Absolutely stunning views, beautiful, clean pool, great great host. Added plus that there's security on site, it's gated. It's private, and still in the middle of everything, right down the street from the beach, right down the street from restaurants. I couldn't recommend this place more. It was stunning.

Cocoon was exactly as advertised. The view is the most beautiful I've seen. From the moment we booked, Jaime was our concierge. He gave us many excellent recommendations and booked excursions for us with his trusted vendors. He greeted us at the home when we arrived and spent time with us before we left. Excellent level of service. Some of the reviews mention the need of a 4wheel drive vehicle. We rented a 2 wheel drive small SUV and had no problems, even driving to La Leona, which I highly recommend. The sunset horseback ride was also amazing!!

This was a lovely place to stay! Host was very responsive and was present at check in to show us around and make sure we got in ok. The beds were comfortable! Soft and not overly firm. The pool was heated to the perfect temp to be refreshing in the hot weather and comfortable after the sun went down. The kitchen and living space were large, and had everything we needed. The space is private, so it doesn't feel like neighbors are right in your space. Close to town where there was tons to do - quick drive to get there. The house is in a gated community which was guarded making it feel extra safe. Towels for the pool were provided. There was also staff available that did our personal laundry from a reasonable price.

Phenomenal view, a beautiful and clean private pool and jacuzzi, kind and responsive concierge service and security. Would recommend having a rental vehicle to get down into town of Tamarindo. Cannot wait to return!

Great hosts and staff

Fantastic stay! Place was exactly as described. Spotless, tons of space. Beautiful pool and patio, with a sweeping view of the surroundings. We stayed for two days and wish it was longer. Also of note, extremely easy to get an Uber into town. Check in and check out was flawless. Would happily stay again when we’re in Tamarindo - don’t hesitate to book for yourself!

Casa Cocoon met and exceeded our expectations! A dirt and partially paved road easily managed with an AWD vehicle leads up to a gated community. Casa Cocoon has spectacular views, a peaceful setting with less than a 5 minute drive to great restaurants , shopping and beach. Jaime, our concierge, David, and Cocoon staff were extremely accommodating and helpful with everything from booking, maintenance and service, booking activities and recommendations for area beaches and local restaurants. There is a lot to do in the area. We visited a different beach almost everyday, went sport fishing, golfed, did the estuary tour arranged by Jaime and hiked La Leona Falls which is a must! We highly recommend Casa Cocoon!

This home is exactly as described, just no outdoor shower as advertised. Close to downtown Tamarindo but up the (very steep) hill, away from traffic and in a gated property. Tamarindo is a growing area so there was a fair amount of construction noise during the day, but it was not an issue for us. The beds were comfortable and the home was stocked with essential linens, games, and kitchen appliances/tableware. We loved our time here and already miss the warm air and incredible views. Though we did not utilize Jaime to book services for us, he was very welcoming, proactive, eager to make our stay perfect, and responded quickly.
