Our family of 12 had an absolutely wonderful stay, and we couldn't have been happier with this beautiful home. The location was perfect, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the open patio quickly became our favorite place to gather and spend time together. Arturo was an exceptional host! He met us at check-in, thoroughly explained everything about the house, and shared excellent local recommendations that we ended up using and truly appreciated. His communication throughout our stay was outstanding and made everything so easy. We loved every minute of our stay, and when we return to Oaxaca, we will definitely book this house again. Highly recommend!

The place is amazing!!! It's super spacious and it's like a mini hotel. Each room is super comfortable and fully equipped! Juan Carlos is an amazing host, always attentive and super friendly. The location is great ! In the heart of downtown, we walked everywhere. Finally, I want to let you know that we forgot something and they immediately sent it to us, which speaks even more to how honest and careful they are with their accommodation! Don't hesitate to stay here!!!!

A very nice, comfortable place with an excellent location. Highly recommended.

Prime location, 3 blocks from the Zócalo, separate bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and key. Very clean. Paid parking less than a block away. The only thing is that it's difficult to open the outside door, but we were always able to open it with patience. Nina explained every detail to us and was on time to greet us and say goodbye.

My family and I were very happy with Juan Carlos's house. It is very central and everything is very close to everything. The rooms are very clean and spacious. We liked the patio space with a very cute table. Juan Carlos responded promptly when we needed him. Very clean beds, excellent air conditioning, and the complimentary bottles of water and soda were very, very helpful when we arrived. We would definitely rent it again if we return to Oaxaca.

Great walkable location to all major markets and good food. Some street noise but nothing too bothersome for being such a central location. Each room had its own bathroom & shower, lock & key, and coffee maker. Some of the showers did not have hot water which was unfortunate but we made it work.

Everything was great, good communication with Juan Carlos, and the house was very nice and conveniently located.

Loved the house

You cannot beat the location of this house. Everything is within walking distance and some of the best restaurants in town are literally across the street. There is also a famous hat store right next door. We stayed here with our 4 adult children and their partners and the house was incredibly comfortable for 5 couples. Everybody had their own bedroom and bathroom and lots of privacy. The hosts are responsive and helpful. If I had to pick a downside it would be that because we chose such a great location, that comes with added noise. If you are looking for peace and quiet and sleeping in, this may not be for you. Right next to a school, church and plenty of traffic noise. We didn't mind because we are early risers. Would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay in this very traditional Oaxaca home. Fantastic location a block and a half off of the main Zocolo, and very close to the Mercados all of the great restaurants in Oaxaca City. Juan Carlo’s was very responsive and our stay was effortless. Very happy we booked our stay here!

The place is certainly the most central you can find, one block from the market, half a block from the main square, everything is within walking distance. The place is very well maintained, well equipped, you don't lack anything, they are very attentive to anything, we asked for blankets and they brought us new ones, really a great place to visit Oaxaca

Very good service and amenities from the host, the house is very clean, only the shower in the main bathroom does not have a curtain and the water comes out of the tub.

Great find! Perfect for my large group of family staying in Oaxaca before my wedding’ great communication with host. Allowed make up and hair girls to come and do my guests hair and make up in the patio. Communicated with me about outlet availability and made check in and check out super easy, Everything is as described and very clean! On top of that it’s a wonderful surprise how large the corridor patio is much larger than pictures make it seem. Perfect for communal gathering

We absolutely loved our stay! The home was spotless, cozy, and perfectly located for exploring the area on foot. The host communicated clearly throughout our visit, and Nina greeted us with such kindness when we arrived.

The house was very clean, comfortable and centrally located, which allows you to get to know Oaxaca, everything is as shown in the pictures, we had a great time, I recommend it

An excellent option to stay in the city of Oaxaca, for 10 people. The house is remodeled, with very tasteful finishes and with the artisan touch of Oaxaca. It is located less than two blocks from the Zócalo, so everything is within walking distance. It is a safe area, although obviously crowded, without being bustling. My whole group felt very comfortable in the house. Juan Carlos gave us the option to leave our luggage a little before check-in and also leave our luggage a few more hours after check-out. I would definitely recommend this place and I will gladly return.

