Our stay at Casa Piña was amazing. 1. The area: everything is within walking distance - from restaurants to the Zócalo or Santo Domingo 2. The bedrooms: very pleasant and comfortable, each with its own AC, so it's very comfortable. 3. The kitchen: It has everything. We made hot chocolate and coffee in the mornings, and we had the coffee maker and teakettle to make hot water very quickly. 4. The service: very friendly. They gave us local recommendations and always answered us. 5. The bathrooms are OK. They do their job, but that's it. Nothing extraordinary. Thank you! It's a great, great place to stay.

My group and I had a delightful stay here during our trip to Oaxaca! The house was gorgeous. Beautifully designed and well thought out. We also really enjoyed the large backyard for relaxing and socializing. The location was incredible! In the middle of the city center, it was walking distance to everything! All the restaurants, the markets, there was even a Mezcal tasting room across the street! But of course, as a result, this was a pretty loud place to stay. Combination of airplanes and street noise. But we found the central location to be worth it! The hot water in the bathroom showers was inconsistent most days. But not a dealbreaker. The house included refills of water jugs, which was so helpful to have! My group went through jugs quickly, and the host was super responsive about bringing new ones every day! We really appreciated that. We enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend!! Hope to stay here again someday!

We had a wonderful time at Casa Pina and in Oaxaca! The place is clean, spacious, comfortable, and safe. There are excellent restaurants, museums, bars, and an abundance of cultural attractions and art all within walking distance. The neighborhood is vibrant, and the people are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The property also has a spacious, relaxing courtyard. There is a youth hostel adjacent to the courtyard, so there can be some light evening activity at times, but it didn’t detract from our overall enjoyment of the stay. We really enjoyed our time and look forward to returning to Oaxaca soon!

Gorgeous home with beautiful interiors—we truly felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Rolando was incredibly kind, responsive, and thoughtful, and he shared great local recommendations that made our stay even better. The house is very spacious and comfortable; our group of six had more than enough room to relax and enjoy ourselves. The location is unbeatable—walkable to everything, with tons of great restaurants, coffee shops, and stores just steps away. The outdoor garden was the perfect bonus and such a lovely place to unwind. We had an amazing stay and would absolutely return without hesitation.

A beautiful stay and great location. Super quiet inside but still close to all the sights. I would definitely go back. We also spent a ton of time on the back patio which was a great way to decompress after a day of walking around!

We had a great stay. I’m not sure who Rolando is, but Iris is who we met with and she was so kind, helpful and responsive. The location is great, right in the thick of it all. Walking distance to everything you could need. We also rented a car and having the garage was a huge plus. It’s a smaller size, not sure more than a compact car would fit. The beds are comfortable, the pillows are a bit hard and tall…but we made it work. It’s very spacious. No real comfortable space to gather with our group. We kinda sat on the floor when we all wanted to watch tv. Not a dealbreaker but good to be aware of. There are two couches but in separate rooms. The water pressure is not great. I’ve heard that it’s generally low pressure in most places in Oaxaca. The ac in the bedrooms is fantastic. The other parts of the house do get quite warm. The internet works well, but did kick us off a few times. It’s not super fast so probably not great if you need to work remotely at all.

Casa Piña is a home away from home, well located and very comfortable. Rolando is always attentive, friendly and keeps constant communication. Excellent person, always willing to support as well as his team. Thanks for having us 🤍

Our group had a fantastic time at Casa Pina. We were very comfortable with the air conditioning and had lots of room to spread out and enjoy the space with our friends. The location is in the heart of the city with easy access to restaurants, bars, pharmacies, laundry and convenience stores. We had one request and Rolando’s team was very responsive and resolved it quickly. We would all highly recommend and stay again!

Casa Piña was a perfect stay for our trip. It looked just like the photos and offered a serene and central place to call home for the week. The outdoor space was perfect for evenings and mornings to relax. There was only some noise from local celebrations on Friday night but otherwise was surprisingly quiet despite its central location. The water pressure was a bit low in the pink bathroom, however I understand there is a drought. Overall it was an incredible stay and our hosts were very responsive to any requests or questions.

Beautiful home in the heart of Oaxaca, Rolando was very attentive with providing transport to and from the airport. Beautiful spacious home with comfy beds. Loved the hammock out back. One of my favorites stays so far. Mexico Airbnb doesn’t disappoint!

Beautiful home. All the amenities needed were available. I was not able to meet to get the keys at my estimated time and they were really flexible. Home was within walking distance of everything Oaxaca had to offer. Would recommend and stay here again with my family.

The Airbnb was in a very peaceful and quiet neighborhood. Without a doubt one of the most cleanest and beautiful Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed in Oaxaca City. We definitely appreciated the private parking space. The host welcomed us with Mezcal, overall a wonderful experience!

Casa Pińa was everything we expected - it was clean, beautifully decorated, and great location. We hope to visit Oaxaca again soon and definitely rebook here.

