We always welcome constructive feedback and strive to improve. However, in this case your comments contain significant exaggerations and do not fairly represent either the property or the efforts we made during your stay. It is disappointing to receive such a negative review given the circumstances. Out of goodwill and to ensure you felt heard, we processed and you confirmed receiving a 50% refund on an already discounted stay. In the end, you paid just $36 for a clean, air-conditioned room in the very center of town, steps from the beach, with two separate WiFi services and our staff on hand throughout. Despite this, you have chosen to leave a review that does not accurately reflect the property or the service we provided. Our team responded to your messages promptly, including late into the night and again first thing the next morning and throughout your stay and beyond checkout. Check-in instructions were sent in advance, and when you experienced difficulty, we followed up to ensure you entered smoothly. Regarding WiFi, we provide two separate internet services. One experienced an outage (something outside of our control, and reported to the provider), while the second was working throughout your stay. Many guests rely on it daily without issue, so stating there was “NO WiFi” is inaccurate. The on-site restaurant is valued by most of our guests as a convenience, with a dedicated pathway to access rooms without needing to pass through the dining area. Our staff are always available to help with luggage if needed. With the sink, we immediately offered to send maintenance to fix the issue (which simply required tightening the faucet). You declined, replying “it’s not a big issue, I’m just sharing so you know.” We do not generally respond to reviews, as we genuinely respect every guest’s right to share their experience. However, in this case, we felt it important to clarify because the review is simply not true.
