the property is very nice, the roof-top, the entrance, the spaces, the patio... One of the most beautiful houses in the historic center of Cartagena. In addition, the location, next to the cathedral, is perfect for discovering the historic center. Claude is a great host, always attentive to anything and willing to give the best recommendations. My experience at Casa Pombo completely exceeded my expectations. The house is absolutely spectacular, with every detail taken care of perfectly. The facilities are beautiful, comfortable and full of history, and the architecture of the space in general makes the experience truly unparalleled. In addition, Angel and Claude were incredibly kind and helpful at all times, making sure we had a flawless stay. Casa Pombo is a private, spacious house with three bedrooms and all the necessary amenities for a complete stay. Although it is a private house, it shares the pools with the hotel: one on the first floor with direct access and another on the rooftop, which can be reached by elevator. I would definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone looking for an unforgettable stay in Cartagena.💛

Claude’s place was incredible. Bedrooms were spacious and clean. The overall vibes of the place were really cool. Unbeatable location, everything was walkable. We were greeted by the property manager at check-in and he made sure that we had everything we needed. They were always available and accommodated all of our requests. When there was confusion between us and the hotel management (separate entity) regarding access to the rooftop pool, I messaged Claude, who responded immediately. Claude then contacted the hotel and resolved it very quickly. Throughout our stay, Claude was always available and very considerate. Could not have asked for a better host, which made our stay at the property that much better.

Wow what a great space! Huge rooms, friendly staff, in the middle of the city, great things to do close by. Only one thing… one of the rooms smelled a bit musty. Not sure why. I only used 2 of the rooms anyway so it didn’t overly bother me. Wi-Fi could have been a little better too but other than those things it was really amazing

We loved this place! The pools in the courtyard and upstairs were our favorite. We had stayed elsewhere in Cartagena and it was very loud so coming to this house was such a peaceful/quiet getaway for us. Highly recommend

This was one of the most gorgeous Airbnbs that I've stayed it. This seemed to be a small boutique hotel/luxury apartments called Casa Pombo. It was centrally located and walking distance to everything you needed in the Walled City. The details to the design is absolutely stunning and the front desk/concierge was very helpful to all our needs. I can't recommend this place enough! I would stay here again.

This apartment was really like having a house inside a house! It was in a perfect and central location in the walled city. The 24 attendants and maid service made it seem like all the best aspects of a hotel stay and a home rental in one. If we needed directions or information we always had someone to give guidance. It felt very safe and secure. We also were able to check in early but if our room was not ready there was someone there to hold onto luggage until we could. So many conveniences! The rooftop pool was fantastic. The amount of room cannot be overstated. We loved it and would stay there again. My only warning would be that it can be a little loud in the downstairs bedrooms at night from the street and that it is not a good home for small children or anyone who has issues with stairs.

The staff members onsite were EXTREMELY polite and helpful. Honestly, we have traveled the world and this was one of the best experiences in an Airbnb home. Just very professional and well done. This was a lovely unique stay in the heart of the old town of Cartagena. Amazing location close to all the restaurants and bars. The rooftop pool and amenities were beautiful. The interior pool area was lovely to sit by. Check in was easy. The only thing is they don’t provide you a key to lock your unit (although we didn’t try to ask), however there is 24 hour security and we did not have any problems at all. Inside is air conditioned but still very humid, unavoidable with the weather in Cartagena! Would recommend.

Claude’s place is an absolute gem in Cartagena. The apartment is as beautiful as it looks on the pictures and the building is magnificent. The staff was great and super honest as well, the apartment was always cleaned. We left an iPhone charger and the staff immediately handed it over to the front desk. I am very great-full with them and is very nice to know you can stay in a house without having to worry about your belongings. The staff also was always welcoming and helped us a lot getting taxis or recommending beautiful places giving us directions etc. The building has a beautiful roof top and a pool as well. There is an additional pool right by the apartment basically private for your use. The location is also great, waking distance to everywhere within the ciudad amurallada. Claude’s place is a must if you want to find a great place in Cartagena. Highly recommended

A spectacular place in Cartagena. The apartment is very spacious, air conditioning and the WiFi super. Around the site, many places to shop or eat. For small children, I don't recommend the place because of the open stairs. The house is nicer than the pictures. And the people were really cool - our flight was on hold for 4 hours, and they were always at the airport to pick us up, and they had a 5-star meal ready for us. Although there are spaces shared with the other apts (pool, rooms), there was no inconvenience because the house is very spacious, in addition to being historic. Finally, very special Julio Cesar, gave us recommendations on where to go out, eat, and explained the history of the house.

It's a great place with tons of space and a great location right in the center of town. The upstairs pool is very nice and we liked having the hotel staff available 24/7. Definitely recommend it.

