Very nice stay in Puerto Morelos. The accommodation is great, a short walk from the beach, and it's very spacious. The rooftop is amazing. I recommend it!

We were a family of 5 including a baby and Katherine’s home was perfect for us. We had a mix of active and relaxing days and hanging out at home with the rooftop pool and roof space was so enjoyable. Walkable to lots of restaurants, the beach, grocery store and just a short uber over to Colonia side for everything offered there. 1/2 block to The Local coffee shop where we enjoyed breakfast and lunch too. The house is very comfortable, big well stocked kitchen, 3 king bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, and everything clean and taken care of. Katherine’s team of Roberto, Enrique, and Rosie were wonderful and their efforts to keep us taken care of were very appreciated. Katherine provided a very comprehensive guide to the home and area which we appreciated and referred to throughout our stay. We also had our arrival dinner provided by Nina, arranged through Roberto, and it did not disappoint. Highly recommend Casa Perros Afortunado. We certainly felt like Lucky Dogs when we were there.

We had a great week at Katherine’s home. It’s in a good location that’s walking distance to everything (the beach, restaurants, grocery store) and the house had everything we needed for the week. We spent the majority of our time on the rooftop which was such a huge bonus! Katherine provided a ton of recommendations and Roberto, Eduardo, and everyone else were very responsive and helpful. We’re looking forward to returning to PM one day soon.

Our family had an excellent time the week we spent in Puerto Morelos. From the moment we booked, Katherine was communicative, helpful and had loads of information to share. What struck me the most was Katherine‘s mission for this place and this home is to support the local community and treat the place with the utmost respect. This came across in the information she shared, the recommendations, her local staff and support, as well as her recommendations on how to treat the land and its inhabitants. We love this area, this house was perfect for our family of five, we would happily return.

Gorgeous house in a fantastic location. You can park your car inside the gate and forget about it because everything is within walking distance. Kitchen is huge and VERY well equipped, bedrooms are extremely spacious with balconies big enough to be an entire room! The rooftop patio/bar and pool was the cherry on top. Wish I could've stayed longer!

Katherine’s place was perfect layout and location for our family and very spacious! Katherine and Roberto’s communication was quick, friendly and accommodating. Pictures look a little “fancier” than the space itself (which is common) but everything appeared clean and well taken care of. We would stay again for sure.

This was our second trip to Katherine’s home and we will absolutely be back for a third! Casa perros is the perfect balance of location, space, walkability and tranquility. The property managers are super helpful and responsive. Katherine’s guide does a great job getting you up to speed before the trip and answering any questions that may come up. We loved everything about this place! Three blocks from the beach, excellent restaurants closeby and a lovely neighborhood. The house was clean and spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. The kids enjoyed having a ping-pong table. Katherine was a pleasure to communicate with from the initial booking to our check out. Highly recommended!

We had the most wonderful stay! The house is absolutely beautiful — spacious, comfortable, and so well equipped, they’ve truly thought of everything. The rooftop pool was a dream — perfect for relaxing and taking in the views. Enrique, the caretaker, was fantastic and always ready to help with anything we needed. And a special mention to Nina, who came to cook us the most delicious Mexican meal — such a treat! The location couldn’t be better, close to everything but still peaceful and private. We felt completely at home and didn’t want to leave. We’ll definitely be back! 🌴✨

Puerto Morelos is an absolute hidden gem. If you’re looking for something quieter than the resorts but just as beautiful—this is the place. The beach is stunning, walkable, and never too crowded. It has the perfect blend of local charm and easy comfort. The house was super close to the ocean, had everything we needed, large and spacious and even a pool to cool off after the beach. Communication was excellent throughout the stay—quick, clear, and kind. You can tell the host genuinely cares about your experience. If you’re considering booking—do it. This is a special spot.

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Perros Afortunados, the house has everything you could wish for to make your holiday unforgettable. It’s situated a short walk from the public beach and town centre so very central, but backs onto the mangroves so is very private on the terrace where the lovely pool is to help you cool off on hot days. We had a wonderful meal cooked for us by Enrique and Nina and the most glorious massage by Gabriella so definitely try both. The house was a wonderful home from home and I can’t recommend Katherine’s place enough. Katherine herself is a very responsive friendly host who will go out of her way to make sure your holiday is great.

