Very nice

This house will remain in my brain for its amazing character and beauty. The architecture was well thought out and I appreciate it fully. The host did everything needed to feel supported in anything we did. I will never forget it. The area is expensive to get around by taxi and too secluded to drive a rental car. But it’s worth it which ever way you decide. Just commit and book this house because I want people to come here so they could stay in business, then I could come back. Thank you for such a thoughtful house

Beautiful place to stay if you want a secluded, peaceful vacation away from city life and noise. The view was great, the house was accommodating, definitely one of those stay and cook deals. The few restaurants in San Juanillo were great, especially cocobolo, right on the beach. Good empanadas at a food truck just off of the main road into San Juanillo. Would recommend shopping at the San Juanillo super market and the whole food market rather than anywhere else a shuttle would take you if you shuttle from the airport. We rented a car so we could explore, definitely worth it for a day excursion that doesn’t blow the bank. Roads are ROUGH and definitely use Waze. If you want to explore all of CR, do not stay in one place but if you want a nice peaceful retreat to relax and recalibrate and fall asleep to the sounds of nature, this is the place for you. The pool was perfect, the weather was perfect, the stay was exactly what we needed

First of all, I would like to express that the villa itself was beautiful, and we had a great time overall. However, we did have a couple of issues. For about three to four days, the shower water was cold, which was quite inconvenient. Additionally, the TV in one of the primary bedrooms did not work during our stay. The WiFi connection was great. I’m Aside from these issues, everything else went as planned, and we truly enjoyed our accommodations. Thank you for providing such a lovely space for us to stay in.

The house has amazing views overlooking the jungle and a glimpse of the ocean. Visiting as a family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers, we used the pool everyday to hang out and relax after a day of exploring the beautiful surrounding area. The rooms are spacious, the kitchen is fully stocked and the other outside areas are fantastic. The wildlife that visited the property while we were there was an awesome bonus as well. We saw howler monkeys, coati, a gray fox, a ton of different bird species, butterflies and other insects. Overall the week was a huge hit and we had an absolute blast!

Nice place! Finding the area near the home was relatively easy however once with in the guarded area it was not clear which location. However, the security guard was helpful in locating the home. The house itself was as described with all the amenities and views as promised! Few extras not listed that were a nice surprise - mango tree and showers with private views! There were a few issues that could have made the stay a little better- select light fixtures not working, half of the pool lights out and the fountain in the front only worked the first and third day. One concern to note, on our last day we found two locals hanging out by the BBQ area with their lunch and plugs to charge their phone. I believe they didn’t think anyone was there but also alarming as it supposed to be a secure area with 24hr security. We notified the management company but never received a response. Hoping that was an isolated incident and they are aware for the next guests. Otherwise as described

The Villa is Amazing! The roads are bumpy and quite fun to navigate, and lighting is minimal at night. With good cell phone coverage, we had no trouble finding our way at any time. We arrived at night, and checking in was a breeze. The villa was clean and ready. The house manager, Anne, was extremely responsive, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. Unfortunately, half the pool lights were not working, and the patio lights for each master bedroom were also out. The lighting significantly impacts the villa's overall vibe, and the listing's images beautifully showcase the home with them. If you're like us, this was a prime reason for our booking. Travel is slow, but everything you need is relatively close. Nosara and Playa Guiones offer beaches, restaurants, boutiques, and surfing and yoga! San Juanillo is a small beach that is swimmable during high tide, but it is truly stunning to walk the rocks and take in the incredible views. Overall, we would not hesitate to stay here again!
