The place was really well kept, Cristina is an excellent host and all our needs were met. Highly recommend using the Chef Beto for your arrival meal. (You will not regret the experience). This was a great experience for our family. We were extremely happy at Casa Chanty.

Cristina is a fantastic host! Our group of 8 requested the arrival welcome dinner and when the chef got sick prior to our arrival, Cristina offered to cook for us and boy did she hit it out of the park! A delicious seafood pasta, with fresh tuna tostada and a baked coconut dessert. Soda and water for the kids and wine for the adults! Her home is in a beautiful private location with the perfect amount of beach between the home and the ocean and the home is even more beautiful in person than in the photos (I know, hard to believe!). We will be recommending Cristina's home to any friends or family that travel to this area, we literally could not ask for a better place. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home!

We had an amazing stay at this property and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Cristina was a wonderful host throughout our trip, very responsive, thoughtful, and incredibly helpful with local recommendations that made our vacation even better. We were traveling as a group of 9, including two small children, and the home accommodated all of us very comfortably. The property itself was beautiful, peaceful, and felt very safe. The staff was excellent and made us feel well taken care of during our entire stay. We especially appreciated Cristina’s attentiveness and kindness. She even offered to purchase additional child-sized life vests if the ones at the property did not fit our children, which we thought was extremely thoughtful. She was also very transparent and apologetic regarding the seasonal seaweed conditions, which we appreciated since that is obviously outside of anyone’s control. Overall, this was a fantastic experience. I highly recommend this property.

We loved the place. It had plenty of bedrooms, beds, bathrooms, etc. great view from the front room too. AC worked, which was a big deal for our hot sunny days. I’d recommend and book it again!

This place made our family vacation dreams come true. The location was perfect and the pictures really are as good as it is, but better. It started feeling like our home away from home. We will definitely be back!

Casa Chanty is the perfect, peaceful getaway I was looking for. Christina was very helpful messaging back & forth before our arrival. Alberto is very helpful on site, Damien & his daughter cleaned, replaced fresh linens & toiletries daily and I highly recommend Chef Bentos services. Some of the best food we tried in Mexico! 10/10

We enjoyed a very restful, relaxed stay with family and grandchildren. This location is truly a little piece of heaven. The views from out unit were breathtaking! Beautiful sandy beach with clear aqua coloured ocean. Our grandkids enjoyed building sandcastles and splashing in the ocean. The adults enjoyed boogy boarding! The pool was perfect for our little ones. Our grandson ran a high fever one night and Cristina was so responsive providing medical contacts. A doctor came to the property within and hour and was very supportive. Chef Beto prepared 3 delicious suppers during our stay. Such a treat. He left the kitchen spotless and left enough for lunch the next day! The only concern we had was that the manager onsite had several late night parties which kept us awake. Overall, an amazing vacation!

The place was very nice, the beach was very quiet and clean as well as the house, perfect to rest and in a good area near Cancun and Playa del Carmen

We traveled four adults and five children, 2 families. There was plenty of room for both families. The outdoor area that is fenced, i.e. the pool and the barbecue and a long table, is shared with the guests who live on the lower floor. It worked great and was no problem. The beach is lovely and it feels so private that you hardly see anyone on the whole trip. Plenty of room for all guests to lie on the sun loungers on the beach. The ocean was completely turquoise. We used kayaks and SUPs a lot, a big bonus the kids thought. Every morning Damian cleaned the beach, which was a huge plus. You could also ask Damian to prepare and light the barbecue. We chose to hire the kitchen assistant who cooked good Mexican lunch that we ate outdoors. Christina was easy to communicate with and very accommodating. Everything was fresh and modern inside the house, a big bonus with so many bathrooms when traveling with two large families. We watched the sunrise from the balcony every morning. We will definitely be back soon

The perfect place for your family.

We had a wonderful stay. Plenty of room for 3 adult couples and one toddler. Alberto was very helpful and full of information. Damian and Dahlia were superb. No complaints.

This place is a stunner. You cannot beat the location for privacy, pristine beach and clear water. If you are looking for a party atmosphere, this is not it. This is a place to rest, read, swim, cook and make memories. We’ll be back!

