Great place right on the beach. Beach bar right next to it was also great. It was awesome having nothing between me and the ocean. Hearing the waves crash was so helpful to put me to sleep.

Great apartment and location, just steps away from the sand with a good beach view and the sound of the waves as a constant, relaxing background.

Beautiful condo…with a beautiful view of the ocean!

We had a really great 17 nights at Flor’s condo. Directions and instructions to get in were spot on, the place was clean and in a perfect location. Wifi worked great and the kitchen was well stocked to make it easy for lots of meals that we cooked in the apartment. Flor was a great communicator, always responding quickly days before we arrived with any questions that we had. We would recommend this condo to anyone wanting a perfect spot to explore the area and just chill on the beach and at the pool. Hope to someday return. Thanks for the great stay!!

I really enjoyed my stay in this location. Although I came through during the protest period, it didn't affect my stay on this lovely beach.

My husband and I were looking for beachfront, pool, fitness area, and good WiFi. As expected, a car was necessary to explore or get to a big grocery store. We taxied to the big grocery store 2 times in our 3 weeks here. We ate at 2 Nueva Gorgona restaurants and a beach bar right out our door. All were good. The local “mini supers” had the basics between trips. Flor rented us a van one weekend and we hiked one day and drove to El Valle de Anton the other. The apartment had all the essentials and the whole complex is neatly and beautifully kept. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a great and welcoming group that plays pickle ball M/W/F a few blocks away. We really enjoyed our time here and appreciate all the help and recommendations Flor gave us throughout our stay.

I have stayed here several times before. It is always very peaceful. There are restaurants and little markets within an easy walking distance. To venture out to surrounding areas taxi’s are readily available. For a great vacation I recommend Flor’s wonderful apartment.

I have extended my stay here twice. The location is perfect for my needs. Local markets are within walking distance. I sit on my balcony in the morning with my coffee and listen to the bill de chirping and the sound of the waves. It is very peaceful. I highly recommend Flor’s place.

This was my second stay at Flor’s place. It was as good as my first stay. Will stay here again.

Great place to stay!

The rooms were very spacious. The kitchen was well equipped and there were plenty of linens and towels. Great stay would highly recommend.

Flor’s place was absolutely amazing! The view from the apartment was to die for and the location could not have been any better. There were a good amount of restaurants in the town that were within walking distance as well as a few delicious beach bars as well. Flor’s communication was amazing and she always responded so quick. She also provided transportation from the airport to the apartment which was very helpful. The place was very clean and had all the amenities needed for an amazing stay. Overall I had a great time and would definitely recommend anyone to stay here! Thanks Flor!

Flor was an excellent host. She even arranged our transport to and from the airport! The beach was right outside our door and it was great. Walked a long sandy beach everyday. The pool and poolside area was well attended. The condo personal we’re helpful, friendly and conscientious. Flor has easy instructions and recommendations for the area. There are several walkable, local restaurants which are very good. The La Ruin, Torito’s and the Rincon Comacho. This was an excellent place to relax and enjoy the beach.

We spent 3 weeks at Playa Serena and we loved every minute of it. The apartment was perfect with a great view of the sea. I miss the constant sound of the waves. There was everything we needed at the appartment which is well laid out and spacious. Finding the apartment was easy and the drop box is a great idea. The beach is quiet and great for swimming, albeit a bit rough at times, and you can walk for miles at low tide. The security staff were always helpful and smiling. The town was quiet and safe. We sometimes walked to the restaurants at nighttime and felt safe. Flor was always on hand to help and answer questions if needed and was very responsive. Thanks Flor! We would certainly like to stay at the appartment again in the future.

This is a gem! I cannot wait to return. The view is absolutely breathtaking. The building is well situated and the road is so easy to get to it. The unit is perfect, WIFI is super fast, loved the Apple TV and the furniture is so comfortable. The unit has a good breeze so it’s not always necessary to use the Air Conditioner. Thank you Flor.

We had a lovely time at Flor’s apartment! It really is a little paradise! I loved the view, the sound of the ocean, the fact that we were within 20 meters of the beach and the people in the building were super nice and take really good care of the place and the gardens. Check in is easy with the lock box, and they have a cart over there for your luggage. The apartment has everything you need; spacious bed room, and the most relaxing decliners in the living room. I had to work, the WiFi was perfect. Security is at the beach and no one gets in who does not belong there. Next door is the Bahia beach bar which was perfect, we could walk over there and enjoy the sunset with a cocktail and good food, while our dog played in the sand. The bar is open 4 days and there is some music, but it did not bother at all. Something I double checked with Flor as I had to work that week, it was no problem. Flor was a great host, quick to reply and super friendly. We’ll be coming back for sure, I can highly recommend this place!