This is our 2nd time renting Katherine’s home! It is wonderful! We stayed as 2 couples on our first visit and this trip we brought our 2 college age kids. Everyone has their own space when needed. We enjoyed dipping in the pool and playing games on the rooftop each evening! We had one tiny issue rather late at night and Katherine and Roberto (mgr) responded immediately and remedied it. Puerto Morelos is a quaint little town with lots of great restaurants and live music. Be sure to check out La Colonia as well. Katherine’s place will be our first choice each time we visit!

We had an excellent experience at this house in Puerto Morelos. The location is very central and only a few steps from the sea. The house is spacious and comfortable, ideal for groups; in our case we were three couples and we really enjoyed the weekend. It has its own pool, a perfect terrace to relax and a ping pong table that gave our stay a plus. The service from Kath and Roberto was impeccable. They were always attentive and attentive to our arrival and that everything was fine during our stay. A great detail was the guide they shared, with food recommendations, home services, taxis and more, which made everything even easier and more comfortable. We would definitely be back!

This is a fantastic location in Porto Morales. I highly recommend it. The inside is comfortable and clean, but nothing beats the rooftop terrace!

I frequent many AirBnB’s due to my work and can honestly say that Katherine’s place is in the top 3! The location is unbeatable with so many restaurants nearby, a 5 min walk to the beach and snorkeling and in such a relaxing part of town. Katherine and her team literally thought of everything you could possibly need to make your stay as comfortable and easy as possible. I cannot wait to come back to Puerto Moreles and stay here again! Cannot recommend this place enough!

Casa Perros Afortunados was amazing! Katherine and her team have really thought of everything. The location is amazing, Puerto Morelos is a beautiful town, and the home had truly everything you could ever need for a beach vacation. I can’t wait to return, we had a perfect time!! Special shout-out to her house manager Roberto for helping us with everything and Enrique for making us a truly incredible dinner one night.

Both Katherine & Roberto, are extremely responsive. The house is convenient to both the beach and town/restaurants. Rooftop is spacious and comfortable. We were able to have great massages on the private balcony. thanks to Katherine.

This is the perfect house in the perfect location! Spacious, clean, homely, and fully appointed. All the room you could ask for, a huge roof deck with a pool, a back patio with a pingpong table, and a large well stocked kitchen. It's 3 blocks from the beach, 5 blocks from the town square, with many shops and restaurants even closer. Kathrine was super communicative, and Roberto was extremely helpful and always available. A beautiful house in a truly beautiful place, I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The rooftop was the highlight of our trip! The pool, bar, and lounging options were perfect for us to relax and enjoy the space. The house was spacious and the kitchen is well stocked if you wanted to cook. Very walkable to all the restaurants and beach. We would stay here again.

This is a wonderful house in a great location. The house is comfortable and peaceful. The rooftop has everything you need to relax. There is a convenience store right across the street where you can buy juice, soda, beer or alcohol. A lovely bakery is less than a block away. It's a short walk to the main square's shops and restaurants, but if you want to stick close to home, there are delicious restaurants a block away. And just north of the house there is a lady who cooks the best takeaway chicken. I would highly recommend staying at this property.

Felt straight at home coming into this house. It was perfect. Spread over floors so you weren’t on top of each other with the gorgeous terrace at the top. Walking distance in 3 mins to the beach, 10 mins to a brilliant supermarket and 7 mins to the laundrette. Some wonderful restaurants too. The guide Katherine sent was brilliant and Roberto was very helpful. The cockerel next door was a little annoying but that’s just life in Mexico and we definitely had worse elsewhere…he only did a few crows every morning. Overall, a really great place and I’d definitely recommend to anyone. Thank you Katherine

We had a fabulous time staying here. It is even more beautiful than the pictures and very spacious. We have stayed in PM many times and this was by far the nicest place we rented. It is 2 short blocks from the most beautiful beach. Katherine has the house well supplied with everything for a comfortable stay. We had an electrical issue (it was only late at night because the house also has solar power) due to the lines on the street, and Katherine had it fixed immediately, even on a holiday. The outdoor spaces, especially the huge roof deck are amazing. We did not cook at all but if you want to the kitchen is spacious and well stocked. The house is walking distance to all the great restaurants and shops in PM. Highly recommend this home and Katherine as host. I cannot wait to go back!

Our family enjoyed every minute of our time in Puerto Morelos. Katherine was proactive in her communication before and during our trip and the guidebook she sent was so helpful. She even helped me source options when we had issues with our rental car from the airport. Roberto met us onsite as promised and was flexible as our trip from the airport was delayed. He checked in with us during our stay and was responsive when we had questions. The house is well appointed, extremely clean, and there is so much space to spread out. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and meals up on the roof and couldn't have asked for a better location. There are restaurants within a block or two, a convenience store across the street, and we frequented the fruit market nearby. I appreciated that we were a few blocks removed from the busier part of town and preferred the quiet residential location while only a few minutes walk from the beach. The hardest part of our trip was leaving!

