We rented the villa for my bachelorette trip. It is beautiful and spacious, and the host was very helpful and responded quickly to all our inquiries. Overall, we had a lovely stay and the villa was perfect for our group of 7. However, there was a burglary while we were out for dinner one of the nights, and all of our cash was taken. Guests from the villa next door told us that the same thing happened to them. Our unit seems to have only one security camera installed at the front door, and during our stay we did not see the security personnel that was supposed to be outside nightly after 7pm. This left us feeling concerned about safety at the villa and the surrounding neighborhood. Although the host responded to our message promptly after the incident, we wish that she had taken more actions to ensure our safety for the remainder of our stay. We feel that the host should increase the villa's security and do better when it comes to protecting guests from thefts/break-ins.

My friends and I went for my 30th birthday and we absolutely loved our stay! It was a gated community felt super safe. The place looks exactly like the pictures and made us feel like we were living the life. Phoenix communication was top tier and always gave me an answer within minutes. Very helpful with making reservations at beach clubs and excursions. Also , gave great recommendations. We had a blast in tulum and hopefully come back in near future .
