3BR Condo in Nuevo Vallarta

Alex

Good, 4 months ago

The villa is in a wonderful location — away (and quiet) from the busy town center but less than a 10 minute walk via the road or the beach. Great coffee shop and restaurant both within a 1 minute walk which is great for a convenient easy morning. The outdoor patio is lovely and the big living room is nice to hang out in. While we very much appreciated the charm of the original villa (and is why we chose this place), it could use some small updates to make the place feel a bit more up to date (fixing the door frame in the twin bedroom as there is a gap that lets in outside air and noise, closed-lid trash cans in the bathrooms given the plumbing restrictions, new bed and bathroom linens). If you are an international traveler unfamiliar with Mexico, note that many towns/old homes do not have plumbing to support toilet paper. This is the case here. Just something to note. Overall the host was very responsive and we enjoyed our stay in Sayulita :)

Wonderful spot. Perfect neighborhood, accessible to everything. While there is some road noise during the day we found it to be very quiet at night. Our hosts provided wonderful recommendations throughout the city and helped us acquire a golf cart rental which was very helpful during our stay. Laundry within the unit was extremely useful with kids. The little outdoor balcony feels like the best tree fort. We loved Sayulita and would stay here again in a second!

This was the perfect place for our family to stay for vacation. The twin bed room was great for our 5 and 3 year olds. There were AC units and fans to keep us cool. Beds were comfy! The condo is spacious. We loved sitting on the outdoor covered patio. The pool was perfect for swimming, and it was just a short path through the beautiful complex to get to the beach. We had everything we needed from extra bedding to coffee, beach towels, beach chairs, and games. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware and Tupperware. There is a convenient washer and dryer. The only thing to note is that the bar across the street is occasionally loud in the evening, but it wasn’t a big deal. Our hosts communicated very well and everything was so easy and smooth. We loved popping into the little market next door to grab drinks and snacks. Very walkable area!

We all loved staying at Casa Las Olas! Beautiful Mexican styled casita in walking distance to amazing beaches, bars and restaurants and just a 10 min walk from the center of Sayulita. Great living space, hammock on the balcony and great outdoor seating under the Palapas for evening drinks and relaxation. 2 pools to take a dip into and take the provided beach chairs and surf boards to beach which is a 2 min walk through the other casitas. Well appointed in the casa and a variety of great restaurants just steps away. Loved it and will be back.

Wonderful home for a family stay. Very large living and dining area as well as good outdoor space. Well equipped for cooking simple meals and cocktail making. Plenty of amenities provided in the home and for the beach. Easy walk to the beach and in to town. The front bedrooms were a little loud at night from traffic, but could be drowned out with a sound machine. The hosts responsiveness and communication were outstanding! They were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

The location is great especially with kids. It can be noisy on the street side (smaller 2 bedrooms) but our kids used sound machines and had no problem sleeping. The king bed was comfy! The pools and beach access are great! The hosts are very responsive and set up a what’s app group a few days before arrival to make sure we had everything we needed and booked some last minute requests for us which was amazing given the holidays. At the beach there is a little bar that has drinks and snacks if needed. They also suggested Allycat for whale watching and snorkeling and we had a great day! Overall very happy with the stay!

Communicative, responsive hosts for a nice home in an even nicer property alongside the beach, however the home could use some minor repairs/updates and two of three bedrooms overlook a busy, loud street with a school and restaurants. I enjoyed my time but would not recommend this house for light sleepers, those who want to cook at home, or those who dislike bugs and lizards in the house. Those seeking a quiet escape from the hustle of Sayulita should pass on this location.

Host Response

Thanks so much for all your feedback Adam, it really helped us to get all the little details dialed and tuned up for the season. We are sorry you had a noisy experience but indeed, Sayulita is a busy, rural, seaside, mexican town and unfortunately ( or fortuantely for those ones who love the folk) there is wild life and noise all around. We hope over all your experience was amazing. Take care and hope to have you in Sayulita again soon!

