Incredible view! Pictures don’t do justice! Home is lovely and clean. Both bedrooms have great view. Loved the indoor/outdoor shower looking over the ocean. Saw monkeys each morning and other wildlife. Elle checked us in and helped us throughout our stay. She’s wonderful—friendly, attentive and helpful! Couldn’t ask for a better experience. Thanks Elle for sharing your home with us!

Tim was a fantastic host. He has stocked the house with all of the amenities you’d expect in a nice hotel room. Super responsive and proactive. The location is very peaceful. Morning coffee outside listening to the birds was delightful

An absolute gem!!!!! We could not have asked for more. Amazing place, secluded and private but close to everything. Best part, the outdoor shower. We couldn’t have enough of that.

We spent the last three nights of our 10-day Costa Rican adventure at Tim's house and it was nothing short of magical. When you picture a private jungle oasis in a tropical location, this is it! From the open air living and sleeping spaces, to the pool overlooking the Pacific, to the A+ bird watching available right from your bedroom balcony, all of it was a dream. Tim's co-host Elle was amazingly proactive, helpful, and friendly from the moment we made the reservation. She had wonderful tips for excursions, restaurants, safe beaches, shopping, and was extremely responsive to every question we sent during the course of our trip. The house was clean, beautiful, and comfortable. Renters should be aware that the drive in, particularly at night, is a bit harrowing, and is definitely best done with 4WD. Well worth it for the final destination, however! Highly recommend this property and hope to return some day!

We stayed there as a family and had a very nice time. Everything was spotlessly clean and tidy, and we would come back anytime. Looking forward to staying at the house again next time.

We had a great stay here with our family of four. Elle was a wonderful host — welcoming, kind, and always available if we needed anything. The home was clean and comfortable, and we especially appreciated the large fans and the cross breeze through the main living space, which kept everything cool. A few of the window screens were missing during our stay due to replacements being on order, but it didn’t impact our comfort and wasn’t an issue for us. We loved the beautiful views and enjoyed having coffee on the balcony each morning. The pool was a highlight — our kids had an absolute blast. One thing to note for future guests: the road leading up to the house is quite rough, and a 4x4 is definitely needed. We had one and were fine, but recent rain seemed to make it a bit rockier than usual. Overall, a very enjoyable stay, and we’d happily return.

Tim's place was outstanding. If you get the chance to stay there, do. It was simply amazing. The pool, the space, the beds, and of course, the unbelievable views from the 2 massive balconies. Tim was a wonderful, friendly and very helpful host. I just cannot recommend this place enough, it was the highlight of our holiday in Costa Rica. Thanks Tim, pura vida.

We had a great stay at Casa Flores. Both Tim and Elle were amazing host. From helping book tours (Sierpe River Mangrove trip is a must), suggesting restaurants and beaches, picking up groceries and providing overall tips for the area. House offers a beautiful setting, amazing views, refreshing pool and good, safe space for a family of 4 or two couples. Couple of small things need attention (window screens, ceiling fans and tv) but none of them took away from our stay. The road up to the house isn’t bad if you have a 4x4. Would definitely stay at Casa Flores again!

This place was spectacular. The view is 100% worth the stay. I loved waking up and being able to see out into the ocean during sunrise. We loved how clean and natural everything felt. Definitely would love to come back and enjoy the pool a bit more!

Everything was amazing. Tim was incredibly friendly and informative through the whole process…from when we were booking, arriving and offering great suggestions during our stay. The place itself was the perfect space to relax, enjoy nature, incredible views and sunsets. Had everything needed to feel at home. Will be coming back for sure

We so enjoyed our stay at Casa Flores- the views were amazing and the location was private and safe. Elle, our host, gave us a tour on our arrival and was very responsive during our stay. As others mentioned- the drive up the mountain is a little daunting, but if you have 4x4 it is doable. Our family of 5 finished our trip here and it was a great way to wind down from a busy trip and truly relax.

The view is amazing. Such a special spot. The architecture is exceptional. Highly recommend!!
