It’s like being dropped right into the heart of the jungle 🐒 The setting is incredibly peaceful and private, perfect if you want to disconnect and just enjoy nature. At night, you can hear howler monkeys echoing through the trees, which honestly made the whole experience unforgettable. And if you’re lucky like I was, you might even spot them during your stay. The Airbnb has all the essentials (even a washing machine, which was a huge plus), making it comfortable without taking away from the raw, natural experience. It’s the kind of place that feels simple, authentic, and special all at once. Definitely a unique stay I’d recommend if you’re looking for something off the beaten path.

Tony home we stayed for a night, and Tony has been very prompt with communication. The place was easy to find and he came right when we reached to say hello and throughout before our arrival he was very prompt to reply our queries. Stay was very peaceful, lots of birds sound. Thank you Tony for being so friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay!!

Tony was the best AIRBNB host we’ve have ever had. He was extremely responsive, and easy to talk too. He was helpful and gave us PERFECT local recommendations. Place wasn’t fancy, but such a great host made it a perfect place to stay.

Excellent private location surrounded by nature.

Tony's chalet made for such a special experience during our first visit to Guanacaste. We saw (and heard) howler monkeys in the tree just out front, including one with a baby on her back. The location was just between Santa Cruz and Tamarindo making it very convenient to see how locals live and then see the beaches. Tony was super responsive and hospitable. The highlight of our trip was having him lead us on an early morning hike through and up the rock faces just beyond the property. Our sons (6 and 8 yo) had so much fun and were proud that they finished it!

All-wood accommodation, built by Tony himself, really very pleasant, in a natural and peaceful environment. As soon as we arrived the monkeys came to say hello! Tony is very helpful, he reacts very quickly to our requests and he kindly agreed to let us in a little early, while he was still cleaning. You can feel that he cares about everything going smoothly for his tenants. I recommend!!!

Tony is an excellent host. He provided clear, easy ti follow directions to the house and was there to greet us upon arrival. He was always quick to answer our questions. He even provided food for our dogs, which was such a thoughtful touch. We would definitely stay here again!

It was the best Airbnb yet. Quiet location, forest with animals around. The house is well equipped, very cozy. I highly recommend. Tony is very nice, communicative 😊
