From the moment we arrived, Silvia treated us like family. She is incredibly warm, welcoming and helpful, and her villa is absolutely stunning. Every detail is beautiful and thoughtfully done—it truly felt like our own little piece of paradise for the week. The breakfasts are an absolute MUST—some of our favorite mornings were spent enjoying breakfast at the villa while watching the wildlife around us. The pool is to die for, and the monkeys are the housemates you never knew you needed! 🐒 We loved watching them from the pool and around the property throughout our stay. The community also felt incredibly safe. The villa itself is perfection, and Hacienda Pinilla was such a wonderful home base for our family. We highly recommend renting a golf cart for bopping around Hacienda Pinilla and using Denis for transportation, excursions and exploring beyond the property. It made everything so easy. This was our family’s first trip to Costa Rica, but it absolutely will not be our last.

She personally greeted us on arrival, shared valuable local tips, and was always available whenever we needed anything. The villa is absolutely breathtaking, and the photos truly do not do it justice. It is even more beautiful, spacious, and well-equipped in person. Every detail has been carefully thought out, offering all the comfort and services of a five-star hotel in the privacy of a home. Silvia also connected us with Denis, and that recommendation transformed our vacation. Denis went above and beyond every day, helping with tours, restaurants, groceries, transportation, and even special family needs. His kindness, knowledge, and sense of humor made him much more than a driver; he became a friend. Thanks to Silvia and Denis, our family created memories we will cherish forever. The house is spectacular, quiet, and very far from the noise. You sleep very well. I loved the pool areas. I would definitely return.

Silvia did exceptionally well as a host. She not only provided consistent support, but gave us a great list of activities and food places to go. She greeted us personally even though we experienced delays in our arrival. We would recommend her location and wished we had stayed longer. Would totally recommend it.

The house is incredible! The pictures don’t do it justice. We took the wrong roads getting there and I was bumpy but once you figure out where you are the experience getting around is terrific. Silvia is so lovely and Gaby maintains the property very well.

We loved our time in Costa Rica! Silvia’s home is absolutely beautiful and really made the trip. Silvia was very responsive and a big help with any questions we had. I highly recommend including breakfast each morning with your stay. It’s yummy and gabby was so accommodating. We rented golf carts so that we could go back and forth to the beach club. We had a great stay at Silvia’s home. She was kind, responsive, helpful, and very communicative, quickly addressing any issues and sharing local recommendations. The house is modern, spacious, and very well-equipped, with a pool that was a highlight for our group. It’s in a safe, gated community, just a short 10-minute walk to the beach—where we even spotted iguanas and monkeys. Overall, a perfect home base for a relaxing Costa Rica getaway with friends. We’d definitely stay here again!
