We had an absolutely incredible stay at Joe’s home. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations, the house was beautiful, spotless, spacious, and had everything our family needed for a relaxing getaway. The beach view, oh my gosh, absolutely breathtaking and made every morning and evening unforgettable. And Joe, he was an outstanding host. He was friendly, responsive, and genuinely cared about making sure we had a wonderful experience. You can tell he takes great pride in his home and in providing an exceptional stay for his guests. This is, without a doubt, one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. It’s perfect for large families or groups, with plenty of space for everyone to enjoy while still feeling comfortable and welcoming. We made so many wonderful memories here, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. We’d recommend Joe’s home to anyone looking for an amazing place to stay. Thank you again, Joe. The house is very nice, the beds are very comfortable, close to the beach, excellent view, very family friendly, it's perfect for a relaxing vacation and rest. Joe was very friendly at all times. My family had a great time, and the kids loved that there were toys for them.

Beautiful house

The beach alone is worth booking this house! It has a great layout for families traveling together, but also wanting their own space. Joe was very responsive to the minor issues we had. The exterior spaces and furniture could use a little TLC, but nothing that kept us from having a great time!

We had a great stay at this beach house with our group of 13! The home is incredibly spacious, with a large kitchen, living room, and patio that made it easy for everyone to relax and enjoy time together. It never felt crowded, which is a huge plus for a group our size. The kitchen and bedrooms were very well stocked, and the beds were extremely comfortable, everyone slept well. The layout of the home worked perfectly for both group time and having space to unwind. There were a couple of minor hiccups during our stay, including a delay with water when we first arrived and lower water pressure at times, as well as limited communication at check-in and with a couple unannounced drop in visits from the owner. However, these didn’t take away from the overall experience. Overall, this is a great home for large groups looking for a comfortable and spacious place to stay, and we really enjoyed our time here.

Absolutely loved our stay! This spot is right on the beach, hands down the best beach location in Rocky Point. The views were amazing, and being just steps from the sand made the whole trip that much better. It was also a great setup for kids, safe and comfortable. The host was responsive and easy to communicate with, which made everything smooth from check-in to check-out. We had a great time and would definitely come back.

We had an amazing stay as a group of six adults and eight kids! The house is beautifully appointed with amazing comfy beds and very soft linens. Fast Wi-Fi was great too. Everything was as described and more. The kitchen is huge and stocked with everything you could possibly need and the location is unbeatable! We have been coming to RP for 30+ years and would rent here again in a heartbeat!!! Thank you for a wonderful stay in your beautiful home.

10/10! We absolutely loved our stay at Captain’s Quarters. The house was perfect for our group with three families - the layout worked great for everyone to have plenty of space to spread out in bedrooms, and the living area and patio that opened out to the beach was gorgeous and fabulous for a relaxing family trip. Joe was very responsive and friendly and his home was well-furnished and stocked to ensure we were comfortable and happy. We look forward to staying here in the future!

Favorite house we've ever stayed at in Rocky Point! It is beautiful and spacious. Great place for a large group. Beds were very comfortable. The host was very kind and responded quickly when we had questions. Highly recommend this home!

The house was beautiful!

I will start by saying that the place looks a lot better in person than the pictures. The place was clean and beautiful in every way. The beach was perfect, very clean and had no rocks like las concha’s or playa Bonita. Joe was very attentive to our needs. The propane tank ran out and he got one of his workers to get us one, so that was nice of him. Any questions or concerns we had he was very easy to get ahold of. We will definitely come back to this place!

We had a beautiful time. The beach was quiet and we had it all to ourselves even on Easter weekend. Lovely house with everything you might need.

The Captain’s Quarters was the perfect home for our Thanksgiving stay! We travel with another family and the 10 of us shared the space with no problem. The house is so roomy and each bedroom had a bathroom so everyone was happy:) The pool table and hot tub were a hit with the teenagers. I loved the huge dining table where all 10 of us could easily sit together for meals. The kitchen is AMAZING! So well stocked and super organized. It had everything we needed to cook our meals. We’d love to come visit again!