We loved staying at Casa Pina! Rolando and his team were very communicative through the check in and remained available throughout our stay. The location is perfect for exploring Oaxaca. The bedrooms are tucked off the road - even the light sleepers in our group were undisturbed - and well air conditioned. We really appreciated all the lounging areas (indoor and outdoor!) and the charming dining room and well equipped kitchen.

This home is located in a great place for walking to coffee shops, bakery's, many restaurants & the markets. Parking in the garage was so convenient! The kitchen is equipped with 2 non stick pans, some utensils and minimum cups and glasses so the main cooking we could do there was breakfast. But, we soon found great local coffee shops with awesome breakfasts so we didn't need to cook much after that. The beds were all queens but comfortable. We had warm showers each day with no issues. We called for more towels and they were very prompt. There is a nice TV. We stayed in the home for 11 days and would stay here again.

Very much enjoyed our stay at Rolando's stylish and comfortable house. Excellent restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. Would go back in a flash but might have to save my money for a while...

Just an amazing small house perfectly located. A wonderful small patio with a giant grapefruit tree. All in all fully recommendable!

Wonderful spot! The home is so beautiful with outdoor and indoor sitting areas and lovely bedrooms. The hosts were so responsive and helpful especially with check in and check out. The location is in the centro but not on a loud street.

It was a very nice stay. The showers and their hot water need to be checked because it is difficult to find the right temperature. There's also no TV. I would also like to highlight the super friendly and always helpful treatment by the hosts. The location is unbeatable, and we were able to park the car perfectly, which is no small thing for the area! I recommend it.

Excellent location! Everything was in walking distance. The space overall was perfect for the price. Very clean and comfortable and accommodating for my family. The bedding pillows and mattress were top notch. The host had affordable gifts for the kids. Such a thoughtful touch. Incredibly responsive and helpful with anything we needed. Excellent house in great location!!! A little noisy at night.

Really spacious and bright apartment. Every bedroom is nice so no fighting over who gets the best one! There isn’t much of a kitchen so would be hard for a long term stay but fine for our short stay as we ate out every day. Great location - really walkable but pretty quiet considering how loud Oaxaca gets at night. Host was communicative and let us drop our bags off before check in!

Rolando and Iris were super friendly at all time. They let us arrive earlier to leave our bags and gave us local recommendations. They were always attentive and very helpful. The house is centrally located, so we don't need a car at all. Very clean, very nice decorated for Christmas parties and a quiet vibe. We would definitely come back here.

Everything is amazing in Casa Pina!! I love the quality of the mattresses and the location is the best thing in Oaxaca!!!

The ONLY downside was the extremely loud club next door on first night. After that it was pretty normal for a huge weekend of Dias de Los Muertos…..if you want quiet this may not be the spot but we were very happy with location!

It is a very spacious, comfortable, clean, tidy, and very well located property, close to the former Santo Domingo convent and the main square. Highly recommended for those looking for a place from which to explore downtown Oaxaca.

We had a great time visiting Oaxaca, and this location was very close to many great restaurants and was walking distance to many areas of Oaxaca that we wanted to visit.

My only gripe was the kitchen cabinets were empty and there were ants everywhere. We wanted to cook pasta one night but no pots and pans. Other than that the beds are comfy and good size rooms. 2 bathrooms really helped 5 ppl getting out the door quickly. Iris was very helpful and responsive to all our needs.

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Pina and would certainly come back! The house is very conveniently located, with many terrific restaurants, mezcalarias, and shops nearby. Inside was very clean, and more than adequate for our group. One small issue was that wifi did not always work, but for us this was not a problem. Monica, Beatriz, and Rolando were also very responsive and helpful. We hope to visit Oaxaca City again and will look to stay here again!

The home was as described, great location and plenty of space. Previous reviews commented about lack of hot water in showers but as noted this was fixed and can confirm that the water gets hot very quickly. The location is ideal for Oaxaca Centro and has great cafe's and mezcal tasting spots across the street not too mention private parking (rare in this area). The team is very accommodating and thoughtful, from every review i have read they have taken some of the minor feedback and made changes making this an ideal home for a family or a group of friends. Zocalo is a few blocks away and we appreciated the walk as we got to explore the area by going down different roads and seeing what Oaxaca Centro had to offer along the way. great space, great location and great team running this property. definitely would be a repeat customer

Phenomenal! I think they were just starting out, so we were incredibly lucky to find this on a very busy weekend before Día de Los Muertos. Great location - just minutes to everything in Centro on a street with great cafes and restaurants. Very comfortable rooms, beautiful design, and they even decorated with an altar for día de los muertos. They knew we were celebrating a friends birthday - so they surprised us with a cake! We had one minor issue with a blown fuse, but they incredibly had it fixed within 20 minutes of us asking for help. We will definitely stay here again!
