A great chilled spot to relax in our own space, and a short drive to key attractions. Set in great gardens with many birds. Very responsive hosts, sorted a wifi issue in 5 minutes, and helped book us a great tour.

It is so kind of Carolina & Silvia. We couldn’t have had such a seamless trip without her, as we planned everything quite last-minute. She even assisted us in booking local tours and ordering food delivery. The house may be a little bit hard to find at night, but the moment we got off the car, we got a warm welcome from their father (I guess), which really touched my heart.

we loved our time here! it was perfect for us and our two young children. we loved having coffee on the porch with the birds every morning and exploring the trail on the property. Our beds were comfortable and we really enjoyed all the help Silvia gave to us with recommendations. My only advice is it is a little tricky arriving at night. Silvia was so fantastic and patient with us!

Carolina and Silvia's place was amazing! A perfect Costa Rica experience tucked in the outskirts of La Fortuna. Silvia met us upon our arrival, sent us tons recommendations, spent time reviewing a map with us and was always immediately responsive. The house is beautiful -- comfy beds, clean bathroom (huge shower!) and great outside porch for the morning coffee or a late night beverage.

Feels like you are right in the middle of a rainforest which is great. Located near a main road so unfortunately some road noise in the evenings and mornings, but aside from that it is exactly as expected.

We stayed 3 nights with our two kids (1 and 5) here. Unfortunately, it was a bit more remote from La Fortuna, so you couldn't really do anything in the immediate vicinity, such as a walk, since the complex was relatively close to a larger main road. The trucks always passed by around 4 or 5 in the morning and it was extremely loud.-Although the houses (there are 2 more on the very green and dense but well-maintained overgrown grounds) were perhaps a good 300m away from it. The interior looks very dark due to the wood, if you like it rustic, you will like it. There was an interesting washing machine outside, which only washed with cold water and each wash had to be set manually. Everything worked well and for rinsing it is certainly sufficient, but grease stains/larger dirt did not go away with it. But there would also be laundromats in the area. Everything is very well maintained, great plants, huge bamboo surrounds the house. Landlord helpful

Silvia and her family were super responsive, super kind, helpful and welcoming. The only thing I can say is that the cabin was pretty small for the group of 5 that we were, and that the photos give a different sense of size. Also some photos belong to a different cabin that they own, and that got me confused. the kitchen was good. The bed’s comfortable, there is noise from the street but not to late at night, and it didn’t prevent us from sleeping

It was a lovely, peaceful place. AC in each bedroom which cooler the whole place nicely. Loved the patio!!! And the trails for a morning walk. A 15 min drive or so to La Fortuna and apx 45 to Arenal Volcano etc. Lots of morning birds!! If you don't mind being a bit out of town to get the peace it's great place!

Great stay. Easy to find as it's right on the highway. Silvia was really helpful and very communicative. Space is well laid out and very well equipped with everything you need. Outdoor space is great - we had all our meals outside sitting at the bar. Nice walking trails out the back for a brief saunter. Recommended.

Silvia was a wonderful host and the trails and nature behind the cabins were excellent. The cabin itself is pretty comfortable, but the roadway noise is excessive and we had difficulty sleeping with the loud trucks and motorcycles throughout the night. The walls are very thin so the vehicle noise and proximity to the highway mean very loud traffic - even with the provided earplugs. We’re used to a pretty quiet sleeping environment at home and would not have booked this place if we had known how loud the highway noise would be and that it is so close to the highway.

Very comfortable, well equipped cottage. Beautiful natural surroundings, well equipped kitchen. We had a small request and the owner immediately helped. Only one small but, it is quite close to airport, I had good quality earplugs so all good. Aga

We had a great experience staying here! Silvia was communicative and gave us recommendations for local restaurants and booked our excursions for us. The cabin itself was very cool and has some trails around the property. I would definitely stay here again
