Very nice place; we enjoyed ourselves with the family there for 10 days. Great place. The only thing that might have been an advantage would have been some curtains in the bedrooms facing the hallway. Otherwise, a great place. Lovely, with a pool and a roof terrace.

The house was gorgeous and had everything we needed. The proximity to the center plaza was perfect for quick trips to restaurants, shops, and live music during Meridafest. There was plenty of space for 6 people to spread out and also spend time together. The kitchen had everything we needed including purified water that was refilled when needed. The rooftop deck was perfect for coffee and drinks with beautiful sunsets. Highly recommend for those wanting to be in the center of a lively city. Eduardo, our local host, was incredibly kind, responsive, and caring. He made the trip such a success.

One of the most beautiful homes we have stayed at in Merida. As others have said, the pictures really don't do the home justice. In my eyes, it is a quintessential home that embodies the architectural history of Merida. The location is also almost perfect. Walkable to all of the main attractions and restaurants in and around Centro. And if you don't feel like walking, an Uber is just so cheap. We were there in the heat of summer and the A/C was sufficient. At times, having another common room besides the kitchen with A/C would have been nice, but we didn't find it absolutely necessary. The pool and courtyard definitely help out during the afternoon heat. The home was clean upon arrival. We stayed for six days and a mid-week pool area cleanup and pool treatment would have been nice, along with maybe an extra jug of water. We didn't bother Eduardo with it. The pool area just had some debris from a couple passing storms, not anyone's fault. Would definitely stay again.

The pictures do not do this place justice. There are a lot of rooms, they are connected in fun and curios ways, and each room feels like it has its own personality. The bedrooms, kitchen, and one dining room all have an ac unit that worked to keep things cool in the heat of summer. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. It feels grand and fancy just being in the house. The property manager Eduardo was polite and responsive and very easy to work with. We had a lovely time and I'd be happy to spend another week here. Some interesting points are that there are stairs required to get to all bedrooms, and that while there are a number of very lovely rooftop terraces, they are all accessible only by walking through one of the bedrooms. Also, some of the bedrooms/bathrooms have doors/windows that open into the house, so there is some visibility through the common spaces. None of this was a deal breaker for us.

We stayed at Bohdanna’s place recently for 8 days, my wife and our youngest daughter. The place was perfect, since both my wife and I had to work remotely a couple of days and it was private with plenty of space, and the place is so nice that our daughter enjoyed her balcony terrace suntanning and the pool. Great space in the kitchen with all the necessary amenities. Their property manager Eduardo was extremely helpful, we liked the place so much that we are already making a reservation to come back. Great location, we walked to downtown only a few blocks from the house, and the girls did a couple of tours and we also visited Progreso Beach a couple of times is only 40 minutes by car. The house is very comfortable.

Great location!!! Very clean house and matched the photos and description. Will stay here again, patios and views were extremely enjoyable.

I’m so happy that you enjoyed your stay. Please come again.

My stay was nothing short of exceptional. Nestled in the heart of the city's historic district, this enchanting property offers the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and old-world charm. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was captivated by the character and authenticity of the space. The traditional colonial architecture, with its rustic wooden beams and colorful tiles, evoked a sense of history and nostalgia that truly transported me back in time. If you’re seeking a memorable stay in Merida, look no further than this charming house. With its prime location, comfortable accommodations, and gracious hosts, it offers the perfect base for exploring all that this historic city has to offer. I can’t wait to return!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming Airbnb, and let me tell you, the experience exceeded all our expectations! The pictures online simply do not do justice to the beauty and comfort of this hidden gem. From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor was stylish, modern, and exuded a cozy vibe that made us feel right at home. The attention to detail in every corner of the house was impressive, and the amenities provided were top-notch. The location couldn't have been more perfect for our city getaway. Situated just a stone's throw away from downtown, we were able to explore the vibrant city life with incredible ease. The only downside we encountered during our stay - the nearby bar. While it didn't dampen our overall experience, it's worth mentioning.

Originally we booked a place for a month, but ended up moving out earlier, because couldn’t handle the noise of neighbouring open air night club:very loud banging “music”, people talking very loud, screaming, singing along- all that till 2:30 in the morning, after that- it’s cleaning. The host said that she wasn’t aware of the noise (we indicated that we were looking for a quieter place before booking),though mentioned that it was only on weekends when they were here. As it turned out- the problem is ongoing, neighbours are lobbying the city hall to have the club closed, but so far, it stays open. Otherwise, the place is nice, well stocked , clean, location is pretty good. The host was responsive at first, but after we notified her that we were moving out earlier, haven’t herd back. To note- we never asked for any compensation, nor we were offered anything, not even an apology.

Our house is in the middle of downtown Mérida and is represented that way on Airbnb. It’s walking distance to all the cultural events, all the best restaurants, live entertainment and night life that Mérida has to offer. If that’s what you’re looking for then you’ve found the right place. If you are not interested in these local activities, I recommend staying in a rural setting. If you Google search" best place to stay in Merida" the circle would be around our house. During the day you can relax by our private pool or take a three to five minute walk to the Plaza Grande, Parque de Santiago, Parque de Santa Lucía. Each has great restaurants for lunch and dinner and weekly cultural events. As a veteran Airbnb "Superhost" I am "Super-responsive".

Although the pictures of Cinco Robles look like something out of Architectural Digest, I can assure you this is not a bait and switch. It really is an amazing place with tons of space and an attention to detail that I've never seen before in an AirBnB. Plus, it is just blocks away from Merida's Plaza Grande. The only caveat is that the stairs are for real...and massive, so this won'r work for someone with a disabilty. That said, my 92 yr old papa climbed up to his room every night without complaining. So, if you appreciate beautiful surroundings and a great location, you can't go wrong with Cinco Robles.

The Stairway to Heaven lives up to its name! It was honestly even better than what we expected based on the pictures. The location is excellent, close to parque de Santiago with heaps of great places to eat and right near the Plaza grande with lots of shopping and sight seeing. The management company for the house was very accommodating and helpful letting us drop our bags off early. We were disappointed to find an undisclosed security camera overlooking the pool area that made us uncomfortable. There's also a slight privacy issue among guests with one of the bedrooms; if you are coming down the stairs from the master suite, you can see everything through the windows to the bedroom across the hall, so even when we had the bedroom door closed we felt we needed to hide when we were changing clothes. Overall, we would highly recommend this beautiful mansion! Fair warning, there are a lot of stairs that lead to all the bedrooms, so just be weary of that point if you travel with limited mobility. Bohdanna's place is fantastic; it is a very clean and stylish place and had everything we needed. A great place to stay with a big family or friend group.
