We absolutely loved our stay here. The villa was right off the beach in the north part of town which meant it was quiet and peaceful. The pool and villa itself were pristine and perfect for our family of 4. There were iguanas all around and monkeys in the surrounding trees. Hosts were super communicative and helpful. We will def look to return in the future!

My family of 5 absolutely loved our stay in this Santa Theresa Villa. The villa is beautifully appointed and the shared pool is kept clean and gorgeous. The host, Mauro, is incredibly responsive, friendly, and helpful. Each villa truly feels private. It may be helpful to know these details about the property: 1) It's past the paved road area of Santa Theresa, so ensure you have a 4WD vehicle. 2) The beach access is a public road/path, which goes right by/through THE BEST BEACHFRONT RESTAURANT, "Rocamar". They're not open every day, but if they are... GO! 3) There are two living spaces: the kitchen area and the front porch. Both are cosy and comfortable. It may be helpful to know before arriving. We would absolutely come back. This property was our favorite out of all the properties we stayed during our trip to this beautiful country.

We stayed at Villas Santa Teresa #3 and it was a wonderful experience from the start. The crew helped me months before we got there. Booking shuttles, Reiki healings and tours. They answered all my questions and helped me plan the best experience imaginable. Upon arrival the location was beautiful, tranquil and well taken care of. The cleaning crew were friendly and very accommodating. The villa itself was super clean, very comfortable and beyond peaceful. We will definitely be coming back again. Truly an amazing experience!!

We’ve just returned from a 3 week trip to Costa Rica and this was my favorite stay of the trip. The location is amazing, just off the beach (yet totally private) where I loved going for morning strolls to watch the surfers. Next to a great beachfront restaurant which we went many times during our stay. The pool is great for cooling off during the heat of the day when the beach is too warm. Andrea, the concierge is fantastic, so kind and responsive and nothing is too much trouble. She helped us organize surf lessons for our two daughters which they loved and checked in on us daily during our stay with great restaurant recs, such a special stay, we hope to be back someday!

Beautiful setting, easy walk to the gorgeous beach and restaurants Rocamar and Cafe Social. Enjoyed the shared pool and chatting with other guests. Kitchen was adequate (provided a few suggestions to the concierge), master bedroom comfortable with A/C and curtains, marvelously large tiled bathroom/shower area, loved eating at the outdoor dining table, great outdoor shower to rinse off sandy bodies, availability of bicycles with baskets, and semi-private villa. Tomas, our friendly concierge, was efficiently helpful in fixing problems or providing missing items, booking ATVs and canopy tours, and providing suggestions. Our friend who stayed in the second bedroom felt the beds were uncomfortable, but he has back issues. The side road in front of the villa is gravel which in the dry season, creates dust in the unit. The main road through the north end of Santa Teresa is also gravel, which is well travelled, extremely dusty and a bit dangerous to walk. One can walk the beach to access town

Host Response

Thank you very much for taking the time to share such a detailed and constructive review. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the surroundings, the easy walk to the beach and nearby restaurants, the shared pool, and the different spaces of the villa, as well as your experience with our concierge Tomás, to whom we will gladly pass along your kind words. We truly appreciate your suggestions regarding the kitchen and your comments about the beds, as this type of feedback helps us continue improving the experience for our guests. Regarding the dust and the gravel roads, we are happy to share that very soon the entire road in Santa Teresa North will be paved, which will eliminate these issues and make the area much more comfortable and safer for walking. We sincerely value your feedback and will keep it very much in mind as we continue to improve our services. We

Beautiful and so close to the beach! Very convenient stay.

I stayed with my 16 year old daughter for 10 days. The location is amazing. The staff were friendly and on point with everything. This villa is away from the hustle of “downtown”. The proximity to the beach is amazing. Rocamar and Cafe Social are very close and accommodated our needs. There are no shortage of food options in Santa Teresa. Being on the north end of town we found ourselves driving to playa hermosa a lot. The waves are much more friendly! Two great food spots there as well. Even further down the backroads there are more secluded beaches where it’s cooler to hangout because of the mountains and trees on the beach. We 10/10 recommend this villa.
