The place is super well located, the area is super spacious for children. Super well furnished house. Close to many restaurants and the old downtown for walking and nice to have a large garden for children to play I highly recommend it and my family and I had a great time! This place was perfect for my multi-generational family reunion! (9 ppl) Walking distance to everything in town but tucked away for privacy and quiet. The grounds were beautiful for family photos and Gustavo was always available to help! While we didn't need them every nite, AC's in the bedroom and the jacuzzi were great value adds for the family.

beautiful location, 5min walking distance from the entrance of Cerro De La Cruz and the Hobbitenango office. We felt extremely safe and Gustavo was absolutely amazing. Clean water was provided, kitchen was great, Excellent communication. be careful on furniture some are antique, there was not a warning and one was accidentally broken upon sitting, which we paid for(no big deal). This was our absolutely favorite accommodation while in Guatemala, and so walkable. There is an amazing Salvadorean Papuseria called El Carbonero down the street I highly recommend. If I return I would absolutely love to stay one of Maria's airbnbs.

Amazing Airbnb. Location was great, walking distance to the center of Antigua. Gustavo was great, so kind and helpful. We had a late check in and Gustavo was still very attentive. Great for families and the ruin was such a great experience to have available to us. This is one of the cooler Airbnb locations you will ever stay in and you will not be disappointed!

Beautiful and private property. Plenty of space for our group of 10. The ruins are truly special and peaceful. The air conditioning in the bedrooms worked well and there was plenty of common area for everyone to spread out. Gustavo, the on-site caretaker was very helpful and attentive. The house is beautiful! It has absolutely all amenities, the bedrooms are impeccable, it has a Jacuzzi and with everything you need for a good stay, the location is excellent. Maria Isabel was always very attentive and was very flexible with the check-in time, likewise Don Gustavo the host was very kind and thoughtful . We have stayed in a lot of airbnbs, but nothing has left us in complete awe like this place. The house was huge and the ruins were amazing. Communication was a little difficult since the on-site manager doesn’t speak English, but he used a translator app and we made it work. The value is incredible. Hope to return!

My wife and family stayed in this beautiful house for 4 nights. It was an amazing experience.

You can look for the place like the house of the ruin, it is a pretty nice place, definitely having a ruin inside the property makes it special, the attention was quite good from the caretaker, he made sure we didn't lack anything.

We spent a wonderful 4 nights in Maria Isabel’s gorgeous property and felt fortunate to have found such a place. The grounds of the property are beautiful, and the ruin is impressive! We were a big group and rented the entire property, and found it to be very well-equipped and comfortable. The on-site manager is friendly and helpful, and he connected us with local people to help us with cooking and cleaning, which was a huge plus. The property is well located and you can walk to anything in Antigua from there. My family and I would highly recommend staying in this property, and we would not hesitate in choosing it for our next get-together.

This listing is the essence of AirBnB for me. Beautifully unique and historically stunning. I cannot recommend this listing enough. Extremely spacious and fully equipped for any needs. The large jacuzzi is a major plus as well as the bikes. The caretaker was a delight and helped us with any needs as did Maria Isabel leading up to our stay. You will not regret booking her place. 15/20 minute walk to the square with an abundance of places to stop in between. Thanks for a great stay, we'll be back!

Best stay I've ever had in Antigua! A very nice and spacious house with an excellent location.

María Isabel is very attentive and kind; she helped with special requests and went out of her way to make me feel welcome. The place is one apartment of several on the same wonderful property, which contains the ruins of a Santa Rosa church. Amenities include a hot tub and private bar area, as well as an enormous TV, plus bicycles for use. A caretaker lives on site and is also very responsive. A truly unique experience.

Maria Isabel's house is perfect for family time. It is very well cared for, with all the amenities, clean and with details that make arrival happy. Maria Isabel had left us delicious banana bread. The green space is very spacious and the ruins are great for taking photos! Gustavo, the caretaker, was always attentive to everything we needed and always answered our questions, he is very courteous and attentive. I will definitely come back to this house when I go to Antigua.

An extraordinary place, excellent location (a few blocks from La Merced) and very well cared for. Excellent communication with the host. The house is full of special details. The place is very spacious for the whole family, spacious rooms, very well equipped kitchen, jacuzzi, bicycles, very beautiful gardens, and the impressive ruin of Santa Rosa de Lima. Pets are welcome. Totally recommended, we'll be back for sure.

Our wedding venue was cancelled a few weeks before our destination wedding and we were lucky enough to stumble across this listing. It turned out to be better than our original venue, Santa Clara. It is on private property and you have Maria’s wonderful help and local insight to make it all work out seamlessly! It is clean, beautiful, historic, and has all the amenities and more. Maria’s responses were quick and very helpful. She went above and beyond to make our wedding as amazing as it was! We cannot thank her enough. Our wedding was a dream come true.