Spectacular. An entire beach practically just for you. We stayed 10 days and enjoyed every minute. The house is exquisite. The host Cristina, Damian's service and Dalila's cleaning were really great. I would go back and in fact I want to go back. Paradise!

Direct access to the beach and a pool listening to the waves - it's hard to beat! It was also really convenient to use the shuttle service and chef suggested, both who very familiar with the property; that made the stay even more relaxing. Although the A/C and fans had a hard time keeping up with the heat in the living room and kitchen, the rooms cooled down quite quickly! The team was responsive for the little things we needed. Will definitely be staying on our list to come back to!

Loved this he place! Very beautiful and peaceful. Had the beach to myself! Close to Playa Del Carmen and Cancun but spent most of my time in a small fishing town called Puerto Morelos!!! Puerto Morelos was amazing with the prettiest water!

This property is stunning!! If you are looking for a peaceful and private house away from the crowds this is the house for you. Beautiful sunrise and sunsets from the porch. Beach is right out the door. The pictures and descriptions accurate. The transportation service the host works with is tremendous, very responsive. We had Chef Beto cook two meals and the food was phenomenal and reasonably priced, with plenty of leftovers. Alberto was responsive to anything we needed during our stay and the dogs and cat were awesome. The property was a great fit for our family of 7. Great memories created and we are already trying to plan a trip back. Host very responsive to my many questions.

Amazing private location away from the large resorts. Perfect for our family. We loved staying here. Has all the amenities we needed. The beach was dreamy and perfect. We were able to rent a car and easily get to all the activities we wanted to do. The host was wonderful and responsive to any questions we had. She was even able to accommodate us with no trouble at all when we needed to check out a bit later. The only thing we didn’t realize is this is not a completely private house, it is an upstairs condo with another condo below and another condo on the property. So the pool and outdoor spaces are shared with the other groups staying there. It worked out totally fine for us but this wasn’t super clear in the description.

Christine was an exceptional hostess. The home exuded an authentic charm, boasting breathtaking views. Each morning, we were captivated by the sunrise and the soothing sound of the ocean waves. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment for those seeking respite and relaxation. Our stay was truly memorable.

this was probably the best air bnb I have stayed at yet. the beach is so gorgeous and you practically have it all to yourself. we will definitely be returning in the future!

What a great spot! We loved this property and were lucky to have it to ourselves for the week! Although there has been some sand loss due to the recent hurricane we enjoyed the beach, and the bigger than usual waves for boogie boarding and body surfing. Being a private beach it’s quiet and peaceful. The house itself is so fun and has tones of character. They do a good job keeping it clean and being this close to the water, what a chore! Salty sea spray and sand is always trying to come inside. The staff was friendly and always around to help. We had Beto cook 3 breakfasts & 3 dinners and he did not disappoint! It’s a real treat to play in the water all day and come inside to a lovely meal prepared in the home. He cleans and leaves all the leftovers which we used for lunches. Call him, it’s worth it. Pool is small and was perfect for our 3 year old. Puerto Morelos is a seriously sweet little town, 10 minutes away. We went in for three dinners and had good experiences each time.

We had a fantastic week! We spent our entire vacation hanging out by the beach and pool. The beach has plenty of shade with chairs and loungers. A variety of beach and water toys were available for my kids. The house was beautiful with amazing views. The air conditioner units in our individual rooms worked excellent. The kitchen had everything we needed to prep food for the week. Nobody in my group had any complaints. We used chef Beto’s services for 5 of the 7 nights we were there. His food is amazing and his prices are very reasonable. Cristina, Alberto and the entire house staff were all very friendly and helpful. We would stay again

This was a family trip with 6 adults and the home was clean and in a beautiful setting. The private beach was relaxing and Cristina was quick to respond to our questions. Having Alberto on site was helpful when we needed something right away. Susanna made our delicious welcome dinner and she was delightful as well.

Beautiful beach. Apartment is as advertised only 100 meters from the ocean. Sargassum was a problem. Some days better than other days. A little worn out and showing wear. Very helpful and welcomed to have a water dispenser in the apartment. We got one dinner prepared by Chef Beto. Fantastic meal ! Alberto was very helpful when needed.

