The kind bed was very comfortable and the rooms stayed cool. Smart tvs were nice to come to after long days on the water when wanting to relax. The mosquitos are horrendous on the resort in the evenings. Bring bug spray during the rainy season. Over all, very clean resort and nice hotel staff!

We had an amazing week at Jay’s place in Caye Caulker. The unit was truly the best location at the resort and had beautiful views of the ocean. Everything was clean and well stocked. Jay was very responsive and helpful during our stay. It was the perfect place for a family of 4!

My stay at Blue Zen Airbnb was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by how peaceful and thoughtfully designed the space was. The name truly fits—there’s a calming, almost meditative atmosphere that makes it easy to unwind and feel at home. The property itself was spotless and beautifully maintained. Every detail, from the comfortable furnishings to the tasteful décor, felt intentional and welcoming. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I slept better than I have in weeks. The natural light during the day and the tranquil ambiance at night made it the perfect balance of relaxation and comfort. What really stood out was how well-equipped everything was. Whether it was the kitchen, bathroom, or common areas, I had everything I needed and more. It felt like the hosts genuinely anticipated guests’ needs, which made the stay seamless and stress-free. Speaking of the hosts—Jay isfantastic. Communication was clear, prompt, and friendly throughout my stay.

Jay was amazing. His unit was immaculate and has all the basic items needed. Washer is very large, as was the dryer. (Bring your own supplies - which was conveyed to us prior.). Location on property was good. It is the first unit on first floor near the main bar and restaurant. Jay was amazing. Helped us get transportation prior to arriving and book excursions . He checked in on Is periodically to ensure all was good. The unit has amenities for four guests, no extras. However, the office was amenable and provided two extra towels for bathing. The location - is on the north island away from many restaurants. (There are a few) but night life is minimal. But… close to Bliss Beach which is a must for all visitors. My biggest issue was it is on the north island and not much around. But Blu Zen does provide a free shuttle to South Island.

Our stay at Jay's place at the Blu Zen Resort in Caye Caulker was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The property was spotless, fully stocked—truly outstanding cleanliness throughout—and it all made for such a comfortable and relaxing experience. The staff on site was exceptional: warm, attentive, and always ready to help with anything! The convenient complimentary ferry service to the South Island made exploring easy and added so much value to our stay. We also took the complementary bicycles to Bliss Beach one evening to catch the sunset. And, La Fogata Restaurant on site has excellent fish tacos! A special thank you to Jay, the owner, who personally went above and beyond to ensure our trip was perfect. His attention to details, honest recommendations, and genuine care for his guests really set this place apart. We recommend Jay’s place without reservations—this was a 5-star experience all around. We can’t wait to come back!

Jay’s condo was exactly as described. We enjoyed our visit tremendously. The pool was right outside our door in a good way. The restaurants were delicious. The ferry to the South Island was very handy. Do not hesitate to book! Jay is a fabulous host and a wealth of knowledge.

Blu Zen is probably the nicest place on Caye Caulker and Jay's condo probably has the best location in the resort. It's on the end, in the front near the water and dock, convenient to the pool and the Lotus restaurant and bar, but still quiet. The condo is nicely furnished, fully stocked, and comfortable. We enjoyed being on the quiet North Island while venturing into the Village often for snorkel trips and dinner. The Blu Zin ferry takes about 15 minutes and runs back and forth about every hour. You can also catch ferries at the Split. Loved laid back Caye Caulker, it's like Ambergris Caye was 10 years ago. The staff were friendly and the front desk arranged several snorkel trips as well as our transfers to and from the airport. We also enjoyed massages at the spa. A one-mile bike ride to the nicely landscaped Bliss Beach on the west side is worthwhile. (It's free, but they expect you to buy drinks.) It was a nice relaxing week. We look forward to coming back.

Quite literally the best!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Blue Zen. The condo was pristine, with perfect location on the resort grounds. Our host was very informative and helpful. Staying on the north side provided a tranquil setting with easy access to the south side via the blue zen ferry. The complimentary bikes were a big plus too. We would absolutely recommend Jay’s place for a peaceful family vacation.

Absolutely amazing place ! Jay's place had everything we needed. Fully stocked kitchen was great to make a few meals at 'home'. The beds were comfortable, towels fresh and fluffy. The best location; beside the pool and bar, beach front property and open on the left side. Close to the pier to jump onto the shuttle boat to the South part of Caye Caulker . Quiet and peaceful. I will be back to stay at Jay's place. I can't say enough great things.