We had the best time here. So close to amazing restaurants and the beach. The rooftop was so fun. We watched a lot of sunsets from the pool. The convenience of the little store across the street was perfect. We even handed out candy for Halloween! Lucio and his family were so lovely and Russ and Leanna were very responsive up to and during the stay! I would definitely come back!

This home was great. It was our 2nd time in PM. The first time we stayed in a modern apartment. We very much enjoyed the warmth, regional decor, and homey feeling Russ and Leanna’s place afforded us. It was an easy walk to the beach, to the town center, and to many wonderful restaurants. Neighbors were friendly and welcoming.

absolutely loved this place. russ and Leanne and their house manager Lucio were so kind to accommodate my family in an emergency as a last minute booking. the place was spotless, beautiful, comfortable, thought out, and we appreciated so many of the little details (so many towels, extra pillows, soap, lots of drinkable water, books and magazines available, insect repellent) thank you for amazing stay, we really needed a safe place to land and you provided a little oasis for our family, we are very appreciative

Wonderful stay! The pool is a great break from the heat.

This home is just a couple blocks from the shore and very close to all the shops/restaurants. Lucio- the house manager was very friendly and attentive and gave us recommendations (he speaks mostly Spanish). Short walk to the supermarket. The area is pretty quiet, Puerto Morelos seems to avoid much of the hustle and bustle of nearby locations like Cancun or Playa del Carmen. Even on the weekend, we didn't hear much music or noise after 11pm (although I think June is the low season). There were 5 of us in our group, and we all had plenty of space. The upstairs bar/pool area was great!

We loved this place so much. The Mexican vibe was awesome and it had everything you could need.

Russ and Leanna’s home is a great location to enjoy everything the Puerto Morelos area has to offer. Very comfortable space for our family of 5, and the rooftop pool and terrace were spectacular.

The house is beautiful, with wonderful amenities. The rooftop deck is amazing. Rooms are clean and comfortable. As a single woman staying there I felt very secure. The little Mercado across the street and the restaurant on the corner were a plus as was the close access to the beach and the town center. If I get the chance to visit the area again this will be my first choice.

Great place to stay. Pictures are accurate, place is actually larger than it appears in pictures. Super quick walk to beach and town square. Ping pong table was big hit for our family. AC works well, bottled water is provided. Beach chairs/umbrella available. Kitchen is well equipped. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful house in a wonderful neighborhood. Quick and easy walk to the beach and quick walk to amazing restaurants. This house has everything we needed for a comfortable relaxing stay in Puerto Morelos. Multiple seating areas so we could spread out. Beds were very comfortable as were the couches. Check in/out was a breeze and Lucio the property manager was a joy to work with…friendly and professional!

By far the nicest place we’ve stayed in Puerto Morelos. Close to the beach and plaza, but not so close that we were disturbed by the late night crowd and noise of the bars and restaurants over the holiday. The house backs up to the mangrove and was wonderfully peaceful and relaxing hearing the variety of birds that were singing throughout the day. Communication with the host was excellent, and Lucio and his family took great care to see that we had everything we needed during our week. The house was perfect for the six of us, the two bedrooms upstairs are equipped with king beds and private bathrooms. The downstairs bedroom also a king bed and bathroom right outside the door, which worked great for our two teenagers. The house is equipped with everything you need for a wonderful stay. We will absolutely be staying here again next time we’re in PM.

Such a wonderful home! This was our first AirBnB rental and Russ and Leanna set the bar impossibly high! Great location and the pool was used for hours everyday! AC was great in every room! Most memorable vacation ever!

Great stay wonderful house, every thing was so clean. Great location easy to walk to everything. Russ was very helpful before we left and Lucio was just a text away if we needed him , but everything was so nice and easy, we did not. the house is beautiful. great art. good beds. If you cook there is a lot of staples to get started. we spent a lot of time on the roof top floating in the pool, then more relaxing in the shade. would stay here again anytime! we loved it

A lovely house to stay in with everything that you would need. The kitchen has everything you'd want, there are a ton of games and books to keep you occupied and with a short walk to the supermarket or the beach, it really is the perfect base. It suited us, 2 couples travelling together, perfectly. The main bedrooms are HUGE and the differentliving spaces are well thought out and we used them to the full. We wouldn't hesitate staying here again. You absolutely feel and are treated like it is "your" house to stay in, as there are no rule books or laminated instructions posted everywhere to make you feel like you have to watch everything you do. It is very comfortable and luxurious home away from home.

