My overall experience booking with Santiago was less than optimal. We were victims of a bait and switch It started out great because he was very responsive, and the resort was in the best location and looked beautiful. My husband and I along with our other married friends felt as though we were getting the best value for our week long Thanksgiving vacation as the listing shows a 2-bedroom suite. We were super excited. Unfortunately, it began to be a huge hassle when we attempted to confirm our reservation with Santiago. The resort didn't have the 2-bedroom suite as he had advertised. But we really wanted to stay at the resort so we were patient as he figured out what the resort could offer us. Next, we were offered to stay in 1-King sized bedrooms with adjoining doors so we could still have separate bedrooms but still stay close with our friends. It would cost an additional $50/night but we accepted. This didn't end up working out either. Upon trying to confirm the reservation, the resort told him that there wasn't availability for the entire week. So we can either change rooms mid way through our 7 days or we can book two queen suite back at the original price of $400/night. We were a little disappointed at the juggling around especially as the days for closer and closer to our trip, but were relived that we got it all sorted out and back to the original listing and price point of $400/night. The surprises didn't stop there. Our friends arrived early and ended up checking in first. Upon our arrival, we realized at our check in, we had only ONE room with two queen beds! We were all shocked, including the resort employee who was walking us up to help us check into our room. We paid the same price of the advertised 2-bedroom suite as a 1-bedroom. And upon my communication with Santiago via the Airbnb app, he was defensive and basically said I knew what I was reserving, even though he's the owner of the listing and knew exactly what he was reserving us for. There was NO way the four of us could stay in one room, we are grown adults. Thankfully the resort was kind enough to quickly find us a secondary room, next to our friends, and was able to give us 50% to reduce the cost. I don't recommend reserving with Santiago, but instead go directly with Cabo Villas.

Santiago was extremely attentive and communicative! Views were ridiculous & location was so very convenient We had an amazing time.