Jay is the absolute best!! His place is picture perfect and just as shown in the photos. Jays place is my official home away from home. I have stayed at his property 2x now. And each time was perfect. My wife and I and celebrated our 22 anniversary there over the weekend and we had the best time. Jay and the Blu Zen top notch experience staff is friendly and responsive!!! I will be back in July.

Blue zen and the north side of Caye Caulker is a must see! Very relaxing and the locals are very friendly! Jay’s house is amazing! Well stocked and had it all! The pools were great! And there is not such thing as a bad meal!

Loved our stay. Can’t give enough compliments. Was the best condo at Blu Zen! Ocean front, nothing to the left, one of the 3 pools on the right, and close to the dock with the ferry to town. You won’t regret booking with Jay. He sent pages of information about condo and the area. The management on property meet us at the dock and was very helpful booking our snorkeling trip.

We loved our stay at Blu Zen. Lives up to the name... Zen and beautiful ! Only downfall was that it is a little far from the village, so make sure you line up your ferry times with travel accommodations or arrange for private transfer. We loved Belize! Unbeliezeable seafood, hospitality and charm. Will be back!

I needed a minute once we returned to be able to provide a thorough review. Prior to arrival, Jays communication was excellent. He coordinated a driver from the airport to our hotel for the night in Belize City and then another ride the following morning to get us to the water taxi that took us to Caye Caulker. Seamless. We arrived and were greeted with a free welcome drink & personal tour of our home for the week. It was BEAUTIFUL! Clean and very comfortable with everything we needed. Right on the beach and right next to a pool and bar/restaurant! It was probably one of our favorite hang outs the whole week. The peacefulness couldn’t be beat!! We rented golf carts when we wanted to cross the split to the other side of the island which had more going on (loud music, restaurants, shops). Overall, loved Jays place. Loved Caye Caulker and can’t wait to go back!! PS. Take a walk or ride down to Bliss Beach!! Only 1 mile from the bnb!

Jays place was absolutely beautiful and in such a stunning location. We spent 5 nights here with our 3 young kids and Jay was super responsive and helpful. When our flight to Belize was delayed and we missed the last ferry, he arranged a private flight for us so we could make it to the island our first night. When he found out that we all had the flu on vacation, he offered us a free cleaning to make sure we were comfortable. It was unfortunate to be sick on vacation, but so wonderful to be in such a peaceful, quiet and gorgeous location to rest and recover. 10/10 recommend this amazing listing and exceptionally kind host. ✨

If you are coming to Caye Caulker, pick Blu Zen! You will have easy access to all the restaurants, shops, boat trips, dive shops and ice cream in the South Island without any noise. Caye Caulker is our new GO TO destination. We loved the peacefulness of Blu Zen and Jay's condo was exactly as described. It may seem a bit complicated to get there at first, but Jay will walk you through the various options and once you arrive, you may not even want to leave! We traveled with another couple and felt like we each had our own space but the common area was quite comfortable for four. The condo is seriously stocked with everything you may desire. But more than anything, it's just a delightful place to get away from life and enjoy Belize.

The condo has everything you need to feel right at home, we really enjoyed morning coffee on the patio and found it very convenient when needing to catch the water taxi - it docked right by us and was always on time. Not only did he check in to share his insider tips on the best local restaurants and activities, but he also personally helped us book an amazing snorkeling tour. His thoughtful attention made our trip even more special! BluZen itself is a gem. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals, and the market was a lifesaver for picking up those little extras we didn’t realize we’d need. Every staff member we encountered was warm and welcoming, and the free ferry to the island's south side made exploring easy and stress-free. We can’t wait to return to this stunning oasis.

Both Blu Zen and Jay's unit were even more impressive in person. Truly stunning, superb crafstmanship, minimalistic, well-kept and clean. We felt right at home. Very easy to get back and forth to the main part of the island with the Blu Zen ferry, but also highly recommend renting bikes in town and taking the Rasta Ferry back and forth with the bikes. We only had two full days on the property, so unfortunately did not get use the pools, restaurants etc. but absolutely appreciated having a comfortable and well-appointed place to lay our heads at night (especially coming from staying off the grid in Guatemala the week before our stay). Exactly what we needed! And the welcome drink was a nice touch at check-in.

Great View, staff was friendly and the food was amazing, every dish. Pools right outside your room and cleaned daily. Bar staff was great and they kept the tunes rolling. Best tip is to BRING BUG SPRAY and have it on as soon as you arrive.