Overall our vacation at Casa Chanty was wonderful and we hope to stay here again!! Alberto (and the puppies) were onsite and extremely helpful. Beautiful home, beach, location and the access to kayaks was lovely. The cleaner (Daniel, I believe) was friendly and fantastic, as were the chauffeur and chef that Cristina connected us with. The only minor complaint is that there were more people/families utilizing the space than expected, which quickly resulted in the boogie-boards being destroyed and our kids not getting to use them, but that's a minor issue. Thanks to the whole Casa Chanty Team!

Absolutely amazing place to stay! The price is better then hotels by a long shot with the added bonus of being in private beach, no crowds! The view from the house is stunning! It was perfect for my older parents who didn’t always want to be out in the sun or go out in excursions with us. They could enjoy the beautiful ocean right from the living room or balcony. Chef Beto cooked us four dinners and a lunch and it was the best food we had in Mexico! He and his assistant cleans the kitchen, pit away the left overs, took out the garbage and swept! Felt like we were in a 5 star hotel! Alberto is on site and was fun to talk to and always helpful whenever we needed anything. Andrea and Veronica were awesome helping us arrange for transportation and make plans. And Cristina was always responsive and patient with all my questions. Also, the massage therapists are amazing! We had massages right in the balcony! Don’t miss a chance to book this place!

This place is an absolute gem! Don’t think twice, the beach amazing, common areas were clean and perfect for hanging out. The house was roomy and cozy with amazing views. You will have everything you need and not want to leave. We will definitely book again. Thank you!

What can I say, Casa chanty was as incredible as it looks in the picture. Christina was amazing and her home is just stunning. Between the clear blue sea, powder white sand and amazing penthouse what more could you want. Thank you for an unforgettable experience.

We had an amazing time. We had six people and stayed one week. The view is amazing and sitting on the patio wonderful. We were there in July and the temperature was usually around 90 during they day but there was usually a nice breeze that made it very comfortable. The A/C units in the bedrooms kept them cool and comfortable. There is an A/C unit in the main living space and if it ran all night it could keep the area a bit cooler during the day. Though some days the heat and humidity was too much for the unit and it could get warm in that area. However, we never found it too uncomfortable and recall, it was July. The only issue we had was during a brief but heavy rain storm water leaked in the back bedroom with the patio. They were working on the roof the week we were there and apparently it still needs a little more work. This was a minor inconvenience and the only reason I mention it is to recommend not putting your luggage at the foot of the bed just to be safe.

Great host. We should have brought more cash as some of our cards didn't work at grocery store. The sargassum seaweed was pretty deep by end of stay and everyone thought a tractor to clean beach was probably necessary. It was 2 ft deep and worsened with storms. The Penthouse was great. Host was wonderful. Chef Beto was awesome. Thanks again.

Beautiful home. It does get pretty hot but can’t complain when staying in a high humidity tropical environment. The beach definitely makes up for it. Completely private and Cristina also provides kayaks and boards for some beach fun. Amazing location if looking for a private property on a private beach. Note property is shared with two other Airbnb’s but luckily it seems like no one had booked the other two properties at time of our stay giving us complete access to all common areas.

What a beautiful spot! It was like we were at a private beach. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The house had everything we needed and space for the 6 of us to not feel on top of each other. What a wonderful place for our family to spend time together.

This was our second time staying at Casa de Chanty, and it won't be the last. Everything I loved about the place from our previous stay remains the same, and we cannot wait to come back again next year. We have stayed up and down the Riviera Maya, and Christina's place is among the best you will ever find, if you can get some days I'd highly recommend...bohemian and beautiful, it is totally comfortable, totally cool and the beach is just wonderful...we plan to return. Thank you Cristina and Alberto, we enjoyed a restful and relaxing family holiday.

Casa Chanty is wonderful! When we first arrived, we were stunned by the gorgeous views and calm, aqua water. The top level of the house has a wrap around window where you can sit and watch the gorgeous ocean, sunrise or moon. You can swim or kayak right in front of the house. The staff had cleaned the beach of seaweed prior to our arrival and the beach stayed perfect all week except for the last day when a storm brought more in. Chef Beto prepared our first meal and we loved it. It’s a nice perk to be able to have a meal on site the day you arrive. The house was fully equipped for our group of nine. Alberto, the on-site manager was kind, helpful and funny, and my kids enjoyed his friendly playful dogs. We will be back!

