We stayed here with our 6 children. Plenty of space for us. We loved the atmosphere of the property and the home. It’s right in the center of everything but with great privacy. We don’t have a car so it was a perfect place for us. You do hear music from the clubs at night until about midnight but we got used to it. If you’re a light sleeper, it’s not a good fit for you. If you like authenticity, a unique place and close walking distance to everything then it’s a great place. We absolutely loved being close to the beach. Claudia was the most excellent and helpful hostess.

If I could, we'd give it 6 stars. Keep in mind, it is next to the bar area, until 1 in the morning you can hear the music but nothing serious. Everything is more than excellent for several guests.

Enjoyed our stay! It is an unusual mix of being central to everything and at the same time on the best jungle street and in the middle of everything, some loud music at night until midnight and the coaties digging around the thatched roof at night at times, but overall loved the place. Is that one house in the jungle that refused to be converted to a multi story condo. Thatched roof had seen better days (with tarp on roof) and smelled a bit mildew, but the weather dried out and then we couldn't smell it.

The location was unbeatable having a house in the middle of everything is great beach is 2 blocks away and 5th Avenida is half a block. Claudia was great in proving instructions and very friendly she went to the property the next day and explained the dynamics of the property. We had a great time and the only feedback that I could provide is that an AC unit downstairs would be needed. We were 8 and slept comfortably in all three rooms all with AC. The property has a charmed.

As a Host myself, I have to say how impressed I was with Claudia. She was proactive in helping with transportation, finding a grocery store, and suggested the most perfect park to see the Cenotes (private and not crowded)! Available anytime I called or had questions and even stopped by the second day to show us a few things about the house. Absolutely amazing Host- exactly what you need when traveling to another country and city you have never visited. The House was gorgeous, as were the jungle grounds surrounding the house which gives such a quiet, peaceful feel. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out, the architecture was impressive and decor was on point. As others have mentioned, the noise from the restaurant nearby doesn’t stop til midnight, but only 1 of the bedrooms is really affected. I highly recommend staying here, they do have direct bookings which can save you money. Overall amazing!

Excellent location. Beach was 3 minutes away. 10 minute walk to excellent grocery store. Kitchen appliances were high quality. Great recommendations in the guest book for food and shopping. The property manager, Claudia was very responsive, kind, and helpful. A great location for families with children. I would definitely stay here again.

Overall, we had a nice stay. Pros: The property is very cool The home is beautiful Walkable Bug net around beds was effective A/C in bedrooms is very appreciated Lots of shops and restaurants nearby Grocery store nearby - about 10 min walk Beach chairs, umbrella, and beach towels provided 5 min walk to beach and we always found a good spot Claudia, the property manager, is incredible - super responsive, helpful, and excellent recommendations. She also helped us organize travel to and from the airport. Cons: There is super loud muaic every night at the restaurant next door - but it does end at midnight A coati (racoon) was digging into the roof (it is thatched in a couple of bedrooms) one night for a number of hours - but didn't make it inside. Could be unsettling for some. Tips: Bring ear plugs if you go to bed before midnight - very helpful! No matter how hot it is, DO keep the windows closed on hot days - it really makes a difference. Go with an open mind - it's a beautiful spot

Amazing experience and first time visiting Playa Del Carmen. I will only book this property when I come back. Beautiful property with close access to beach and all the surrounding city amenities. Private parking spots was also very helpful. Kids had room to play and roam safely at the property. Host was responsive and helpful with all needs and questions . Thank you for giving my family a memorable experience!

Hidden gem in the heart of Playa del Carmen. 50 yards to the beach and 50 yards to 5th avenue and the main strip in Playa del Carmen. We've been coming to Playa del Carmen since 2005. It's changed so much and become so commercialized, it was nice to find an old school private house located in the heart of Playa del Carmen. 38th avenue has always been a favorite area of ours due to it being less touristy. While that's not entirely the case anymore, it still feels like old Playa in this area. Tons of walkable restaurants and beach steps away. Communication with the owner and the caretaker Claudia was easy and very responsive. House was very spacious and exactly as described. Very secure property with lots of communal indoor and outdoor space to relax with bigger families. Take note, the second large room with the meditation room off of it does not have it's own bathroom. The bedroom with two beds does however as well as the master suite with the balcony.

The house is a true treasure. It has such incredible vibes, perfect location. Special!

Great gem in the middle of the best part of Playa del Carmen. The house is surrounded by a jungle like garden which makes it an little oases Playa. There are Many restaurants and shopping in walking distance. The ocean is just two bocks away. All together: amazing!!

We stayed in the house for 4,5 weeks. The house was really beautiful and very spacious. We had problems with coaties fighting on the roof, keeping us awake at night. We told Claudia and she immediately had some garden workers cut of branches etc. to prevent the animals from going to the roof. They put a lot of efford in it and solved the problem. When we had rainy days, the rain came indside the bedroom since the roof needs to be fixed. I’m sure that it will be fixed before the next guests. We had hoped for some more quiet evenings/nights, but there is a lot of music/noise from the surrounding bars and restaurants. On the other hand we really enjoyed the location right in the center and in walking distance to a small, quiet beach. William invited us to visit his Hacienda near Merida which we did, and it is the most beautiful place we have ever seen. Highly recommendable if you have tome to go there! In general, we loved our time in the house and the extremely nice and helpful hosts.

i recommend 100% the option to arrive with Willian, her property is amazing is surrounded by jungle and has incredible wildlife, variety of birds, raccoons, lizards and a few monkeys that are likely to be seen, the house is super spacious and beautiful with everything necessary for a perfect stay with many details in its decor, one block away is the beach where you will find several beach clubs like the Mamitas Beach Club and in the house you will find ice maker, beach chairs and towels really pass it amazing

It is a spacious, beautiful house with an interesting interior. Its roof is a traditional palaba that protects you against heat. The house is also well equipped. Outside surrounded by greenery. It all felt like a small oasis in the middle of bustling Playa del Carmen.

This place is magical! Both private and perfectly located between the beach and 5th street. Highly recommended!
