The penthouse as a whole is lovely. The facilities are very adequate. The two swimming pools, lounges, chairs, umbrellas and large towels were delightful and much appreciated, especially given the 90-100 degree daily temperatures that persisted during our seven-day June stay. The beach is very picturesque, but the hot sand will burn your barefeet and the surf break is too close to shore to enjoy swimming or more than shallow wading. The views from the multiple, spacious balconies off the living room and bedrooms are very appealing. Unfortunately, since the hot sun shines directly on all the balconies from 7am into mid-afternoon, they are all impossible to enjoy for more than 15 minutes. A couple of large umbrellas would be a significant improvement.

This was a perfect place for our family. We hope to come back soon!

The Mykonos is a fantastic place to stay, and Carlene’s place was great. Beautiful architecture and amenities- the pool was warm and peaceful, not a lot of people, and the beach is right off the property. Omar was right there to greet us on site, and was incredibly helpful to make sure that we were set up properly. We had babies with us, and felt that they were safe around the home- the balcony was not an issue, had screen doors so we could keep the outdoor doors open, and as long as we blocked the stairs, they were ok crawling around. No issues to report, we had a fantastic time!

We stayed at Las Olas in April for the last few days of Spring Break. I was a little worried about the road noise mentioned in the TripAdvisor reviews - however, it wasn’t an issue at all! We really didn’t even notice it and no one in our group mentioned it. The unit was spotless when we checked in and wel maintained, and the building felt safe and secure. If your goal Is to stay on the beach, I don’t think you can find a condo closer to the water. We loved the deck and the view was as advertised. Our boys rented surf boards from the shop nextdoor and we had a nice breakfast at Zippers. We were also there for the art walk in San Jose del Cabo (which I think happens every Thursday) It is worth the trip into town. We didn’t rent a car while we were in Cabo - uber and taxis were easy to find and we found them efficient for what we needed . There are several great grocery stores nearby and a Costco in Cabo. We had a great trip!

Carlene’s is excellent host…I’m definitely coming back. Absolutely, beautifully place and views. This is definitely a place you want to stay at.

We have stayed in Carlene’s many times and have always had the best time. This location is perfect, especially for anyone who loves to surf.

Our group of four stayed very comfortably at this location. The space has lots of room and everything to make your stay feel like at home. The balconies had great views of the water and pool. The condo was right on the beach, making it easy to play in the sand and water each day. Would certainly recommend this location to others!

This unit at Las Olas is fantastic! A beautiful view, comfortable furniture and beds, easy beach access, great pool. We lived on the outdoor sofa - so comfortable! Carlene was super responsive to all our questions and Omar was very welcoming. We arrived to cold beer, salsa and guacamole in the fridge - a very welcome treat at the end of our travel day. There are 2 great restaurants in quick walking distance on the beach and a grocery store a 3 minute drive away. Las Olas is a well-maintained, quiet property. We were there during a peak travel time but could always get a lounge chair at the pool. Surfing right out front can’t be beat. We’d definitely return to Carlene’s place.

A beautiful place, and everything was excellent. I recommend it 100%.

The unit was clean and has unbelievable views of the ocean and is a dream location for surfing. The only "thing" that we don't really pick up from the pictures was how close it was to the highway. So we were a little nervous about road noise when we arrived, but it was never really a factor. The only noise we heard was waves/surf when we went to sleep. Watching the sunrise there is pretty epic!

This space was everything beautiful. The view was amazing. Carlene was so kind and helpful! The home has absolutely everything! We will be back!

Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay at Carlene's condo! The condo is very spacious so we had lots of room and we loved being on the top floor with many balconies to take in the gorgeous view of the ocean. We also enjoyed the pools and jacuzzi. The grounds were clean and there were plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas. We even watched whales jumping and splashing in the ocean while sitting by the pool! We were in Cabo for a wedding so we did not do any serious cooking in the condo. The kitchen did appear to be well stocked with cooking supplies. We walked to Zippers for lunch one day and the food was very good. There are several supermarkets just a 5-10 minute Uber ride away which was very convenient. La Comer was one of the best supermarkets I've ever been in! Carlene was super quick to respond to all of my questions leading up to our stay and during our stay! She connected us with her airport transportation service and they were waiting for us with a sign upon exiting the airport.

Great condo. Perfect for families or a few couples. Everything was as described. Kitchen was very well stocked. Have stayed at Mykonos before and rented from Carlene before. Both never disappoint. She is a wonderful host and always responds to any inquiries quickly.
