(12 girls’ trip) Truly exceptional! Lorena’s beautiful historic home seamlessly blends modern upgrades with timeless charm. The design is absolutely stunning; her interior styling is unmatched. The house is expansive across three floors and features a gorgeous interior courtyard and a magical rooftop that quickly became our favorite place to unwind. The home is located in a safe, quiet neighborhood, with a great coffee shop nearby. It's easily walkable to some of the most popular destinations in San Miguel. The home also has a modern, up-to-date security system, which made us feel completely at ease. And then there’s Lorena—hands down the BEST host I’ve ever had in my life, and I am not just saying that! She was incredibly responsive, accommodated every need, shared thoughtful recommendations, and truly went above and beyond for us.

Great location, great home! We were very comfortable, and communication with Lorena is very easy. The house is impeccable and beautiful.

Beautiful place, perfect location and great hospitality

We had an amazing stay at Lorena's beautiful home - an ideal location to easily walk the city, plenty of space for our group of ten with private bathrooms off every bedroom, the most gorgeous rooftop to enjoy sunset happy hours, responsive and helpful communication from Lorena for everything we needed. She met us at the house for arrival and had the kitchen stocked with our requested groceries (and wine!) - so helpful and thoughtful, as was the daily housekeeping service. Would stay here again in a heartbeat and can't wait to come back to San Miguel.

Hard to encapsulate our magical experience at Casa Lorena in 1000 characters. Our family enjoyed a fantastic trip to SMA and the house was perfect. Beautiful, stunning views, perfect location, super clean with all the amenities. We hired a cook and she had all she needed. Lorena is a terrific host and gave us many helpful suggestions. You can’t beat the location. Central Plaza, artisan market and best coffee in SMA all in walking distance. Thank You Lorena for a trip our family will remember forever.

We loved it! The house is great! It’s actually bigger in real life, several areas to socialize, all rooms very comfortable with private bathroom each. House is very quiet and warm! (Thinking San Miguel can get chilly) It’s 2 block away from the most tourist places, so perfect. You are 6 min away walking but on a great quiet area if you need a break. A super plus: Lorena recomendad someone that came and made breakfast every day! The house keeper came by everyday to check on things, restock and make the beds!

This place is absolutely stunning! Wonderful location that feels far enough from city center (everything is a 5 minute walk, max)- that it is quiet. It was spotless (extremely clean!) with service coming daily at 9AM. The breakfast is a MUST and was a highlight of the trip- I regretted not having that daily with the ladies of the house! They were fabulous. Lorena is very communicative, and helpful with all requests. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

We were absolute blown away with the house and the location could not have been better (we could walk everywhere). Lorena was super helpful and responsive with recommendations and even helped set up in house massages. We are already talking about our next trip back and would love to stay at this house again.

Loved the house. Walkable to all sites, restaurants, etc. Great for our group of 7 and plenty of room to spare. Amazing rooftop deck with views of the cathedral and the city.

Highly recommend staying in Lorena’s beautiful home. She is very responsive. Cecy the housekeeper was wonderful! She came by every morning. Not that we needed clean towels every morning but we had them! House was always nice and clean. The location was perfect. Walking distance to the center of San Miguel. Next time we are in San Miguel we will definitely be back to Lorena’s home. Thank you Lorena!

Lorena’s home was the perfect setting for me and my friends to celebrate our birthdays. From the moment we walked through the door we were delighted with the views and the beautiful spaces! We loved the rooftop area in the afternoons! The large dining area was perfect for meals and evening games. There were lots of places to lounge and hang out. I would go back again in a heartbeat! Lorena is a responsive and super friendly host!!

Lorena was absolutely an amazing host and resource during our stay, from arranging drivers, shopping, coffee shops and so much more. She welcomed us as we arrived and answered any questions and was available during our stay if we ever had any questions...so good! Excellent location, convinenent to so many of San Miguels amazing sights, we would definitely AIRBNB this property again next time we are in San Miguel!

This is hands down the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in! It far exceeded my already high expectations. Lorena is so kind, and I really enjoyed having her as a host. Her property is absolutely beautiful and super spacious. As a group of 10 (all girls) we felt very safe, and it was convenient walking distance from great restaurants, markets, and the Parroquia. I’m dying to stay here again soon!

Lorena’s place was the perfect place for our New Years friends/family trip! We were able to walk everywhere and visit shops, restaurants, churches and historic buildings. The house was comfortable for 3 families of 4. And Lorena’s recommended for a dinner in the home and transportation were amazing! Will definitely stay here on our revisit to San Miguel!