Jay was very responsive and accommodating prior to our visit. And once on site the whole BluZen Resort community was very welcoming and thoughtful. Greeted at the ferry dock with wet cool rags and rum punch before being shown to our accommodations. Every one was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed having free access to the bikes to ride up to the split to split ferry. We will definitely be returning ❤️

The D1 unit is the best unit in BluZen. It stands alone and is right next to the pool and outdoor bar and restaurant. The unit is just like the photos. Jay is very responsive and helpful. The BluZen team is outstanding and they ensure you have a great stay.

Blu Zen is truly special and Jay's place is immaculate. The resort staff were exceptionally welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Jay was always responsive and helpful with local recommendations. He even facilitated bookings for airport transfers and boat trips. Don't be deterred by the remote location away from Caye Caulker Village. There is a complimentary Blu Zen water taxi that runs many trips throughout the day and it only takes 10-15 minutes.

First off, Jay’s place is beautiful. The staff here at the Blu Zen is also great. They are very accommodating, they work their tails off, and they communicated really well. When we arrived, we were immediately told there was a wedding that night, right in front of Jay’s place. They said they communicated that to Jay, but it never got passed along to us. It was SO LOUD. On top of that, there were wedding guesting sitting in the chairs in front of Jay’s place, some of home repeatedly stood up and looked into the windows at us inside; very creepy. At around 10:30, the wedding party started their fireworks…right behind Jay’s place. It was insane. Being warned about the wedding wouldn’t have made us cancel the reservation, but it would have been nice to know. The unit itself is great. Breathtaking, unobstructed (when drunk wedding guests aren’t blocking it) views of the sea. The WiFi is great, the water was hot, the beds were comfortable.

Jay was very responsive and gave recommendations for excursions, which was nice. The resort was beautiful and the staff was amazing. the Lotus restaurant right outside the unit was our favorite and we made friends with the staff. I absolutely can't wait to go back.

This is a beautiful, peaceful location on the edge of the property. Each morning, it was a true pleasure to sit with coffee on the porch and watch the water and wildlife. It was the perfect size for my husband, daughter, and me. The beds are super comfortable. We appreciated having our own bathrooms and a washer and dryer. The 10 min. water taxi to and from the busier side of Caye Caulker was so convenient! The staff is very kind and helpful! I can't wait to come back!!

Nothing less than amazing!!!

This is really more of a resort than small condo development. And it's growing, so it's quite large, but the location is also very secluded and very private. It's also probably the most luxurious property in the entire Caye Caulker area, especially with a beachfront pool. Jay's condo is also the most secluded ground floor unit so there's no one walking by, unlike other ground floor units. It's right next to the pool and bar, which we thought might be noisy, but it's extremely insulated, so you don't hear any of the people or music from inside. We had small kids (9 & 11) so it was nice to be right by the pool where they could swim without us having to leave the condo or our nice porch if we didn't need to. Getting to and from the main island of Caye Caulker requires a bit of patience, since you have to rely on the water taxi schedule, but you can also use the Split Ferry which operates constantly (about a 15 min bike ride away)

We enjoyed our first time at Jay’s. It was a perfect place to get away and Relax. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone interested going to Belize.

Loved our stay at the Blue Zen. The location was peaceful and I enjoyed getting up and drinking my coffee on the front deck and taking in the view. We took the bicycles to the split when we wanted more activity, but loved the quiet when we returned to the lodging at the end of the day. Beautiful place and Jay is super helpful. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The kitchen is well stocked and we purchased fruit, eggs and cokes (for rum drinks) from their local store to supplement our meals.

This place is absolutely amazing! The unit is clean and has everything you need. The resort is incredible and the views are gorgeous. Jay went above and beyond to help us book excursions and get us where we needed to go. This place is honestly 10 out of 5!

Belize was a “bucket list vacation destination” and Jay’s place was AMAZING! Our family of four had our most memorable holiday vacation to date and were are extremely grateful to Jay for both his assistance planning excursions and his knowledge and recommendations of places to both visit and dine at were spot on. The Airbnb condo was immaculate, and the location right by the water was breathtaking. It is definitely worth setting a few early morning alarms to witness the sunrise as you enjoy a morning cup of coffee on the front sitting area. Our family can't thank Jay enough for his hospitality and we will certainly keep Caye Caulker and Jay’s place on our list to revisit in the future.

Jay was great to work through from the day we booked. Checked in to see if we needed anything or had questions prior to our trip and answered questions right away when we asked. The condo unit is clean, spacious and has all the amenities you could need for a week long stay. The staff at the resort were friendly, helpful, and always smiling. The condo unit is right at the front by the pool where we enjoyed the sunrise and sunset, live music at the bar/pool deck and easy to get to boat shuttle. Loved that this resort is on the north side and much quieter than the south side of Caye Caulker and way quieter than San Pedro. Was easy to take boat to south side for dinner or other activities. Lots of places to eat at. Blu Zen has fantastic pizza place (La Fogata) and the Lotus has amazing dinner and breakfast that we ate at multiple times!! There are kayaks available and SUP (to rent) but it was breezy most of the time we were there so we didn’t adventure into the ocean out front.