Perfect place to relax. Close to the ocean, very well equipped kitchen and fast wifi. Big rooms, good AC and nice pool. Totally recommended!

Just wow . The beach house was really nice pretty private to me and waking up to the ocean sound in the morning is all I need to start my busy day . Flor is an awesome quick respond host very patient and understanding she made our stay very easy and hassle free and the house guide too was a plus. It really is an apartment that is clean and smelly , everything inside the well-kept apartment, the location of the apartment to beach is right there and that is perfect, the night relaxed enjoying the sound of the waves. I love it and perfect for a couple, I would definitely come back.

You will love this beach condo. It is literally on the beach. Ground floor. I felt extremely safe with the 24 hour gated security at both entrances to this wonderful property.

Without words, if you want to sleep lulled by the waves of the sea and go out in the morning to the terrace to watch the sunrise this is the place.

Wonderful location. Beautiful view with the sounds of the ocean right at the apartment. All the areas are very clean and well kept. Residents we met were met were super friendly and welcoming as were the staff. Pool was always clean. Flor was extremely quick to respond and helpful. Highly recommend!

An excellent choice for vacation, if you like to sleep with the sound of the sea, the east is the place. Very quiet, well preserved and equipped. The common areas in a super good condition. I highly recommend it

Fully equipped apartment home in a quiet area directly on the sandy beach of Nueva Gorgona, and great value for the money

What a gorgeous location! You can't get any closer to the beach than this unit in the south tower! So relaxing to listen to the waves and have your morning coffee on the balcony! The beach in front of Playa Serena building is also really nice compared to some of the other areas. The only thing to be aware of is that the TV in the living room doesn't work so you will have to watch TV in the bedroom only. The wifi was great so we were able to work with no problems. There were a couple of items missing from the unit and Flor was quick to get them for us. Thanks for a great stay Flor! We hope to come back next year!

I have mixed emotions about writing really positive reviews about airbnb rentals: other venues I have rated highly quickly became unavailable and much more expensive. But Flor deserves the best review I can give. This apartment is excellent for one or two guests. “Beach front paradise” is not an exaggeration. This apartment is RIGHT on the beach. I mean 60 feet from the water at high tide. Miles of black sand beach in either direction from the apartment. The sound of the waves at night is better than a shot of brandy for a good night’s sleep. The apartment is clean, quiet, and well-appointed with new stove, refrigerator, and washer/dryer combo. Of course there is wifi and satellite tv. Plenty of towels and sheets. The apartment staff is friendly and helpful. A word about the location. The apartment is located in a part of Nueva Gorgona called Playa Serena. There is not much else there except other beach resort hotel/condos and local private residences. Other than local convenience stores there is no shopping, dining, etc in walking distance from the apartment. In short, for shopping, dining, banking, or healthcare, you will need to go to Coronado. Coronado is about a 10 minute taxi ride which will cost $3-$5 depending on the time of day. The apartment staff will call a taxi for you and sometimes drive you where you want to go. Rental cars are available in Coronado. I am thinking I will get a bicycle when I go back. Nueva Gorgona is about 80 km (50 miles) from Panama city. You can reach Neuva Gorgona from Panama city by commuter bus for only $2.50. The bus leaves from Albrook terminal. But, Ms. Flor will arrange private transportation directly to the apartment if you want. I chose this option to avoid the hassle of getting from the airport (on the opposite side of the city) to Albrook terminal and riding a commuter bus with luggage to an unknown destination. I also had the driver stop at a (super) market on the way so I could get a few items. Lastly, let me say a few words about Ms. Flor. Ms. Flor is an excellent host. She responds to communications within minutes. She is quite knowledgeable about the area and very attentive to her guests. You could not ask for a better host.

What an amazing find! This condo was perfect, right on the beach and close to lots of restaurants and groceries and very safe and secure. We had everything we needed to feel at home. The place was spotless, well equipped, and the view outside everyday was incredible. Even better, the beach had black sand, which was a great surprise! The pool and common areas were always clean and available. We felt so at home. Flor was super helpful and gave great recommendations. The next time we are in Panama, we will definitely stay here again.

This apartment is definitely a jewel. The pictures do not do it justice. Everything about this property is more than we could have hoped. The unit is absolute ocean front with expansive views from both the living area and the bedroom. It is located directly in front of one of the most beautiful areas of Gorgona beach. This property is a part of Playa serena resort. The people that manage the complex are all very friendly and there is just enough social interaction with other guests to make you feel very comfortable. It is also important to state that staying at this particular property also offered much rest and relaxation. Everything in the condo was brand new. Flor was a perfect host and it was very comforting to have someone so readily accessible. We were also very grateful that our speaking only English never posed any barrier. I highly highly recommend this property and very much look forward to coming back for a more extensive stay. Thank you again Flor. Brit B.
