Absolutely breathtaking views, beautifully appointed and decorated spaces, responsive staff, and excellent food. As the youngest in our group said: “this is the best home I’ve ever had.” Loved coming back here. Thank you, Marcela Staff.

Amazing resort that has a great relaxing environment with an amazing pool / bar !!

Had a lovely stay at Marcella, starting even before we arrived with them reaching out and assisting us in arranging transportation to and from the airport. The staff where all very friendly, the food and poolside drinks were delicious, and the rooms were clean and well maintained.

Thiis place is beautiful and cannot recommend it enough. the only negative for those who struggle with mobility is it is located on a hill which involves steps coming back from town. you won't regret staying here the view alone is amazing

This is a little slice of paradise in Old Town Vallarta. The pools are incredible as are the views. If everyone in your party is OK with walking and stairs, this is a great choice. We appreciated that the location felt secluded but it was only a relatively short walk away from old town and the beach. The rooms were well appointed and very comfortable.

Our family of six had a wonderful stay! Photos and videos don’t do justice to the breathtaking view of both the ocean and the city, it was truly amazing. The space was very generous and more than enough for all of us. The service was excellent, and we really enjoyed the food at the restaurant downstairs as well. Highly recommend!

Great place! I would stay again

My friends and I booked the entire 7th floor for a trip together. We had a great time and Marcela Resort was extremely responsive the entire time. The AC worked great, there are jugs of purified water provided for a very low price. Daily room cleaning if you want it. A great pool and property overall. And the views are absolutely stunning. A quick heads up. The property is on a large hill, so there are a lot of stairs to climb coming back from Zona Romantica. All my friends are young and able, but it would be hard to get around the area if you were not prepared for this. Also the elevator is very small and stops between floors. So again, be ready for some stairs. We had a great time on our stay and I would highly recommend people stay here.

Marcela Resort was absolutely stunning. Our penthouse room had breathtaking views of the city and incredible sunsets every evening. The pools were beautiful, and our kids had a blast. Up the hill from many of the restaurants but the food at the hotel exceeded our expectations; everything was delicious. We had a fantastic stay!

We loved the Marcela! They were wonderful hosts. The resort is beautiful, pools are lovely, rooms are lovely, staff is incredible!

The place is really nice, the view is amazing. It's difficult to access due to the incline, but Uber and taxis do arrive, and the walk helps to work off the food Comfortable rooms and the 7th floor is beautiful I had my bachelorette party here and everything went great

One of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed. Incredible views from the condo and an amazing pool area. Check in was very smooth - the front desk walked us through everything, answered all of our questions, and even showed us to our room. Staff checked in each day via whats app to see if we needed anything. Space was clean and very spacious. 10/10 - would stay again in a heartbeat

Our stay at Marcela Resort in Puerto Vallarta was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and at home. The resorts location is amazing, and offers breathtaking views of the ocean and surrounding nature. Our room was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and equipped with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. A huge plus was having a washer and dryer available for our large 10 person party in our suite. One of the highlights was the stunning pool area, because of the amazing pools, the on-site restaurant that was nearby and the staff. Shoutout to Pedro who made our stay even better!!! So kind and attentive!

I booked this stay for my family-- older dad, older aunt, late 30's cousins, and their 2 kids (10 and 7)-- and they had the BEST EXPERIENCE. From before check in, communication was excellent and helpful; after check in, my family literally spammed me with thank you's and photos/videos, gushing about how gorgeous the property was, how incredible the view is from every room, how fabulously decorated every room is, etc. They loved the location (close proximity to everything) and the property itself, too, and took full advantage of the putting course and the pool with the kids. I didn't get to stay there myself, but as the primary point of contact, I was included in the group chat...and judging by the concierge's quick and thorough responses to any questions/requests my family had, I felt entirely reassured that my family was being well taken care of at Marcela Resort. My family was so impressed by this stay, I've decided I need to stay here myself the next time I'm in PV!

Very relaxing, family friendly, incredible views and proximity to town. Staff were wonderful. We had several families with little ones and being able to order food near the pool and an on-site crib/pack and play available were vacation savers!

