This is a perfect spot for a solo surf trip to Playa Grande. Walking distance from some great waves. The place had everything I needed and was super clean/comfortable. Patrick was the friendliest host I’ve had on AirBnB. Highly recommend!

A very nice place, quite quiet and private. Patrick welcomed us in a very friendly and respectful manner. The place is super close to the beach, and there are even quite a few activities available. Thank you for everything; we really enjoyed the place.

We had three wonderful days at this Airbnb. The setting is lovely, just five minutes from the beach, surrounded by nature, and you can even spot howler monkeys and various birds! We also appreciated Patrick's tips for the surrounding area and the rest of our trip. The description is accurate: there are a few insects, but if you keep food in the fridge (dry and wet), everything is fine. A simple and successful stay 🙂

Patrick's place is perfect if you are like me and going to a variety of places in the area. It's a great base to start, visit a variety of areas, and to figure out what you like. The space is exactly as described and Patrick is an extremely responsive and helpful host. Patrick even helped resolve an issue I had with a local vendor. I would definitely stay again.

I had a great time at Patrick's place. He was very welcoming, and full of suggestions for activities in the surroundings. The accommodation was nice, clean, and comfortable. However, I did not realize when booking that it was in a somewhat busy vacation residence. I happened to hear some vehicle noises in the morning (and construction). But I only spent a short time at the accommodation, whose location was perfect for going to the beaches and surrounding villages. The surrounding area is absolutely beautiful.

Patrick was an incredible host. He was always attentive and consistently answered my questions in detail. The place was exactly as described: clean, relaxing, and very close to the beach. You truly feel like you’re sleeping in the jungle, with birds and nature all around. It’s incredibly peaceful, and it helped me a lot to slow down and gather my thoughts. The beach is wonderful, the water is nice, and the sunsets are absolutely amazing. There’s also a small kitchen where you can cook, which made the stay even more comfortable. Everything about this place was great. A special thank you to Patrick for making my stay so enjoyable: he was always helpful, present when needed, and at the same time very respectful of my space. I highly recommend this place and would happily stay here again.

Place was exactly what I needed at the right price

This container home in Playa Grande is a beautiful little space that really impressed us. It’s simple, functional, and thoughtfully designed — but the true magic is in the setting. The land still feels wild and untouched, full of trees and life. I love that the host didn’t feel the need to clear it all out just to build (I wish more builders / homeowners treated their land with such reverence). Because of that, the property is teeming with wildlife, including fireflies at night — it’s peaceful, quiet, and feels like a retreat into nature. The nice hot shower was a welcome luxury after long beach days, and the location couldn’t be better — just a short walk to excellent surf and some great cafes. You’re close to the action, but it still feels private and serene. We highly recommend this spot for anyone wanting to enjoy Playa Grande while staying close to nature. We really enjoyed our little place by the sea! This little studio had been made out of half a shipping container with an outside patio for dining. If you are 1-2 people looking for a small, safe, comfortable place to surf and go to the beach, this is great. If you are looking for a place that will have space to lounge around for some time inside, this might not be what you are looking for. 8 minute walk to the beach. Amazing Great host. Amazing. Great over all experience.

Great value for Playa Grande. Patrick was a very thoughtful and helpful host. He kindly allowed us a late check out and offered us a ride to help us carry our things to our next accommodation nearby. The space is small but efficiently laid out. We had everything we needed to cook breakfast.
