Love this town and La Mision de Mita was the perfect place to stay with our kids. Shelly and Todd communicated very well and even helped coordinate some equipment/gear rental for us.

Wonderful stay at Todd and Shelley’s pristine penthouse condo. It’s massive, with three en suite bedrooms, laundry, and large tv/ rec room on 4th floor. Living and kitchen, along with additional sleeping area and bathroom on 5th floor, with amazing views. Patios galore, with plenty of comfortable seating to enjoy the sun and views of mountains, ocean, and surfers catching waves. Surfing right there, just a quick walk away, with awesome waves. Pool and building is beautiful. Very well maintained common grounds. Water for the building is filtered, which is a nice bonus. Walkable to lots of restaurants. Cool pet rescue down the road and next door to a lot with a horse and donkeys. Lots of birds, iguanas, and whales for the nature/animal lovers. Friendly people there- both renters and owners. Great vibes. Gracious hosts who made sure we were nicely set up for a wonderful vacation. Thanks Todd and Shelley!!

The condo was great. Plenty of room, multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, TV's, a fully stocked kitchen, great view etc. The complex is excellently maintained and very clean, The pool is great - water was warm and the spa was hot. There are plenty of lounge chairs, a place to shower off after going to the beach, an outdoor kitchen and a roof top lounge area. I give the condo and complex 5 stars. The town is quaint and easy to navigate. It is a typical Mexican village - not real clean, but the people are friendly, there is great food and walking around at most hours of the day were not a problem. There are two surf breaks with in a very short walk of the condo. During my stay, the surf was small and slow there, but awesome warm water. There are a few other breaks in the area that you can drive to or hire a panga to. They were a lot of fun- bigger waves and more consistent. There are also a lot of great boards to rent (WildMex had the best selection) if you dont want to bring one.

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is lovely, spacious, and the views are beautiful. There was plenty of room for eight of us and the beds were super comfortable with luxurious bedding. The apartment is walkable to many restaurants, small grocery stores, the beach, and two surf breaks. The pool area is gorgeous and has plenty of shade. I highly recommend this property and would love to come back.

We love staying in La Mision. This is our second time staying in this unit, and we love it.

Shelly’s condo was amazing - very spacious, wonderful views, great location, comfy linens. She provided a beach umbrella, chairs, and tons of towels - which was a huge plus. Her directions and suggestions were thoughtfully put together in a nice document, which we referenced many times. The AC was perfect - tons of units and worked very well. She was also super responsive anytime we had trouble or questions. We would love to stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay in this spot. The building was clean and well cared for. Everyone was friendly and the balcony was a beautiful addition for us.

Place was great, location was perfect. The pool was amazing and the grounds were so clean. The condo did have a very bad smell of septic and would come and go throughout our stay..

This was our third year staying in this complex. We just love La Mision. The complex is safe and has such a lovely pool. Our family of 7 fit nicely and we all had space if we needed it. We felt like we were staying in someone's actual home and not just a rental. Having the deck to enjoy our coffee and relax was such a treat. Shelly and Todd were responsive when we needed to communicate with them. We took them up on some of their dining recommendations and they did not disappoint! It was fun to experience some new restaurants we hadn't been to in the past. We look forward to returning!

A perfect spot for a perfect vacation. This was our family's second December in Punta de Mita, and our first staying at Todd & Shelly's and it was ideal. Staying here has you RIGHT in the middle of it all -- close to all the things you want to be close to (beach, street taco spots, fancier "restaurant row"), but also very much an oasis from it all. It's a perfect and rare combo for Mita, well worth the price. The pool/hot tub is a game changer especially for our kiddos, and the penthouse itself is spacious with immaculate sunrise/sunset views, lots of comfy beds and seating options. 100/100 from us!

Unmatched location. VERY spacious. We were six and never felt cramped. Private. Quiet (except at night but nothing to do with Shelly’s place, just some creatures croaking about 😊). Beautiful. Tastefully decorated. Had all the amenities one could want/need. Water pressure wasn’t excellent but that’s a reality of Punta Mita generally. Had one glitch and the building fixed it promptly. Really great place. Entry to the best part of the Ocean right outside their back door. We had a fantastic stay and would stay here again.

The high-speed Wi-Fi was reliable, ensuring we could stay connected and share our adventures with friends

Shelly’s place was incredible! Beautiful, comfortable, and spotless. Amazing ocean views. The pool at the condo was so fun for the kids and perfect for morning lap swims. The beach is right across the street and so convenient. Her place is well stocked for the beach! There are many balconies to enjoy the outdoors while relaxing at the unit. It’s a nice quiet and secure complex with friendly families. Easy walk to restaurant row and there are also some nice places to eat right out the door. The property manager was so responsive and helped us set up taxi rides. We’ll be back!

There aren't enough words to describe how beautiful and peaceful this condo is. It exceeded all our expectations. The bedrooms were spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. There were 3 couples and we all had our own bathrooms with Shampoo, Conditioner and Body wash, way more than we expected! The deck had an amazing view and in the distance we could see the humpback whales breaching. The common upper deck had a 360 degree view and one evening we watched the sun set and the moon rise, truly amazing. The pool was warm and there were lots of loungers to lay in. Shelly left us a book with lots of information and we took advantage of her restaurant suggestions. They didn't disappoint. I would definitely return to Punta de Mita and for sure stay at this condo if we were a big group again.

Hello World, our family plus couple of boyfriends lol.. totalling 6 spent two weeks during xmas and new years. Firstly communication with Shelly prior to check in was perfect, check in simple. Condo is well laid out bedrooms are perfect comfy beds on-suites in each bedroom which is very nice. Upstairs kitchen huge living room and beautiful deck with outstanding views. Beach across the street great waves for surfing and playing around. Please when you stay explore out the front door and find many hidden gems be it small coffee shops stores bakeries etc. Practice your spanish be friendly and you will make a few new friends.!! Very nice pool as well and very safe for kids.!! Highly recommended!!!

Our group of 5 really enjoyed our stay at Shelly's place in Punta de Mita. There was plenty of space and the location is perfect for beach / restaurant access. Four of us worked remotely during the week and the Wi-Fi held up very well, though the signal upstairs was a bit weak for video calling. We especially loved the building's rooftop patio for sunset cocktails as well as the hot tub to warm up after surfing. I would definitely stay here again!
