Can’t recommend this place enough. Had a true jungle feel with the luxury of a beautiful home and amenities. Many insects and animals around throughout the day so be prepared for that. Heriberto was extremely helpful during check-in and responsive throughout the stay. He recommended Playa Linda down the road, very private and full of wildlife. Highly recommend booking a home on this property !

We absolutely loved our stay. The house is great, and the location in the forest is amazing. We had a little scare on the second night when we saw a snake hanging from a tree next to the pool. But the team was responsive in answering us and reassuring us. That's also part of being in the jungle!

An exceptional place, a little paradise in the middle of the jungle! The house was well equipped, very clean, with a beautiful pool and a lovely waterfall within walking distance! The hosts were very available and welcoming. Our stay was pleasant!

We’ve stayed in a couple different houses in this neighborhood. We love the neighborhood and this is our favorite place so far.

Loved the place! Lots of bugs but thats expected. All the rooms are individual so it’s more of a villa than anything. Beautiful views!!!!!! We wanted to see monkeys and sloths but we didnt. We saw so many birds including Toucans!!! Pool is so clean and well maintained. Safe area and the waterfall right next door is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!

The Portasol staff are extremely attentive, friendly, and super helpful. The only recommendation, as stated in the listing description, is to have a 4x4 vehicle. In our case, they kindly helped several of our guests get in. They are truly incredibly friendly, and the place is absolutely beautiful! I look forward to coming back soon!!

This place is absolutely stunning. Make sure to check out the beautiful waterfalls just a few minutes away. Loved our time here.

Truly cannot say enough good things about our stay at Casa Monos Locos. it was THE most incredible AirBnb i’ve ever stayed at, and truly gave us the full Costa Rican rainforest experience with the outdoor living areas. please make sure to get a 4x4 as listed since the road leading up to the house is quite a challenge 🤣 it was exactly as pictured, if not more beautiful in person. it was extremely clean, the hosts were very nice and helpful (even helped me book at home facial, and heriberto helped us with our car rental too before getting there. absolutely 10/10 would go back, thank you guys!!

Nothing compares to a true jungle experience like this. Yes, you’ll need a 4x4 to get there, but the directions were clear and easy to follow and the adventure is part of the MAGIC. The house is absolutely spectacular. The architecture blends beautifully with the jungle while still offering comfort and luxury. And despite being deep in nature, it is one of the cleanest homes we’ve ever stayed in and everything was spotless and perfectly maintained. It felt safe, private, and peaceful. My family fell in love with the walks, the waterfall, the wildlife, and the pure connection to nature. Randy was incredibly flexible and kind, Luis was respectful and attentive, and the management team was outstanding. This wasn’t just a stay, it was an unforgettable experience. We will definitely be back. Thank you so so much!!

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was our first time to Costa Rica and we were so happy to have landed in this area. The outdoor living style of the house was a great way to experience the jungle surroundings. We saw lots of toucans, lizards and plant life from our house.
