We had the best time at Deidre's place. The downstairs bedrooms are separate from upstairs bedrooms, which made it feel like our teens had privacy and their own living space, which was really great for them. The views were wonderful, we saw a beautiful sunset from the top. The decor is tasteful. Walking distance to everything which was a plus for all of us. The recommendations were on point, even listing places further outside of San Pancho, which we appreciated. This is a great space and we are grateful we spent such a great time there. Highly recommend.

Our entire group loved it here! There were 8 of us and everyone had so much space to spread out and do what they liked. Some spent the whole time on the beautiful roof, others spent their time by the pool. It was easy to get everyone together too! We love visiting San Pancho and staying here was such a nice change from previous trips. We did rent the golf cart and it made going up and down the hill to the house a breeze. But even when we didn’t use it, it was manageable. So close to everything we wanted! Deirdre was super responsive when we needed any assistance which was amazing! Only recommendation is to bring ear plugs for the roosters. But that is so much of San Pancho in general! Would 1000% recommend!!

We loved staying here. The description was exactly what it was. And Deidre sent us her house manual beforehand that had EVERYTHING you can imagine about the house and the town. The house was a home in the best of ways - it had games, books and soft personal touches. The kids had the best time enjoying the pool and nearby beaches, and loved coming home to the sunset on the roof top patio. We'll definitely try and stay here again next time we're in San Pancho.

This was my absolute favourite Airbnb. Deidre’s place is gorgeous, with thoughtful attention to detail throughout and plenty of indoor and outdoor space for our group of six. The house is extremely well equipped, including toys and games for kids. We appreciated the fans and AC units in bedrooms for the evening, and ability to open up patio doors throughout the house to let in the breeze. The location was perfect - very close to the wonderful restaurants and shops in town, as well as the beach. We are fairly active families and were fine with our kids ages 6-8 without use of the golf cart as we explored each day. The kids especially loved the abundance of roosters and chickens in the surrounding streets, as well as geckos that appeared at night. Deidre was exceptional to communicate with throughout and even let us check-in early since we had a very early flight arrival - I cannot thank her enough for this! Would highly recommend and would definitely book again.

Dierdre’s place was the ideal home to stay in as a family. I’ve been to San Pancho a few times and stayed within a flew blocks of Dierdre’s place, but this was such a wonderful home for bringing our kids and grandparents. We enjoyed every inch of the home and the walk to the beach was no issue for our youngest (5), nor oldest (67). I loved all of the books scattered so intentionally throughout the home, there was something here for everyone. The house is one of the best equipped Airbnb’s I’ve stayed in! We are already talking about our next visit!

This house was even better in person. We were a group of 4 and everyone absolutely loved the place. The space is open and airy and so beautifully curated. The care and attention to detail in this home is really quite impressive. We spent plenty of time relaxing on the rooftop deck and in the large living room overlooking the town. Sleeping quarters and showers were also 10/10. Safe drinking water from all of the taps is also such a rare and welcome luxury to have in Mexico. I could go on and on... the salt water pool was amazing too. We would stay here again without question.

As you enter Casa Lagartija, you can take a deep exhale—the home immediately holds an energy of peace and ease. It is not only pristinely clean and thoughtfully cared for, but also filled with beautiful local art, an incredible book collection, and every piece of kitchenware you could need to feel truly at home in San Pancho. The garden gently holds you as you sit poolside, welcoming beautiful birds that provide the most soothing nature TV. I highly recommend Casa Lagartija and look forward to my own return.

Deidre's home was stunning and perfect, exactly and even better than captured on the photos! The beds were amazingly comfortable and relatively quiet considering the roosters that are everywhere. It was so nice to have filtered water throughout the house so we didn't have to worry about a thing. Deidre's care to add extra amenities such as meds, forgotten toiletries, a take and leave for food, spices, alcohol, and all the extras made the stay A++. I would definitely stay here again and the 7 other women that stayed all agree. It's perfect for a group to share, still have privacy and space to enjoy the home.

We (couple in our mid-60s), our 30-something kids, their partners, and our 6 and 8-year-old grandkids spent Christmas week here. The place was great for our group. The grandkids lived in the pool & hammock swings and we loved relaxing and taking in the views from the rooftop terrace. The Bluetooth speakers that serve both spots was a nice touch. We appreciated the game shelf & book collection—the 8-year-old was fascinated to find Diary of a Wimpy Kid books in Spanish. We took advantage of the golf cart and were glad we did—it was a short but steep walk to town and it was nice to have a way to drive exhausted kids back to the house after full days in town and at the beach. Deidre was extremely quick and helpful in responding to questions we had before arrival. When we had a question or issue arise after arrival (and the only issues were very minor) she was also extremely quick to respond and very accommodating.

My family and I absolutely loved our time here. The house was so charming and was perfect for our family and small children. We will absolutely be back!

The photos don't quite do it justice. Waking up with my friends on the main living level, cantina doors opening onto the terrace with sweeping views of the adjacent jungle...sigh... We ate in for some meals and the kitchen is not just very well equiped for cooking with utensils, but stocked with all the basics one needs, including a generous assortment of spices and seasings. It didn't feel like a staged rental, but a vacation home on loan to you from a good friend. We'll be back!! -the Wifi didn't work during our stay.