We were absolutely obsessed with this place. The pictures almost don’t do the view justice. The hotel itself has a lovely reasonably priced restaurant too which was lovely for grabbing breakfast or coffee. The employees/hosts were very kind and helpful. Loved everything about it.

An incredibly beautiful spot, just a 10-minute walk from the beach and Zona Romantica. Our group of 10 booked the entire 7th floor, offering ample room for all of us. The pool was fantastic, and the bar/restaurant provided excellent value, especially for a hotel/resort. The staff were exceptionally attentive and responsive whenever we needed assistance. We will undoubtedly choose Marcela again! It is a perfect 10/10.

The resort is beautiful, very friendly staff . The penthouse was even better than the pictures and description.

Overall my family and I enjoyed our stay at Marcela. Things we liked: - The decor was warm with local artistic touches - The communication and responsiveness with management was exceptional - The location was more walkable than I would have expected due to a lower entranceway with direct access to the highway - The views were outstanding. We particularly enjoyed the nightly fireworks - Relatively quiet On the (only slightly) downsides: - The kitchen could have been a bit better appointed. There were no basic food staples (other than sugar and coffee - we did appreciate the coffee!) or storage supplies. Pots/pans/bowls were a little sparse, though we could usually find what we were looking for in one or the other of the kitchens. - This place is tough for anyone with mobility concerns. There are steps everywhere, even out of the elevator. The showers have a deep tub that can be challenging to navigate. We were there with our elderly parents - they rallied but it was a challenge

We loved everything about our stay at Marcela resort. We had the most gorgeous apartment in the sky - overlooking the ocean and the city. The reality was so much bwtter than the pictures. The rooms were all beautiful and comfortable - and the layout was perfect for our group of friends - beautiful space to be together and lots of privacy if needed. We thought we would spend more time on the beach but we actually spent most of our time at the resort - by the pools. Staff were lovely all around. Location was a bit up in the hills which meant it was a bit cooler / much welcome for us. Do yourself a favor and book here.

Great location, we enjoyed beautiful views from the 7th floor and the rooms and common area are stunning! Would recommend for heathy individuals, not too well suited for people that have difficulty with a lot of staircases. All the folks at Marcela are super friendly and the resort and amenities are awesome.

We stayed here with a group of 8. It was very comfortable and beautiful. The views are amazing and the grounds are well kept. Staff is very nice and attentive. Food at the on-site restaurant was delicious and quick. Tucked away from the busy downtown area, but only a few minute car ride.

A place with a spectacular view and a remodeled but very nice building

We loved our stay at Marcela’s. The location was fantastic - about a 15 minute walk to the Zona romantica and nearest beach. The staff were accommodating and communicated with us well. The penthouse was stunning with beautiful views of the town!

The staff is great, the rooms and the view were amazing, I had an amazing time with my family, I can not stop recommending this airbnb to everyone, thank you for making our vacations a great memory.

Marcela Resort is a stunning location! The suites we stayed in were beautiful, clean, had everything you could need, and beautiful views of the ocean and town. The staff was incredible, so responsive and helpful with anything we needed and helped so much with calling rides for us to get to our activities. The pool was a great atmosphere and the drinks were delicious. I can’t wait to return soon! You won’t regret staying at Marcela, just do it!

Fantastic!! Gorgeous boutique resort just outside of the Romantic zone. Quick walk or very short taxi ride to restaurants, shops and the beach. We loved the location bc it was quiet and secluded with amazing views, but a short distance to everything else! They staff went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. VERY easy to communicate with and very responsive. The rooms are huge and have everything you need to relax and enjoy. There is a small restaurant onsite, a spa, pool and concierge. We would gladly stay here again!!

The best place we have stayed at in Puerto Vallarta

We loved our stay. Staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs. We had two rooms with a connecting door. Each apartment was decorated different from the other but equally beautiful and comfortable. The views were amazing, especially at sunset. Great location. Short walk to the restaurants, shops and the beach. Due to steep road suggest taking an Uber or taxi back to the resort. We are planning another trip this fall.

The pictures do NOT do this place justice. The staff was absolutely amazing and very helpful. The character this place had from top to bottom made it hard to leave. You are close to all the bars and restaurants and we loved going and exploring but we really were the happiest at the resort.