Right at city center lots to do in the area restaurants, cafes, and bars. If traveling during day of the death and don't mind a little noise this is the perfect house. Juan Carlos always responded promptly when I had questions. I would definitely choose this house again.

Most wonderful place to stay. I have been to Oaxaca three times and this was the best place I have ever stayed in. The house is beautiful. It so so close to the zocalo and so many wonderful restaurants and bars. It is safe with a large front door and double locks. We enjoyed the kitchen and open patio at nights. Juan Carlos responded to quickly and even provided a new crib for my grandbaby. I will be back to stay here and highly recommend this place. Each room has its own refridgerator beds, nice linens, bathroom, tv and coffee maker.

Excellent location, very spacious rooms, more than what you see in the photos, we went on a family reunion trip, so the 5 rooms were enough for our family. Mrs. Nina treated us wonderfully, she even made us breakfast. Well-equipped and clean rooms! Everyone appreciated the good mattresses after long walks! Thank you

My stay was great, highly recommended, just as in the photos, super central, clean, beautiful, each room with a bathroom which allows for more privacy, only good things to say, and Juan Carlos was super attentive from the first moment.

Excellent location, the rooms contained what was necessary and more, enough towels, minibar in each room, everything was perfect.

The location can’t be beat. It was easy for us to go explore the city and be able to go back to the house for a quick rest (or to drop off the treasures bought so we’d have free hands to go out and get more!). There is some quirks to the house but it just adds to the adventure. The kitchen is not big or very equipped but it is not needed with so many great restaurants and food stands all around. There is one room that isn’t as spacious as the rest which is nice to know so you can be prepared to draw the short straw. Carlos was super easy to reach and he helped us out when we needed a shower fixed and set up airport transfer for us. We highly recommend this place and host!

Our family of 15 could have not asked for a better place to stay at we had great restaurants and everything is walkable. Juan Carlos was amazing communicating with me with anything we needed. My family had a great time here in Oaxaca. Words could bot describe Juan Carlos place. Thank you once again for this Experience and how welcoming you are.

Juan Carlos is an excellent host! He was immediately responsive and went out of his way to accommodate our requests. The house is lovely; just as pictured! It was perfect for our family of 6 adults and one teenager. Coffee, water, blow dryer…all the extras to get you going! The house is located very close to the zocalo and walking distance to everywhere you want go! Don’t hesitate and book!

We had an excellent stay. Just what we needed for a group of 14 people. Clean, comfortable rooms and very clean and well-equipped bathrooms. It's a plus that they have air conditioning. The kitchen, although small and sober, is very good. When you're in Oaxaca, you want to eat out. The common area is like a patio with a large table, which for us was excellent because we played and spent good nights as a family there. It is a few minutes' walk from the plaza and the walkway. The location is super good. Juan Carlos was very friendly and Mrs. Nina welcomed us very well. Overall highly recommended. We will definitely be back

The Airbnb was amazing and such a beautiful home! It was the perfect amount of space for my group of 9. Juan Carlos was extremely easy to get a hold of. The location was perfect too close to the market. I definitely recommend to stay here on your trip to Oaxaca you will not be disappointed 😊

The staff were fantastic and the place was really clean. The rooms had enormous ceiling heights which made for an even more spacious height. The location was perfect , centrally located too many sights and restaurants. I’ll definitely book again!

This Accom was outstanding My husband and 3 teenaged children loved the spaciousness. We used one room as a loungeroom to hang out together. Would be perfect for larger groups as each room has its own beautiful bathroom. This is one of the cleanest places we have stayed at. The beds are so comfy we really enjoyed our stay

Amazing place in a amazing location. Boutique style hotel with 5 seperate rooms all with ensuites and a large central courtyard and small kitchen. It was a really great spot and has everything that you could need: water, mini fridge, iron and board. Thanks for an awesome stay

The stay at Casa Crisantema was the best! Just what we were waiting for. Arriving at a place in perfect condition, with all the rooms clean, comfortable, with air conditioning, a coffee maker, a fridge with complimentary drinks, an iron, a hair dryer… and the best part! A central courtyard characteristic of the old colonial houses that was the meeting point to share anecdotes of the day and relax All the points of interest in the center were a few blocks away and the personal and friendly attention to all our requirements makes all the difference for a better experience of wonderful Oaxaca

Juan Carlos was always responsive to our questions leading up to the trip and immediately addressed a minor issue we identified. In walking distance to almost everything in Centro Oaxaca!