Casa Chanty with our two kids (2 and 5) along with other family was an incredible and relaxing vacation. the ocean is perfect for kids learning to swim (sandy entrance, generally calm waves) or adults who love to body surf or boogie board (a few days of our 2 week trip had great body surfing waves). location is awesome, playa secreto is a hidden gem, feels much more wild than most of the riviera. puerto morelos is closer than playa del carmen (15 min) but is our new favorite town in the area, with great restaurants, grocery store, and a mellower vibe than playa. the casa itself was perfectly situated on the beach with great views. we will 100% be back.

This place was amazing!!! Could not have asked for better beach access and it was so much better than staying at a resort. We rented a car and were able to see Cancun, Playa del Carmen, and Tulum. Perfect location. The A/Cs in each bedroom were great. We highly recommend booking the Chef, Beto. Wow! He made us feel so welcomed. We asked for traditional food from the area and were singing his praises at every meal! We were here for a week and he cooked us multiple meals making our vacation easy and unforgettable. We had one day that the wifi was not working and within minutes of asking the on-site manager, he had a new router up and running for us. We always felt like we were taken care of. When you visit, please give the Casa Chanty doggies love for us!

Just exactly what we wanted!

It is hard to write a review; I don't want anyone else to know about this gem. We love this place! It is secure, away from people and quiet (but the sound of the crashing waves). It is close to other activities, but there is no need to leave...many amenities on the property.

The best beach in the area. Very private. Gorgeous sweeping view. Friendly staff. It was an incredible vacation stay.

We rented the Penthouse at Casa Chanty for Spring Break and spent a week there with four adults, two teenagers and three tweens. The views from the Penthouse are AMAZING! We had the sliding glass doors open the entire week and never once turned on the AC. The house is bigger than it looks in the pictures. We slept 9 perfectly and having 3 bathrooms for 9 people was great! Alberto, the caretaker, was very helpful and the kids loved Negrita and Wolly (the two dogs) who came to visit us everyday. We used the Stand up Paddle board, the kayaks and there were several body boards to use as well. We rented a car and had no issues. We bought our groceries in Puerto Morels and that was super easy and convenient and 10 minutes away. The only thing that surprised us was that there are 3 other units/properties that have access to the Casa Chanty beach and pool. So it was less private than we thought but everyone was very nice and it was never an issue. Overall, we highly recommend this property. Christina answered all our questions immediately and helped us with rental car advice and directions. She is a great host!

Casa Chanty was a beautiful, quiet escape. The beach was so beautiful and just steps away from the house. The views were just incredible. The kitchen was fully equipped and nice and open. Plenty of room for the 7 of us. Loved the pool and outdoor dining area. We are dog lovers so the 2 dogs on the property were fun to have running around. The property manager was always available and very kind. There are not a lot of negatives but for the sake of writing an honest review, We would have loved a couple more fans in the house. The one ac in the living area just couldn't keep up with the heat and humidity and fans would have been awesome. A few more pillows for comfort when sleeping and some upgraded bedding. The Jacuzzi tub never water would never get hot so we did not get to use it unfortunately. If we stayed again, we would have definitely rented a car. We spent looots of money on taxis. The cost to the closest convenience store was $20.00 each way. $25 to Puerto Morelos, where there was dining and a supermarket. $40 each way minimum to shopping and dining in Playa del Carmen. $60 if it was all 7 of us in a van. Overall, the experience was one we all truly enjoyed. Missing the sound of those waves already!

WOW...CASA CHANTY is AMAZING!!! The duplex is located on a beautiful private beach. The penthouse was just right for 9 people. Easy access from highway and there is 24 hour security. Don Alberto was on premises at all times and made us feel welcomed. This place is perfect for families. Thank you Cristina & Alberto!! Hope to see you both soon!

Casa Chanty is a little slice of heaven. The views of the ocean were amazing. We loved the constant breeze blowing through the house with the windows and doors open. It was well equipped with anything you could possibly need. Completely safe. Alberto was always there to help us order food or call a cab. Being dog lovers, Wally (a Golden) and Nigrita another small dog made our already perfect vacation, even better.

Loved our trip to Casa Chanty! The beach is fairly private, everything in the house and outside was well maintained, and we were well taken care of.