All I can say is wow! The host was extremely responsive and helped me plan out all my birthday activities. I’ve never had a host go above and beyond for us to have a great stay. The place was in town so we were close to all of the attractions Sayulita has to offer. Thank you for making my 30th birthday unforgettable. The place was clean and had all the amenities working in top condition. It was also super close to the beach and had a beautiful pool to relax. It felt very private as well 😌 100 stars

This lovely beach bungalow exceeded my expectations! It was spotlessly clean and very cute inside. I loved the high ceilings and the chic thatched terrace overlooking the pool. It was a nice touch to have beach chairs, boogie boards, and a surfboard for guests to use. We also appreciated that there was bottled water and coffee waiting for us! I loved the location - just a short walk down the beach to the surf spot and main part of town, but just far enough away to be peaceful and quiet. We were three girls staying on our own, and the complex was lovely with two pools and direct beachfront access, and it felt very safe. I highly recommend this rental and would love to stay here again on my next visit to Sayulita!

This place was spacious and in a great location (a short walk to the beach for a 2 year old, two great swimming pools and walkable into town)! It is on a very noisy road and this was bothersome during the night. Los Delfines is a great complex, but a unit further away from the road would be quieter. The restaurant across the street has live music but it ends by 10 pm. The negative about this particular unit is that it needs maintenance. The washing machine was not working. Danny arranged for a laundromat to pick up our laundry but this was not as convenient. There was a bad smell coming from the master ensuite bathroom sink, the kitchen sink drain leaked and the main bathroom shower head dripped. Danny arranged the airport transfer but on the way back, we wanted to do a drop off at the airport and one in town. We got charged for the extra distance into town $100.00 CAD (airport to town...a cab is $20. CAD). We weren't told this up front--no explanation came.

Host Response

Hi Tyla, thanks for your awsome feedback! Already fixed leaky shower and sink! It was very unfortunate that the washing machine broke down before your stay :( sorry the service we arranged and paid for wasn't as convenient, we understand :) In regards to the transportation, we are really sorry for the miscommunication, we thought you would have arranged the price before getting the extra service as it was something that was added to what we originally quoted just to the airport. They really offer a fantastic luxury service and unfortunately their prices aren't the same as an airport taxi :( Despite this hiccups, we hope you had an amazing time and we look forward to hosting you again in the future :)

My family and I loved our stay. The location is excellent - not in the super busy part of town but close enough to walk everywhere including the beach, coffee shops, restaurants, golf cart rental places, shopping. The house was very comfortable and the host was attentive to any questions or minor issues we had. There is a school/camp across the street which does mean kid sounds and music at times, but it was not bothersome to us. We used the pool quite a bit, and overall it was just a great home base. We had a rental car for getting to and from the airport and some day trips out of town, but when in town we walked or used a golf cart, which was very handy. If you want to cook I recommend buying groceries before you get into town as there are really just corner markets that are mostly snacks. Some favorite local restaurants/cafes of ours: Chaman, Northside Cafe, Anchor Cafe, Sur38, El Tiburón, Naty’s tacos, and Achara.

We've enjoyed it all, and everything has been so wonderful. We very much hope to be able to come back again and would definitely recommend it. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

This place is truly a Gem!!! First of all we love Sayulita and we are repeat visitors. The whole town is full of wonderful people and a lot of English speaking locals and tourist always eager to help! The condominium is Beautiful and dreamy, perfect for the beach getaway. The pools and the grounds are wonderfully kept up and we felt very safe. The community is close to everything. You can walk right up to the beach, there’s a cool little hidden bar right next to the complex. They have a stand with delicious & authentic food plus the bar owners are friendly Ex Pats and make delicious drinks! Down the road is a little store that has food essentials and the North side cafe has my favorite Chilaquiles & bottom Frozen coffee iced coffee with caramel! A must try. We rented a golf cart from Gaby’s rentals and we were able to negotiate a good price for our stay. I do recommend you rent one to get around town. The AC units are a big Plus, and got nice and cool.! Stay here, you will LOVE IT! 😍

It is such a cute little casa that was perfect for our birthday celebration with 4 ladies. The place was very clean, with comfortable couches and great amenities (beach chairs, umbrella etc). Coté is super friendly, helpful and responsive. She helped us arrange for our airport transport and private chef booking. Lovely pool and short walk to the beach and town with restaurants, shops and surf schools. Highly recommended!