This house is an absolute dream. The photos do not do it justice - it is quite simply a magical retreat in the heart of San Miguel de Allende. Without a doubt the best airbnb experience we have had from the responsiveness of Lorena to the immaculate accommodations which comfortably hosted 10 adults and 2 toddlers- will definitely stay with Lorena the next time we visit the city. We were a group of 10. Lorena's house is beautiful and exactly as the pictures described. She had coffee and bottled water for us. She responded to all our questions immediately. The house is in walking distance to everything!! with small shops, restaurants, convenience and liquor stores all close by. There are 2 rooftop decks, both gorgeous, but the highest deck is amazing. Could spend the whole time there!! Maid service everyday & grocery delivery available too. In the kitchen there is a TV screen showing all the security cameras, but we felt 100% safe. I would highly recommend this house. If I had to give any constructive feedback, it would be there is minimal lighting especially in the bathrooms. Also, the queen bedroom off the inner courtyard is really tiny. One couple had to split up.

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The host was incredibly responsive and sweet, making us feel right at home. The space exceeded our expectations, and the daily cleaning service was a lovely surprise. We brought in a private chef, and the host was very accommodating about it, adding a special touch to our stay. The two rooftop areas offered stunning views and a great vibe, especially with champagne in hand. The ambient lighting was beautiful, but it did get quite dark at night. As a group of girls, we wished for more mirrors and better lighting for getting ready, but we managed. One minor drawback was the couch in the king bedroom—it’s not ideal for sleeping, though the media room had a comfy couch for napping or overnight stays. There was no AC, but fans and a small AC tower helped keep us cool. Overall, a fantastic experience!

The house is beautiful and in a great location. It was perfect for our large group, plenty of space and such beautifully decorated. It really couldn’t have been nicer. You are always worried when you see the pictures that it won’t live up to them in real life, this was even better than the pictures. The rooftop patio was to die for. Incredible view! I highly recommend. There are lots of stairs, so be aware if there are issues.

What a wonderful stay! Our host was so friendly and helpful. I appreciated her reaching out to see if we had everything we needed and assisting us in coordinating extra services. The house was so clean and spacious. Everyone in our group was impressed with the daily housekeeping and daily fresh towels. It really makes a difference. We all felt so taken care of while staying in the home. Thank you so much for the hospitality.

My family and I (13 total, include 3 kids under age of 10) really enjoyed our stay at this perfectly located house. Within a 5-10 minute walk we were at the main square which is surrounded by plenty of restaurants, shops, markets and bars - enough to keep anyone happy. Especially during the festive holiday season when the square comes alive at night with people singing and mariachi playing. Lorena made our large family gathering in San Miguel feel effortless. Her clear communication and responsiveness, even during a major holiday, were impressive. She was quick to provide good local recommendations and even helped us find a mariachi band to play on the rooftop terrace one day to help celebrate the grandparent's 50th anniversary! Speaking of the rooftop - it had magnificent views of the city and valley beyond. Each afternoon we would make our way up there for a cocktail through sunset before heading down to cook dinner or hit a local restaurant. My family & I left very happy!

The property is gorgeous and location is superb. The Mercado artesanal is half a block away, main town plaza about a 10 minute walk. Lorena was very responsive and accommodating.

The stay was an unforgettable experience, the house was impeccable in all kinds of details, the rooms were incredible and the views even more. Lorena was an impeccable host, she supported us at all times and made us feel at home. It was an amazing experience, I hope to return soon!

Stayed here on my wedding weekend with my family and friends. Beautifully renovated home, very comfortable, with a courtyard that was great for getting ready in and taking photos. Lorena was a wonderful hostess, she welcomed us when we arrived late and had even purchased some basic groceries, so that we had something to eat upon arrival.

Lorenas place is nicer than the pictures! the iner courtyard is fantastic, 2 rofftop terraces with killer views! everithing feels brand new and decorated with excellet taste. Loren greated us and gave us the full walkthrough. totally recomended for a large group!

Wow, what a great property! Even better in person than the photos suggest. Perfect location in SMA. Daily house keeper. Lorena met us at the property on arrival to show us around. Recommend very highly! An outpost of the famous Lavanda cafe is literally almost across the street which is perfect for morning coffee and pastries. Very well equipped and spotless. Beautiful roof terraces. We wish we could go back already!

It was a family trip, with a baby, children and adults. We have traveled a lot and Lorena's house is certainly one of the most beautiful I have stayed in. It's nice, classy and everything is top-notch. Lorena was in the house waiting for us with thousands of details, she was attentive the whole time. Lorena's house is a great choice for a family trip. And the location and rooftop are perfect. We would definitely stay again

The house is spectacular. Lorena keeps it impeccable. It is located in the center of San Miguel, you can walk everywhere. Lorena has Ceci who helps with the daily cleaning of the house and is very friendly and leaves everything very clean. My only suggestion is that there should be more accessories in the kitchen (plates to serve more pans and pots etc) to be able to make better use of the beautiful kitchen you have. The house is highly recommended. We spent Christmas with a family of 15 people and we were very happy. The terrace has an amazing view. I definitely plan to come back.

The house is beautiful, perfect for a large group and for everyone to have privacy. The terrace is beautiful and is just as good as other famous terraces in San Miguel. The attention and excellent communication. Super comfortable beds and armchairs. Definitely a very good experience.