This place is everything that’s posted and more!! The only way to get around is by water taxi abd it’s complimentary from Blue Zen to Caye Caulker. The lotus restaurant has the most delicious food and friendly staff! The staff at Blue Zen are over accommodating! Book the boat tour with Carlos through Jay even if you don’t snorkel you’ll enjoy the boat and the peace-fullness of the day at Sea! THE BLU ZEN UNIT: Beautiful, spotless unit, beautiful pools. Our unit had every single thing you could need. Fully stocked kitchen, washer, dryer, refrigerator, AC in the living room, kitchen, and bedrooms all in perfect working condition. The patio is perfect with a perfect view. Jay the hist, is great and helpful. THE RESTAURANT: Excellent! Breakfast, lunch and dinner all great. THE MERCADO: was small and I feel could be expanded to offer more fresh foods, snacks, etc. THE PIZZERIA: perfectly good. A few things to note: To get to the Caye Caulker village, u have a few options:. The Blu Zen ferry. A short, 7ish min ride right from the Blu Zen dock. You can also ride bikes (free at the Blu Zen) walk (15 min but HOT during the day) or take a golf cart to the Split barge. You can load your bikes and cart onto the small barge for a 2 min ride across the split to the village. we took a cart to and from the village for groceries. I will most definitley return!

Location, Location, Location The Blue Zen resort is on North Caye Caulker. This is absolutely where you want to stay. Quiet, clean, semi-private yet just minutes from the split. Even better, this condo is 100 feet from the ferry, 25 feet from the pool, and 35 feet from the bar. This is the best building, in the best resort, on the best island. The inside of the condo new and upscale. You have a full kitchen, 2x full baths, washer and dryer, towels. AC in every room. Wi-Fi can be spotty. Go to the Mercado (local store) if you need Wi-Fi. It is well stocked (good cinnamon rolls, too). The only thing missing were pool-safe cups. Tips: 1. Rent a golf cart at the Blue Zen main office and explore swimming locations on the west side of the island. 2. If you book excursions, ask them to pick you up at blue zen. Most will. You can sit on your front porch until they dock. It’s awesome! 3. Go to Ice and Bean for coffee and donuts made to order. Chef Juan’s for Jerk Snapper.

This was a very lovely condo in a near perfect location with unobstructed 180 degree view of the Caribbean Sea. Very relaxing setting. The condo is exactly as pictured and very clean with comfortable beds. All staff at the resort extremely pleasant and helpful. Would definitely return.

Jays place is just as advertised—but the views are even better than you can imagine. He was very helpful with transportation arrangements from the airport to Blue Zen and also helped arrange a day of snorkeling and sailing—which was epic. We would definitely stay here again. The staff at blue zen were wonderful.

This was the perfect place for our ladies/family getaway. There are many great things to say about this place, but here are a few highlights: -The patio with comfortable lounge chairs were great for enjoying the view, sipping our am coffee and afternoon cocktails -the bathrooms made you feel like you were in a spa and were squeaky clean -the location of the unit was great! No stairs, which was helpful for my grandma, easy walk to the pool, restaurant and dock -the Blu Zen staff are AMAZING. They were so friendly and helpful.

We stayed at Jay's condo for 2 weeks. Jay met us at the ferry arriving to Caye Caulker. He was checking in with us to make sure everything was ok and had an itinerary of things to do. He was always very helpful. The location is gorgeous and his condo unit is on ground floor very private, no neighbors with a breathtaking 180 degree view of the ocean. It is about 50 feet to the ocean. The pool is just a few steps away as well as the walk in beach. The bar is also just a few steps. There are 3 swimming pools. The resort is small and each building has 3 units. I think in total there are about 10 buildings. There is a small shop for essential groceries and 2 restaurants. The resort is 5 stars. The people at the resort are very friendly and helpful. Jay is a great person, we are so happy to have met him. Created great memories for us. Thanks for the great stay we are very thanking for everything and hope to come back.

Jay was great he picked us up right at the dock, we had a few minutes to spare so he offered us a ride to the local grocery store so we can stock up on what we need. There’s a shuttle that takes you to the resort where the staff will be waiting for you with open arms everyone is very attentive and Jay was always offering us advice as far as the main attractions on the island.