Our new home away from home. Nestled perfectly among palm trees and a short walk to the beach and center of town. This was recommended to us by family and I understand why. Cote and the entire host team were AMAZING at making sure we had everything we needed. The beds were the best we've ever had while traveling and it was so nice for our family to have a place to refresh and rest between activities. It was just enough away from the main road that nightlife wasn't too intrusive. It was lovely to have all the amenities of home like washer/dryer and beach accessories to make our stay simply perfect. The coffee station was perfect, too! I would definitely stay here again and incorporate more time to lounge in the heated pools and sway in the hammock. Very friendly area and each unit was extremely private. The pictures are accurate but honestly, it's better in person!! 🩵💙

Coté, Halo and Danny were extremely helpful the whole process up to arrival, and even after departure they helped with shuttle to another place and transportation to airport. Great attention to detail. Very patient and kind. Gracias The two pools were just perfect. My grandson loved being able to pick between pool one or pool two. Easy access to beach. One night we heard great music from Chaman's restaurant. Loved having grocery delivery before we arrived, such a treat!. Señora Laura was very communicative regarding groceries. Washer and dryer really helpful. Thanks for all the support ladies, you are all just the best people. Can't wait to be back in Sayulita.

This is our fifth time in Sayulita and by far the favorite place we've stayed so far! it's tucked in the northern part of town just past the school where it's quiet at night but still just a few blocks away from town when you want to check out the restaurants and nightlife. The direct beach access is amazing, the pools offer a place to cool off in privacy and the space itself was beautiful / cozy. I saw some reviews that were concerned about noise but we had no concerns with that during our stay - truly the perfect spot to stay in Sayulita!

This place was amazing and I will book another stay in the future. The home was exactly as it was represented in the photos. The complex it's located in feels very safe and clean, and it's located so close to the beach! Halo, Danny, and Paul were such amazing hosts. A week before we arrived, they reached out with suggestions for transportation and activities in the area. They also contacted us after we arrived to make sure that we had what we needed. I would recommend Casa Olas to anyone visiting Sayulita.

This place is loud! The unit is on the edge of the complex, 20 feet from a three way intersection. A restaurant 100 feet away had live music 4 of the 8 nights we stayed there. And late, loud music means loud drunk people. The complex may be nice but this unit feels like it is in the city versus next to the ocean. The third bedroom's bed was pretty uncomfortable and my daughter slept on the couch for the stay. There are a lot of beautiful, better value places on the North Side, especially if you want to be near the beach. The host was easy to communicate with and there is a comfortable outdoor space.

Lovely casa! Wonderful pool right outside your door, reasonably complete kitchen ( although some pots and pans show their age) and location is near town so good restaurants are near by. Only real complaint is noise volume from street right in front of the casa. Windows are nearly useless to keep the outside sound of cement trucks and motor cycles from interfering with sleep in front two smaller bedrooms. Master bedroom is fine but if there’s more than one couple staying there, someone won’t get much sleep.

Perfect place to relax. Quiet area. Easy access to beach. Walking distance into town. Comfortable beds. Rooms got cold at night when AC was left on. House had playing cards and a few games. Full stock of sunblock and sun tan lotion, so leave space in your suitcase to buy beautiful handmade souvenirs from the local markets.

We've traveled here a few times now and this is by far my favorite spot we've stayed. I love that was far enough from the center of town that it was peaceful and quiet, so close to our favorite beach, and walkable to anything we wanted to do. The listing was exactly (even better) than described and offered everything we needed and more. Hosts were incredibly responsive and coordinated our seamless transportation to and from the airport. I also appreciated how minimal and clean everything was. I highly recommend staying her for a girls trip or family trip :) Thanks so much for such a lovely stay!

Our family truly enjoyed our stay! We visited during the off season so the surroundings were quite peaceful though the weather was very hot + humid. The AC and and fan in the bedroom offered a nice reprieve and the pool certainly did as well. The hosts' communications were exceptional and we felt very comfortable and supported. We only used one room and the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was well kept and super clean, and the kitchen seemed to have everything you would want though we didn't use it as anticipated. The screens on the windows were appreciated and we didn't see one bug in the house despite leaving some doors open for air flow. With the heat this time of year and because we had a toddler, walking to town or restaurants wasn't an option so we greatly appreciated the rental of the golf cart to zip around. That said, there was a nice bar/ restaurant right across the street and a few more options within blocks Highly recommend! Thank you!

We loved this villa! It was perfect for our family of 4 and we loved the private outdoor sitting area! Having use to the washer/dryer was super helpful and we appreciated the beach chairs and towels! The walk to the beach was easy and location to restaurants, stores, etc was perfect. We liked being on the North Side (quiet side). Definitely rent a golf cart for getting around and check out Chaman Creative Kitchen across the street! Halo and Danny were our contacts while in Sayulita and they were extremely helpful and responsive!