We loved our week-long stay at Deidre's Casa Largajita! Great bedrooms, kitchen, clean water, hot showers, AC, and the pool space is amazing. We loved the guestbook that they provided and used it daily to plan our adventures! TV wasn't working during our trip, which was unfortunate, but we made due. The house is in a neighborhood on top of a large hill, so be aware that the walk back up the hill from town can be a bit of a doozy. We rented Diedre's golf cart for $50/day, which was a life saver and really allowed us to explore San Pancho. Loved the "take some and leave some bar", which allowed us to try a couple of tequila's we normally wouldn't have bothered buying an entire bottle. Definitely recommend hiring the in-home cook (Elena) for at least one night. We had the Enchiladas Suizas and frijole's and homemade guacamole along with Elena making a pitcher of margaritas using our booze. We'll definitely be back!

I will never stay anywhere else in San Pancho. Not only was the property breathtakingly beautiful with something magnificent to offer on every floor, the place was insanely clean, beautifully decorated, complete with books everywhere, art, a "help yourself" bar and more. I couldn't have asked for anything else. Deidre responded to every question I had and was so helpful and kind. I felt right at home. Things were intuitively placed in the kitchen and I was able to find everything I needed easily. I enjoyed wine and coffee in every outdoor space. I was able to walk to restaurants and the beach and shops in a 10 minute walk. It was truly an oasis. The pool was warm in the evening and very private. There was gym equipment on the top floor, including weights and yoga mats, which was an unexpected surprise. I used them everyday. There were bikes and surf boards and honestly everything you could ever want in a beach property. I can't wait to go back. I can't say enough wonderful things!!

I’ve stayed in several places in San Pancho, and this was by far my favorite. The house is amazing, with a great layout. Whether you want to socialize with friends or find a quiet spot to read, this place has it. The pool and BBQ area provided a perfect place to relax away from the beach and let the kids play. The umbrellas, chairs, and bikes made beach days much more enjoyable. Deidre was very helpful and responsive to any questions we had. I 100% recommend staying here if you want to feel at home in San Pancho

Stayed with our extended family including kids/babies. We really enjoyed the space and private pool which was a great size for playing with little kids. The upstairs deck had beautiful views and was a fun place to hang out. The kitchen was fully functional and well equipped. Bedrooms were nicely laid out and clean. We enjoyed the area and the beach was beautiful. We especially appreciated the personal touches like books, games and speakers for music around the house. We would definitely come again! Deidre was really helpful and responsive.

Deirdre’s place is magical and just as described. It’s convenient, beautifully decorated, has great views and a lovely pool. We had 2 families with a total of 3 kids four and under and loved it. Deirdre was very responsive and also set us up with babysitting, kid gear rentals and her golf cart. Remember you’re in a small town in Latin America so it may be noisier than you are used to - just bring ear plugs/sound machine. Would definitely stay here again!

The guidebook Deidre provides is very helpful and thorough. The lovely rooftop terrace worked really well. The pool was great. The house was very well-equipped. We loved Marii's for breakfast so delish and healthy, Limbo (so good) , Su Pancho Madre (loved the vibe, the owner and the concept), can't miss Oyster Point for beachy hangout, the fresh oysters and fish, and the cocktails!

Casa Lagartija is magical! If you get the opportunity to visit San Pancho, this is where you want to stay. We had a multifamily group of eight that included three kids and the house was able to satisfy the whole crew. The pictures and description in the listing are completely accurate- the views are stunning, the pool area is awesome, there are multiple spaces for gathering but also areas for privacy, the decorations and offerings (from drinkable water to games/legos/boogie boards) had us feeling comfortable and at home (even though it’s nothing like our home!), and it’s close to town (basically in it) but not in the hustle and bustle. The convenience of the golf cart was just one more thing to rave about; it was handy and such a fun way to cruise around town. The hosts were responsive and helpful. They even provided a beautiful guide to the house and town! If this place is available, book it while you can!

We loved staying at casa lagartija. Deidre was very responsive and helpful. The house was well equipped, the filter water was a huge plus! We travelled with toddlers and she was very helpful in finding rentals in the area. The pool was perfect to hangout at in the late afternoon. House was a short walk to town, and an even closer golf cart ride. Will defenitly check availability for our next visit to San Pancho!

Casa Lagartija is amazing! It’s in a great location, close to town but a bit removed, on top of a hill. The golf cart is helpful to get into town easily. You can see the whole town from the roof while you watch the sunset. The house has so much space to spread out and relax. We spent a lot of time in the pool area, which is a private jungle paradise. The house was super clean and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The whole place has a super cozy vibe with great decor. We loved San Pancho with all the good restaurants, live music, and beautiful beach. Deidre was very responsive and helpful with recommendations around town. Homero was also very friendly and a great help. We felt super safe and I can’t recommend this house enough. We’ll be back for sure!
