Beautiful location and weather! Recommend you come before August due to seaweed. Lots to do: Isla Mujeres, Isla Holbox, and Cousumel!! The 5th street strip has great restaurants and lots to see.. The house has a nice pool and jacuzzi.. with ocean view!

The stay was pleasant, except for the sargassum that prevented us from enjoying the beach, which is what we value. One drawback was not being able to do the laundry because the dryer was broken, and they didn't fix it in 7 days. We are frequent visitors to Playacar and we will definitely return. I always look for houses managed by Mercedes because of the service provided by both her and her team.

Beautiful place, with everything you need to spend a few days relaxing with the family. The view from the terrace is beautiful. We felt right at home. Thank you for all your attention. We hope to return soon.

The backyard is truly the highlight of the home, the pool is wonderful, and the views are absolutely breathtaking. The house itself matches the photos: spacious, comfortable, and overall pleasant, though it is beginning to show some signs of aging. One disappointing aspect was the checkout experience. Since we were only two adults and used just one room, we requested a late checkout, but it was not accommodated. Checkout was strictly enforced at 10:00 a.m., and they rang the bell right at 10:00. Even if the next guests arrived promptly at 3:00 p.m., there would have been more than enough time to clean the space had we stayed until noon. Considering the high cost of the stay, it felt inflexible, especially since we then had to spend the day in town with our suitcases until our hotel checkâin time (the home wasnât available for our final night in Mexico).

Thank you very much for the review. Usually, when we don't have check-in on the property, guests are allowed to stay without charge until 12 PM. Unfortunately, in this case, it wasn't possible. The listing states that the checkout time is 10 AM, and at no point before making the reservation was I asked if a later checkout was possible. We always try to be flexible whenever we can.

I loved the place. It's a quiet and peaceful place to disconnect and close to everything in case you want to eat or go for a walk. A family atmosphere, although we had to deal with the sargassum when walking. We found a place with a little less, but everything else was incredible. The house was very clean and had a very nice view đ¤

We had a great time. House was very safe, security presence was excellent. Host was very responsive and helpful. Pool was well kept. Beach had a lot of seaweed, but thatâs everywhere now. They manage it. Walk was a little more than expected to get to shops, restaurants, and bars but taxis were easy. It is walkable, but itâs just a long-ish walk and hot. Could walk to the Cozumel ferry, which was nice. Had a wonderful time.

We had a wonderful week in Playacar, and Mercedes's rental deserves a lot of credit for that. The interior was much more spacious than it looks in the pictures, and the patio and pool space was terrific (it was especially useful given the Sargassum situation in July). The space was clean and very family friendly, with Mercedes making a crib and high-chair available for our young son. I highly recommend this listing for families or groups of friends looking to stay in the Playa del Carmen area.

We stayed a few days with our family and the house was great! Fully equipped like if it was your house, taxiâs services to go out are available, reliable and fast! The host is very responsible and the house is right in front of the beach. Highly recommended and would stay again!

If you come to Playa del Carmen, you will definitely not find a property in better condition than Casa Grande, with hosts who are so attentive to detail. I've been on this platform for years and it's my best experience. Congratulations, Marcelo and Mercedes. Thank you for your attention.

We had a lovely time and the house was clean and comfortable. Check in and check out were easy. We loved the pool and the house came with all of the things we needed - laundry detergent and spices, shampoo and soapâŚand drinking water. Essentials! Mercedes was easy to communicate with and the cleaning that was included in our stay was perfect.