Absolutely loved our stay. We had stayed in this same development before and knew that the location was perfect but this unit was well situation on the second floor, giving great views, and very nicely updated. The pool was great and it was actually more fun to share with the 2 or 3 other units. We made friends with several of our neighbors and had a blast. For anyone new to Sayulita, this is the best location in town and we always try to stay in this neighborhood. It is close enough to be a convenient walk but far enough from town to not get the all night noise. The beach is a quick stroll through the complex and there are some great little restaurants within a stones throw.

Stayed with my family for a few days and the Airbnb was amazing! Very roomy and had lots of amenities including items we weren’t expecting like sunblock and sunburn gel. The house is equipped with everything a family will need for a beach day including beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels, and boogie boards which are essential as Sayulita is excellent for body boarding. Halo and Danny were very accommodating. We requested a golf cart (also essential) and they delivered it to the Airbnb. We were very comfortable. We’d definitely stay again!

What a beautiful home! We felt so incredibly grateful for absolutely everything. The property has two pools and is in close proximity to the beach and the town center, therefore the location was really nice and quiet. There really is no need for a golf cart, we went everywhere on foot. The home was on the second floor and felt really private. There is a place across the street called Chaman and they had live music for a few nights. We really loved that we could hear it from our place and it didn't bother us at all as it never ran late anyway. Each room has an air conditioner which was really nice for the really hot days. There were so many areas in the home where we as a group could spend time together but also spend time individually. Danny and Cote helped us secure transportation to and from PV and a cook for dinner and breakfast. We loved the cook so much that we asked her to meet up with us for lunch, she had incredible energy! It was a great time and I couldn't have asked for more

The condo is nicely appointed. We were comfortable the whole time. The manager was highly responsive and we used her recommendations for dinners and surfing-pleased the whole time. Definitely rent the golf cart so you can see more of town on the trip. It’s close to town so if you are looking for silence, this isn’t the place, but if you are looking for a balance of access to beach, town, and restaurants-perfect! We loved the school across the street and seeing the culture. It’s not a perfect new build and that was just fine for us and we felt comfortable. We often had the pools to ourselves. Chaman restaurant right next to it has great food especially for us as vegetarians. Chaman also has soothing live music at night which we enjoyed from the beautiful patio. We had the host arrange the car service and it was super smooth and they took us to a grocery on our way. We can’t wait to go back.

Fantastic location and hosts! Cote, Danny and Halo made our trip beyond wonderful! Not only was the Airbnb easy to access, but they made every moment along our trip perfect along the way- from car services, groceries, tips around town, and the best massage services experienced, every detail was tended to during our trip. Cannot recommend this location and all of the kind, incredible services enough. Highly recommend!!

Absolutely beautiful condo in a quieter part of Sayulita still within walking distance to the town Center. Furnishings are comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach as well as close proximity to pool. The palapa was a wonderful space to gather every night after the kids are asleep. We stayed here with 4 adults and 2 children (grandparents included) and it was very spacious. Hosts were very responsive and easy to communicate with .Will absolutely be back!

The condo is in a good location, a short walk from the sea, close to downtown. The accommodation is spacious: living area, multiple balconies, large bedroom, large dining room table. We were 2 families with 2 children and had enough space to accommodate everyone’s activities. The equipment provided is adequate (beach chairs, parasol, baby furniture, water dispenser, gas stove, etc.). A few more pans would be useful for those who want to eat at home often. The hosts are available and respond very quickly to any requests. The only drawback is the noise. Two of the three bedrooms are located on the street side. Some nights, there is quite a bit of foot traffic, which can be disruptive for light sleepers. In our case, it was a nuisance, but nothing to spoil the enjoyment of our vacation. We would come back without hesitation.

The best location! Loved having the beach right there. It is a quieter part of town (which we preferred) but not too long to walk in. Lots of restaurants close by as well as access to jungle trails. Great space, loved the margarita station, the hammock and palapa. If you are looking to cook the kitchen supplies are disappointing. The grounds are beautiful and well taken care of. The ground crew is super responsive and helpful if you need anything. They were prompt getting a super dull knife sharpened for us. The pull out twin mattress was brutal, they got us a memory foam topper for it. Appreciated how great they were to resolve things fast. Overall, would recommend staying here!

