Thank you Sylvie for taking the time to review Casa Serenidad, we always appreciate honest feedback so that we may improve with each guest’s stay. We have made note to add night stands to each bedroom and will be adding them asap. It’s unfortunate you didn’t ask about a toaster during your stay because I could have told you about the brand new one in the laundry room immediately off of the kitchen. <br/>I’m sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy the remote location of our beautiful villa. The serene privacy and zero light pollution is something that the majority of our guests love most about their stay and while it’s a trade off for close proximity to spas and restaurants, it’s what allows guests to fully immerse in the true pura vida lifestyle. That being said, your review has given us pause and we will work to make our location even more clear to future guests. <br/>I do feel it’s worth noting that while the roads within our community are not paved, the distance between Casa Serenidad and the paved road down the mountain is 6 kilometres which is no more than 10 minutes. From there you are no more than 20 minutes from Ojochal which is home to some of the finest dining in all of the Costa Ballena region. It sounds from the review that you weren’t able to enjoy them, but most of them are no more than 20-30 minutes door to door, and are listed in our online guidebook available on the Airbnb site. Once again, thank you for your feedback as we take everyone’s reviews and suggestions under serious consideration.