Julio was amazing. Claude was very helpful too for all precheckin questions. Biggest bonus to this house is great staff. This made the stay special knowing we had their help with anything we needed. They make breakfast, coordinate trips, taxis, laundry, etc… I didn’t know when booking that there were 4 or 5 rentals total within the 1 big property, so it took a little bit of privacy away having a shared pool, and didn’t have access to the jacuzzi which would’ve been nice. But outside of that, everything was great. The house is spectacular and has a lot of character

The stay was unbelievable in a positive way. I could not have asked for anything more. There is onsite staff there 24/7 which makes you feel really safe. They can make great recommendations on things to do and places to go eat. On top of that, Claude is super responsive and follows up to see if your stay is going. Location: you are in the heart of the city. You walk outside your door and everything you need is right in front of you. The moment that I checked out, I already knew that I’ll be back at this same Airbnb.

This apartment is in an excellent location. Great breakfast and other meals can be found very close by. The layout is unusual but works well. We enjoyed hanging out by the roof top pool both during the day and at night. Julio the day time concierge provided excellent service and was very happy to arrange reservations at restaurants, boat trips etc. overall it’s a special place and definitely worth trying.

This was undoubtedly the nicest air bnb apartments my friends and I have ever stayed in! Wonderfully grand space; better than the photos! The guest house staff are also amazingly helpful ..eager to help out in any possible way. Roof top pool is not to be missed… watching shooting stars from there was a memorable experience. Location is also very central to everything Cartagena has to offer. Highly recommended …. And We plan to be back soon!

All I have to say is AMAZING, the staff was great always there and very knowledgeable. The apartment we had was the 3 bedroom, I am honestly lost for words for how beautiful it was, and the location was perfect. Definitely try the fried fish made by one of the housekeeping ladies. From 1-10 I’ll give it a 20 lol honestly. From The hospitality to the location everything was perfect. Thank you Claude. Will definitely be back.

We loved Casa Pombo. Such a beautiful location in the heart of the walled city. The rooftop pool has wonderful views of the cathedral and sunset. The ground floor pool is great for cooling off after dark as well. You do share the pools with other guests, but there’s only a few other units in the building and we had no issues. The staff is super helpful. We would definitely return!

A DREAM. These are the words i would use to describe Casa Pombo and their staff. The house itself makes you feel you are living a Cartagenean fantasy. This is a true historical mansion. The location can not be more perfect. It is extremely spacious and beyond comfortable. The staff .. Edgardo and Julio are awesome. They did EVERYTHING to accommodate our requests and make sure we were pleased and happy. Always always willing to help and answer any inquiries with a smile. The cleaning lady made sure everything was spotless every single day. Breakfast was delicious and everything you need is at the tip of your fingers. Best nightlife and restaurants only a few blocks away. Beautiful views within the house itself and outside from the balconies on the top floors. Thank you Claude for keeping the house true to itself and providing a real Cartagenean experience. Words can’t express how happy i am to have stayed at Casa Pombo. I am so sad i had to go, but i know for a fact, that i will return. Thank you Casa Pombo.

If you are a light sleeper i would recommend the upstairs bedrooms as our room was located right on the street side. We could hear people singing and laughing and horses going by which was great but may be tough if you are a light sleeper.

A must-stay in the dreamy walled city of Cartagena. Perfectly located, well maintained, excellent service. Staying in a castle was surreal, I felt like I was in a fairy tale.

The space was absolutely beautiful and incredibly spacious for our group of 5. The location could not be better, and the staff was wonderful. They arranged for massages and covid tests, and they were always responsive and kind. I would highly recommend Claude's apartment for your visit to Cartagena. One thing to note - this is inside of a hotel/guest house, so the pools are shared, but we didn't run into our neighbors much, so it felt like a private getaway!

Cannot recommend enough! Not only is the place gorgeous but the staff (Julio, Edgardo and others) was so helpful! They provided recommendations for dinner and dancing. The accommodations were comfortable, spacious and clean. The location is superb, it’s actually really cool, you can open up the windows in your room and see right out into the street! We will definitely come back!

Where do I begin, this is an wonderful home. Walking into this place is breathtaking!! The pools & waterfall located at the entrance of the house are amazing. The apartment is as pictured. Such a great historic building. The concierge was so helpful and assisted us in anything we needed. Claude was only a phone call away we had some trouble at the airport and he was able to assist us quickly. I truly cannot express how happy we were at Casa Pombo and most importantly thanks to the amazing service provided by Claude (while booking) and Julio (concierge) during our stay! The location for this property is prime and in El Centro. Everything we did was within 4-5 blocks walking. Julio literally coordinated every aspect of our trip. We had to do NOTHING. He coordinated transportation and excursions/activities, recommend restaurants and just walked us through all the dos and donts to make sure we stayed safe. My friends and I cannot stop talking about the level of service we received during our stay. The air b n b itself was beautiful, clean, spacious and it exceeded our expectations. The pools are open 24/7. HIGHLY recommend this property!!