Beyond lovely! We have stayed in about 6 different places in PM as our kids live there. This is our favorite!

Had a great stay here with our family of 6. Plenty of room. The kids loved the pool (nice view from the roof) and the proximity to the beach (only 3 minutes walking). It was also only a short 4 minute walk to the center of town and the main grocery store, which is very nice if you decide to not rent a car. Russ was very responsive when we had any questions.

This is a wonderful home in the perfect location in Puerto Morelos! This home has an abundance of fantastic and functional outdoor space, and plenty of thoughtful space inside. There are 2 equal master suites with plenty of space and comfortable beds and bedding. There is also a nice sized downstairs bedroom. The kitchen is equipped with everything that you would need and plenty of filtered water. The rooftop is even better than you would expect. The location can't be beat, just a few min walk to the beach, and short walks to all of the places that you would want to visit during your stay - grocery store, restaurants, coffee shops, pier, etc. It was very safe to walk around at all times. One thing to note is that you can hear a rooster, however this is not isolated to this property and more tied to the neighborhood. I would not hesitate to stay here again on my next stay!

This place is one of a kind. The space is absolutely beautiful, amazing place to cook and eat outside in the back yard or the epic roof top balcony. We made many meals together. I had an 85 yo Father in law who used the downstairs room and our baby was in the media room, there was plenty of space for all 6 of us. This is the most well thought out Air BnB I have ever been to in my life- Thank you !

Large, beautifully decorated house. Very well located 5 min to beach and shops. The rooms are spacious and the house well equipped. The outdoor lounge on the roof is very nice with the small pool. The washing machine was unfortunately broken down during our stay, and the dishwasher would be a plus.

Russ and Leanna’s place was amazing for my week trip to puerto morelos. The house is super easy to get to from the airport, and it’s a good base if you want to explore cancun area and all it has to offer. The house is about a 5 minute walk to the centro where you can get taxis. The house itself was amazing because there was so much space for the 3 of us, that there was no problem with sharing spaces. Communication with the hosts are incredibly easy and Lucio the groundskeeper filled us in on everything including how to get around and where to eat. When I come back to puerto morelos I wouldn’t be staying anywhere else other than casa perros afortunados. Thank you again for the hospitality.

This was our first stay at an Airbnb. We could not have been happier with this home. Russ was very responsive to my every question and really helped us through the process. The location is perfect. It's a very short walk to the beach and the town square. There's a taqueria a few doors down, 6 freshly made corns tortillas for about 15 cents U.S. Add fresh cheese, yogurt, local cheese, a mango, avocado, Chilean white wine from the grocery store at the town square and you'll have a very affordable dinner and breakfast in your fully equipped kitchen. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance. Puerto Morelos people are lovely and welcoming. We hope to return and highly recommend this home.

Great house and location.

The house was very spacious and clean. Lucio was very helpful. We did not get to meet his wife as we were away when she came. His father was there each morning to water the plants. They are a sweet family. And yes there are roosters next door. Just bring earplugs. We learned that they are common on the beach. We were very close to town. Each day on the beach The Paradise Beach Club offered free chairs and umbrellas with a drink or food order. We love Puerto Morelos.

This house was wonderful! Perfect location for everything! Host was easy to work with and the house manager was waiting by the gate as planned when we arrived. House description was very accurate, highly recommend if you want to stay out of very touristy area!

This place was magical! Russ and Leana were wonderful hosts and provided us with ample information prior to our arrival. They were also super prompt on responding to my various questions. The house was beautiful and well kept up. Lucio was also very nice. I would definitely recommend staying here! Our experience was perfect!

Where to begin? The home is beautiful; Puerto Morelos is one of the most gorgeous places we've ever seen; Lucio, the house manager, and his family were welcoming and kind. The home is immaculate. We were within just a few strolling moments of the most gorgeous PM beach, and less than a block from several tiny little home-cooking restaurants, which we enjoyed both in the fully turned-out dining room in Casa Perros as well as on the third floor pool/lounge area. The fourth floor observation deck gave us views of gorgeous mangrove sunsets and even a huge rainbow over the sea after an early morning rain. This really was the vacation to end all vacations, and could've only been improved had we stayed longer. Thank you, Russ and Leanna, for your hospitality, and for Casa Perros Afortunados - we will definitely be back soon!
