Nice secluded place to visit the area around Rincon de la vieja. The staff is really friendly and helpful in organising activities. The appartement in the hacienda is spacious and has marvellous views. The pools offer a perfect relaxing place after walking the volcano trails nearby.

This is possibly the most under sold place I’ve ever found on Airbnb. This is a total gem. My traveling companion was a little worried when she read the description of the place and it saying it was not a resort and a working ranch. But we were so pleasantly surprised when we got there! Everything was super clean and new feeling. Prices were incredibly reasonable for what it was. The drive there was a bit much, there’s 8 ish miles of a gravel, pothole filled dirt road. But worth it to find the ranch at the end. Do yourself a favor and let Jorge’s staff make the meals. They listened well to our preferences and the meals were amazing! Will definitely come back!

We stayed two nights at Vida Adventure. Jorge’s staff was friendly and quick to help us with new arrangements as I had made a mistake and thought our room had air conditioning. Horseback riding was fun and the pool was awesome. We enjoyed both nights going down the slide and admiring the country side. We ate dinner there one night too, and it was delicious! Beds were comfortable and room was clean with all necessities. WiFi was hit and miss which made it hard to plan for upcoming tours, so just plan ahead as we have found it’s not uncommon to have no service in some areas. It is a ways out from any store but that’s what makes it so special. We definitely recommend Jorge’s ranch.

Everything in his description is accurate. The only issue we had was that there was a lot of insects inside the house. The day the lights went out, we called Jorge he came to restore it but during that time a lot more insects appeared. It was an infestation that we couldn’t sleep in the rooms. We all slept in the living room. I understand it’s nature and hard to control/don’t want to harm the environment but it’s something that he should look into at least to keep them out the house or let alone minimize the amount of them. Last thing the pool is a 2/3 min walk. Overall the house, instructions he gives, and advice is pretty accurate. He’s also a very good host!

Vida Aventura is beautiful and a very peaceful place to spend a few days. Jorge was so helpful and friendly. It was exactly as described, our family had a wonderful stay.

Jorge is a totally nice host, our kids were in love with his two lovely and well-behaved dogs. The apartment was very simple and convenient, we were delighted by the pools and the slide, the tranquility and the landscape.

Jorge was very kind during our stay. he even drove 2 hours to pick up in chocolate cake for my wife's birthday. The place is rustic and true to the photos. Accessible without SUVS during the dry season and with a 45 minute hike on the grounds.

Jorge is very attentive to what we need. The place is beautiful, has trails with amazing views, the pool is very refreshing and the food is delicious. He is very secluded so it's a perfect disconnection getaway.

It’s a lovely place, though slightly odd to have the two showers and two toilets all in one bathroom. Really enjoyed the swimming pool hot tub. Very peaceful. The last mile or two of dirt road was pretty bad.
