This home is just absolutely stunning! The fact that you have the beach right outside is just amazing, and the beach was free of sargassum, lots of sea shells. It is very quiet and peaceful which also comes with minimum surrounding businesses. We rented a car with the company you recommended and it was a life saver. We would go into town to get snacks and food. It does get extremely hot and the living area doesn’t have an a/c so it was a bit hard to hang out there but other than that everything was perfect! Thank you for everything.

Plenty of space for one couple. Large family room just like photos. Beds slept very well and always had hot water. Luckily no power outages. Truly wasn’t warm enough to use pool or go for a dip in the water. But just hearing the waves and sitting out on the chairs was plenty. Generous with towels and paper products. Would love to return during the summer months.

We spent New Year’s at Sol Salon, and it was spectacular. The house has such amazing personality and sense of place — the total antithesis of the bland corporate Airbnbs that are seemingly everywhere. The house has everything you could want or need, and the location is incredible, right on the beach in beautiful, peaceful Chuburna. The property manager, Karen, also did a fantastic job checking us in and getting us oriented. Fantastic stay, it was hard to leave!

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay in Chuburná. The house was comfortable, clean, and cozy—perfect for our needs. It was great to have a nice beach area just outside of the house and the pool was always refreshing during the afternoons. The only issue we encountered, which is outside the owner's control, was the occasional power instability in the area. One night, the electricity was out for over 8 hours, and the AC in the master bedroom stopped working, making it quite warm. During the day, we also noticed occasional low voltage. Despite that, we had a great experience overall and definitely plan to return in the future!

Keith’s place is great. The house is really nice and just a few steps from the ocean. You can’t beat the ocean view.

Unique beautiful house with a stunning vaulted living room filled with sunlight and art! It was such a great space that we ended up spending more time at the house than we anticipated, lounging by the pool, and on the beach. A one of a kind experience!

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Sol Salon Beach House. The rooms were large, and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and we really appreciated the full, filtered water jug. The town of Chelem next door has options for fresh produce and delish homemade tortillas. However, a car will really make the trip easier to see flamingos, Mayan ruins, grocery stores, and cities like Merida and Progresso. The washing machine wasn’t working, but the property manager quickly responded and it was up and running in a couple of hours. Thanks, Keith for sharing you’re fabulous home!

I want to leave a comment to express how really happy I am with my stay. It's been absolutely wonderful days from the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The house not only matched the photos, but it was actually much better. Every corner of the property was cared for with great detail and care. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need to prepare any type of food. The living room was a real wonder: spacious, tastefully decorated. The rooms were simply spectacular, with comfortable beds and lovely decor. But what really left us speechless was the terrace. Going out to the terrace every morning and enjoying the pool with ocean views was a truly magical experience. The view was breathtaking and the atmosphere was one of pure tranquility. We had an amazing time with my kids and grandkids, and I couldn't have asked for a better place to enjoy our family.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It’s beautiful, decorated with lots of colourful art and figurines, has different lighting options and is very clean. The amenities like a washing machine and oven were useful. Few times we had wine and dinner by/in the pool, which is the best feature of the property. The sea is at the doorstep. It is completely safe and great for a family break. Chuburna as a place is quiet and relaxed, with few good eating places. Do have your own car to move around. Internet can be patchy but that’s okay if you are looking for a digital detox. I highly recommend the property for a relaxed family vacation. We would certainly go back when the opportunity arises.

Our stay at Casa Sol Salon was wonderful. We were beyond pleased with how organized and clean this artsy place is. Anything you need for cooking and good night sleep was there . Air cons worked great; we did not even use them much due to constant breeze from the gulf. Communication with the host and management was always helpful and fast. We would recommend anyone to stay there . The beach was deserted almost every day and we were swimming alone . Privacy and quiet was what we were looking for . And we got it for sure . There are some nice restaurants in Progresso worth trying which is 29 min by taxi. Perfect vacation villa. We definitely want to be back ! Elena and Andrei .

The property was very relaxing and just what the listing said it was. I have lived in 2 different places in Mexico but had not been to this area. We were able to enjoy the Ruins in Uxmal, and spend time just laying around. Perfect.

This house is an amazing palace, ideal for calm relaxing days. The rooms are spacious, cozy beds, beautiful furniture, every bedroom has its own bathroom. The pool is perfect to cool down, and the beach is nice for a sunbath. The neighborhood is very calm. This house is perfect for holidays in privacy. The kitchen provides everything you need. Big supermarkets are not available in the neighborhood, you‘ll need to drive to the next big village/city. Only criticism: If you don‘t check-in in the indicated time slot, you‘ll be charged an extra fee, which in my opinion is too much regarding the price of the house. The responsible people for the renting are though very nice and helpful! I would book it anytime again, it‘s absolutely worth it.

The house and what it offers is spectacular, the weather did not favor us the first days, but to take an attitude and take advantage of other places. It is a privilege to leave your house and step on the sea. A super safe, quiet place. Seeing the stars at night is priceless. i would definitely rent Casa Salon Sol again.

Amazing place. From the outside it doesn't look beautiful... Beautiful decor, paintings, handicrafts. Large, spacious and very well-equipped kitchen. Two large bedrooms with bathrooms and access directly to the pool. Very comfortable large beds. Breathtaking views. Feel the good atmosphere. The Team responded to every request. Working remotely here is a pleasure. Fast Internet. This is our second stay in Chuburna and if I had to choose, I would definitely choose this location. Greetings to the owners and team.

The house is very nice and matches the description of the app. The equipment is perfect and everything works great. Great experience and highly recommended.

Great place to sit back and enjoy the beach. The interior was very upscale and there something special about walking over the pool to get to the beach. Everything was as described and spotless. The chairs and sun cover out by the beach was the perfect touch for exactly what we needed.

Gorgeous house filled with stunning art. The. oven and stove are a bit wonky, require patience and a learning curve. GREAT VALUE!
