Great location! It’s located in a gated community which felt very safe and private. It’s a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Everything about the house was lovely—we especially enjoyed the pool and spectacular views of the ocean. We went as a family of 4 and each kid had their own bedroom/bathroom on the lower level and my wife and I enjoyed the master suite on the main floor. The beach was a 5 minute walk from the house which was super convenient. Every restaurant we went to and activity we did was just a short drive from the house. 5 stars!! Great place overall; we enjoyed the home, layout, and amenities. However, there were several maintenance and cleanliness issues during our 5-night stay. We had no hot water downstairs, the hot and cold handles in the upstairs bathroom were reversed, and the bathtub plug did not work. The Jacuzzi was intermittent and not fully reliable. There were also spider webs in the master shower, and the second master bedroom had a noticeable musty odor. The pool lights did not work, and the pool remained murky even after a technician visited to address the issue. This was disappointing as the pool and Jacuzzi were key amenities we were looking forward to using. Overall, the property has a lot of potential, and we enjoyed many aspects of our stay. However, given the price, we expected better maintenance and functionality of basic amenities. With attention to these issues, it could be an excellent Airbnb.