For those who like walkability this place is great! Just a short walk to the Zocalo or town center. Many restaurants and markets that we enjoyed immensely. The house was clean and safe. We were 7 adults. We passed on a few minor issues to Nina, and she addressed them immediately to assure that the property was ready for the next guests. There was ample room and privacy for everyone. We loved our visit to Oaxaca. Thank you Juan Carlos!

The location of the house is perfect to know the center of OAXACA, the only bad things are the pillows and the main watering can wet the entire bathroom. The refrigerator is extremely small and the kitchen leaves a little to be desired. Otherwise it's a super comfortable and clean house. Great communication with the host and the housekeeper.

We had such a great stay in Oaxaca. It was perfect for our big group of 5 couples - with each couple having their own room & bathroom. Perfect location as well near the middle of town.

Amazing location, excellent facilities for a large group traveling together. It has the perfect space for everyone to hang out and enjoy beverages in the courtyard with the benefit of complete privacy in each of the 5 individual rooms, all of which have a private bathroom. Each room has its own mini fridge plus a coffee maker and filters, coffee provided. Everything you want to see in the city is walkable from this location, and it felt very safe being next to a church where they host a children’s school. We enjoyed our vacation to celebrate my 50th birthday and we were 9 adults, no kids; this was the perfect place to celebrate together. There is a large bathtub in Room #5 but not a hot tub, everything else is exactly as described. Thank you for the hospitality and fantastic facilities, Juan Carlos!

We enjoyed our stay. Oaxaca is a beautiful city and the people are wonderful!

Fantastic location, just steps from the zocalo, but quiet too. The layout was more like a boutique hotel than a home. Each bedroom had a separate door and bathroom. The kitchen is small but has all the utensils needed to cook. The courtyard has a large dining table where it was warm enough to gather at night (no indoor living room). Overall, a lovely place for a Christmas holiday.

This house is great for large groups! You have five private bedrooms all with bathrooms, a small desk and closet and a coffee maker and a mini fridge. The house felt safe and private and Nina was wonderful! Another plus is that it is right next door to the church of Santo Domingo where you can find tons of delicious food right outside of the home. The house is only a block away from the town square! If you can, go try the Caldo de Piedra at El Chapulin! Great home and a great location.

Ideally located to visit Oaxaca. Five very comfortable bedrooms. Quiet patio. Right next door to the Zocalo and main market. Nina was charming and very helpful. Juan Carlos was very communicative from time pf booking until departure.

The location is great as well as the facilities. The only thing to note is that being so close to downtown there is quite a lot of noise and normal Oaxaca festivities include a lot of rockets. Fireworks end around 11pm.

This is the second time I stay at Juan Carlo’s place and I would return many times over. The location is incomparable and everything about our stay, from checking in, to safety and a pleasant stay were all excellent. Me siento como en casa. Highly recommended.

Great value and location. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Host was responsive to communication. Building and rooms were safe. No complaints. Fit our groups needs perfect. Would stay here again.

Great stay and hospitality! Every room had its own bathroom, iron, closet AC. Host was proactive and responsive. One thing we wish we had realized was that the only common space is in the courtyard and the table - outdoors though covered. Made it harder to socialize as a group but no complaints otherwise!

Location and individual private quarters were the most outstanding. Each bedroom was comfortable and well equipped even provided bottled water and a few soft drinks. Common area was our central gathering area with a cute “bar” area and courtyard bathroom. We did move long table into hall entryway when it rained which was still roomy. Housekeeper came every other day and was very thorough. Another plus - the corner street food stands were great!