Believe the pictures, but be ready to be wowed when you walk through the door. Beautifully appointed, open and well-lit, spotlessly clean and with just about every need anticipated. The space inside and out is delightful. Coté and her team of concierges and local contacts made everything easy from start to finish. Every interaction was a pleasure whenever I reached out for some unexpected need. These nice people helped me find solutions, then followed up to make sure everything went right. The whole town is within easy walking distance, but far enough away so the hustle and bustle isn’t intrusive. Yes, there’s a school across the street, but it’s fairly quiet, as schools go. Some nights, the bar nearby had live music that made good listening while we lounged in our elevated palapa. We were stoked on our last night to find out we could book another night - we just didn't want to leave - and we're already planning our next trip back! 😀🤙🏼☀️

We enjoyed our stay at cote’s place. The location is perfect, quieter side of the beach and a short walk into town. There is a wonderful outdoor patio for relaxing that looks down onto pool. Everything we needed in the kitchen, lots of towels provided and super comfy beds and pillows. One note: late sleepers will be happier in back bedroom as grade school across the street has lots of music and happy kids in the mornings : ) We hope to be back next year and will be happy to stay again!!

This was one of the best AirBnB experiences we’ve ever had. The hosts are responsive, helped us book activities, and were super helpful when answering questions and booking transportation. We felt like we had a personal concierge! The accommodations are also fantastic. The space is very clean, super comfortable, and the hammock and palapa off the living room are great places to relax. It’s also just steps to the beach, but a quiet part of the beach. There is a great beach hike only 10 minutes up the beach to the north and it was fun to do in the morning before breakfast. Overall, really wonderful place and hosts. Thank you!!

We had a wonderful stay in this spacious home. It’s in a great spot in north sayulita, the complex is on the beach, and it has 2 pools. The unit has a great outdoor lounge area and also a private hammock. It is also fully stocked with helpful gear - beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, a surf board, cocktail making equipment and even things like sun cream and fiction books. The host was always responsive and helpful along the way. Highly recommend.

An amazing trip with our family to Sayulita. The condo was beautifully decorated. Great proximity to the beach as well as easy to walk into town. A school right across the street which made you feel at home and safe. The pool was great. Communication was great. Would highly recommend.

This is an ideal rental for mixed generation families or friend groups or a larger family. We came with grandparents and our toddler. It was perfect! The pools are great for young kids and the beach is a short stroll down the complex path. I prefer this north side of Sayulita as well. It’s also very close to a number of good restaurants, golf cart rentals, the Mercado, and beach massage stands. The kitchen is well stocked with pots/pans and Tupperware. The patio is a great place to relax and the beds are all very comfortable. The bedroom ac units work very very well. We would cool the room and then turn off for the night and the room stayed perfect. I anticipate we will be back!

Absolutely gorgeous home with the best host communication I've experienced. Cote made our check-in process flawless, and responded to my needs (whether it was helping book an excursion or other requests) very quickly. We loved hanging out on the circular outdoor deck (we did so in the pouring rain which made for a magical experience with the thatched roof and outdoor lighting), loved the interior decorations and appreciated being a close walk to town and beachside.

Really incredible Airbnb!! The decor is so well done and the hammock outside was everything! This is in a perfection location of sayulita on the north end away from the madness of town and the beach right in front of this condominium was so much more calm and enjoyable. She even provided beach chairs as well! One thing I didn’t know about sayulita was that with the city’s septic systems you cant flush toilet paper so that was new to me and a little bit of an experience with our group of 5 haha but the Airbnb had the cleaners come half way through our trip to help :) one thing to note is that the AC units are only in the bedrooms not in the house itself which seems to be common for sayulita but good to note. Also renting a golf cart is a must have to save your feet from the walking into town! Definitely walkable but after a few days of it your feet would probably tire out. You can also get into town by walking the beach the whole way which was a vibe as well :) overall would absolutely recommend this place to stay at!!

This is in a location. Very short gold cart rude to town but still had plenty of food options just a minutes walk away. Quick out to the beach directly in front of the condos. The only downside was not having a TV or air conditioning in the main room (living/dining/kitchen). The had a/c and were pleasantly cool. We eventually acclimated to the warm temp in the main room, but it was still unpleasant at times. We couldn't leave the doors open because we were alive by mosquitoes. Bring good bug spray because the stuff in town doesn't work well. I would definitely stay here again. We loved it. Easy communication, very clean, great location, we felt very safe.
