Carmelo Concept Villas

This place is a gem. Modern, stylish and spacious. Located in a secure, gated area. It’s about 5 minutes walk to a range of good cafes and restaurants, and 10 minutes to the main square. Ideal for a couple or two couples. The kitchen, living and dining are situated downstairs, as is the first bedroom, toilet and shower. The second bed, toilet and shower are upstairs. The blackout blinds ensure privacy from the adjacent villas. There are 4 villas in the complex. It has everything you need for a comfortable and peaceful stay in Antigua. I would return without hesitation. Special mention to Rogelio and Ricardo who assisted us with our day to day needs. Recommended.

The cabin has a very interesting design and functionality, each area and element is designed to make your stay more comfortable. It does not have air conditioning but it was not necessary and the kitchen is very well equipped, the quality of personal care products is appreciated.

Overall our stay was amazing here in Antigua. The villa looked just like the photos provided, but the first floor bathroom did have a stench to it. Due to the smell, we avoided using that bathroom and stuck to the one upstairs. We loved the fact that is was gated with security so we felt safe. The staff was accommodating to all our needs when we needed something. We pretty much walked everywhere because the villa sits right on the strip with restaurants and local sight seeing. The location was actually perfect!

I have nothing bad to say about this stay. The house is beautiful, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and everything was clean. I had no issues getting in touch with the host, who was always responsive. However, I recommend checking in with the host before arrival to confirm the exact location, as Google Maps and Waze gave us different addresses. Fortunately, the host quickly clarified the correct one. Also, while I didn’t mind since the temperature dropped at night, keep in mind that this place does not have air conditioning. If AC is a necessity for you, this might not be the best fit

Absolutely gorgeous Airbnb with everything you need for a perfect stay. The accommodations are beautiful and high quality. The onsite staff was very attentive and helpful. The location was close to downtown and next to several wonderful restaurants. We can’t recommend it enough! Absolutely five stars.

We had a great experience at Carmelo Villa. The Villa is brand new and beautifully designed, in a peaceful gated community. There are good restaurants walking distance. The host super responsive and friendly.

This location is in the best place in the city. You do not need a car because everything you would want to do is in walking distance. The place was as described and the staff was amazing always ready when you needed them. We had a blast there and was able to stay an extra day at a last moment notice. We would stay here and recommend you do as well

This is a beautiful place. It’s on the expensive end of the market but, as my daughter told me, you get what you pay for. One thing that was outstanding but undersold is the onsite staff. You say “Hola!” right outside the unit and someone appears. Ricardo and Rogélio, the onsite staff, are incredible, hospitable, and always ready to assist. I would certainly come back to Sebastian’s spot on my next trip to Antigua.

My recent stay at exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism by the staff. The check-in process was seamless, and I was immediately impressed by the cleanliness and elegance of the lobby. The room itself was nothing short of luxurious. Impeccably clean, tastefully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities one could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep every night. One aspect that truly stood out during my stay was the exceptional level of service provided by the staff. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure that my needs were met. Only negative is during the day it seems to be very warm and there is no air condition- however I did request a second fan an it was no issue at night it is very cool and comfortable to sleep .

We travel to Antigua to see the events during Easter, and the location of the property is in the center of the city.

This was such a great find! Sebastian’s place was just what we needed: a cozy, warm, and stylish home, decorated with style and perfect for a great stay in Antigua. The house is spacious, full of natural light, very private, extremely comfortable, safe, and peaceful, yet only a 5-minute walk away from the town. Sebastian is a very responsive and kind host, and both Rogelio and Ricardo on site made our stay a great one.

Super quiet place, clean, comfortable, comfortable, with security at the entrance and one can leave the cart at the front without any risk, close to restaurants, in a straight line you reach the center of old, arch, etc and the attention is spectacular. Super recommended for a relaxed vacation.

Grat place to stay in Antigua

what a gem! we were 3 couples staying in two apartments (a 2 bedroom and a 1 bedroom) inside lovely Casa Carmelo. It is new, beautiful, comfortable and an oasis of rest during our first visit to Antigua. Finding it what a little of a challenge but once there, our two hosts, Rogeio and Ricardo were AMAZING! they took care of our every need and were amazing as "concierge" securing for us transportation, groceries, etc. They were a delight and made the trip that much more memorable. The remote part of Antigua protected us from "night" noises such as tourists/cars/parties, etc. and all we heard at night were birds and the wind in the trees. Magical. It's a nice 15 minute walk to the center plaza - The only thing that could have been better - apartments do not have airconditioning, which is not needed at night,it gets rather chilly. The days were warm (low 80's) and getting ready for a formal event without airconditioning was a little uncomfortable. a minor inconvenience if any

The accommodation is as shown in the photos. The cleanliness and good service of Sebastian and Rogelio are the most important thing to note. The rooms are very well distributed and it is very pleasant to be. The location is also very good, it is a quiet area, well connected and with coffee restaurants nearby.

Incredible place. This was such a pleasure to be at. It was very very unexpected and I think a one of a kind maybe in the entire Guatemala. The design is so sleek and high end. We happened to stay here in unit 1 of 4 and it was just us. Was super nice and on demand 24/7 staff and security

I would have put 5 more stars if possible! Brand new beautifully designed place in old style looking house having 4 identical flats, each with private garden and also a commun outdoor seating. Great for traveling as a couple, with children or several families together booking all flats in the house. Great for home cooking. the best bedding we had while traveling in Guatemala! Perfect daily room service, laundry room with big capacity machines. In a quiet but central area of Antigua, with nice restaurants nearby.

Had a wonderful time staying at this condo after an exhausting hike up Acatenango volcano. Everything was very comfortable and Sebastian and the on-site help were very friendly and helpful.