Beautiful home right on the beach as we wanted. Four private bedrooms which is what we wanted. No one complained of the beds or not sleeping comfortably. We had a guest in a wheel chair and where able to maneuver her easily in the home. We would definitely rent again. No long list of chores to do before departure.

Our stay was great. We did need to adjust the AC in the main room but the host was responsive to all questions. It was well stocked in the kitchen and with other things like boardgames. The location is gorgeous and the place worked perfectly for a large group. Overall, we had a lovely stay.

Host was super helpful and responsive. Home was beautiful and more than we would ever had imagined it to be. The beach is breath taking and absolutely gorgeous!

All I can say is WOW! The pictures do not do the house and beach justice. It is by far the most well stocked Airbnb we have ever stayed in, particularly the kitchen. It is extremely spacious and allowed our group to all have their own space. The patio and rooftop deck had plenty of comfortable seating, as well as sand toys, cornhole, other kids’ games, and boogie boards. There was a ton of board games suitable for little kids all the way up to adults. The house was immaculate, the beds comfortable, plenty of hot water, and super fast WiFi (important with 5 kids). This was our first time in the Playa Encanto/Playa La Jolla area, and oh my, the beach! White sand, not crowded, calm waters, the list goes on and on. I would suggest taking a screen shot of the directions Joe sends. Our GPS was not able to navigate us all the way to the house, but his directions were easy to follow once GPS let us down. If you’re traveling with kids, this is the place to stay!

Home was absolutely amazing. The host even had someone leave fresh guacamole. The patio was huge and the beach was so clean. We were beyond satisfied. Hope to come again next year.

This house is immaculate. It is well-equipped with all of the amenities you need: bowls, silverware, platters, dishes, pot-holders, spices, I mean EVERYTHING! SUPER fast WiFi too. We have [6] kids and [6] adults and there was never even a hint of buffering or slowed service. We've been bringing our 2-3 families to Rocky Point for [8] years and have been up and down the beaches (Sandy, Las Conchas & Playa Encanto). We have stayed at houses, condos and resorts but the search is over. This house is truly perfect! The condition of the house, the amenities, the responsive owners and let's not forget about the rock-less beach. Which if you have stayed in other parts of Rocky Point, you know that can be an issue. Also, Playa Encanto is less busy than Sandy Beach, which is amazing. We basically had the beach to ourselves on Memorial Day weekend. The house has the charm of traditional Mexican architecture but with updated appliances, counters and seating areas. Book It!!

This place exceeded my expectations! It was a beautiful place to visit, and the beach was amazing. The host was very responsive, and even hooked us up with local cooks to deliver meals! Definitely high on my list to re-visit!

Very clean, beautiful house. it accommodated our three families very nicely and comfortably. Joe and his wife were incredibly responsive to any small issues that came up. our group has been going to Los Conchas and Playa Encanto for more than 20yrs. Captain's Quarters will rank amongst our favorite rental houses there! It is a bit more than we are used to spending on the rental, but the comfortable bedding and well stocked kitchen, responsive host, etc make it worth the extra. We loved the rooftop deck as well as the beachfront patio and fireplace. The only thing that we would change is that some of the decor was fragile/too nice and we were having to remind the kids to use caution around some of the finer things. The hot water can take a while to warm up in a few of the showers but we feel like things are like that are expected in Puerto Penasco. Overall, our stay was perfect!

The oceanfront beach house was beautiful! The home had a lot of different things to keep all 12 of us entertained!! The pool table, dart board, games galore, the numerous fireplaces to sit and chill, hot tub, roof top balcony, the beach, the huge back patio!! The hosts got us a Welcome basket! Our dog was able to join in on our vacay! We had 3 different families and plenty of space for everyone! The VIEWS were AMAZING!!! The home is BEAUTIFUL!!! It was a great place to relax & unwind! Loved walking to the oyster farm & the views there were gorgeous! Oysters were delish! The kitchen was so organized & detailed oriented! Had everything we needed to cook all the delicious meals we made! Can’t wait for our next trip to the home! It was beyond beautiful!!
