What a beautiful home in a great location! Everything was just great! Christina, Jaime and the rest of the staff were very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed and the food was delicious!

If you are reading this review, book this house! From the booking process to check out the experience was top notch! Jon and Sylvia were the best hosts that I have communicated with and they were so easy to communicate with. The house was gorgeous - open air concept, so comfortable, spacious bedrooms and the views were amazing. Easy to walk down to bars, restaurants and the beach. The house staff lead by Cristina made the experience phenomenal! From the moment the car dropped us off at the front gate they were there to ensure we had a great time. We let Cristina design our meals and make us her specialties and everything was perfection! This is the only place we will stay when we return to Puerto Vallarta!

An Unforgettable Stay! Our group had an absolutely amazing time at this incredible house! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond—welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Think of poolside margaritas, cervezas, etc. Cristina and staff made the BEST salsas and guac. They even made queso fundido. The house itself was spacious, thoughtfully laid out, and perfectly designed for a group. There is a good view of the ocean and don’t miss the sunset—it became a daily highlight for all of us. We also loved being within walking distance to the shops, bars, and restaurants. I would recommend having Cristina cook for you. Breakfast, lunch snacks and phenomenal 4-course dinners all so delicious! She’s an amazing chef. It saves you time and hassle trying to find a restaurant in town. Well worth it! We would definitely come back!

This was an unforgettable experience, from the attentive staff/cook to the beautiful space itself. We definitely plan to stay here again. It had that local look/feel, but will all the modern amenities. Waking up to a delicious breakfast each morning was definitely a highlight along with the pool and that patio space on the roof. The staff were fantastic! 5 stars. <3

Jon and Sylvia’s place was great! Excellent location, nicely appointed house, and the most amazing team to take care of you! Christina and Jaime are excellent cooks — chilaquiles for breakfast, taco bar for lunch, enchiladas for dinner, lots of guacamole, fresh salsa, and chips. We already booked our stay for next year!

We loved our stay at Jon’s place! Beautiful, authentically “Mexican” casa with 5 great bedrooms and bathrooms, lots of terraces, great pool, spectacular views and amazing house staff!

I stayed at Jon and Sylvia's place for 4 days, and I can confidently say I did not stay long enough. The house is an incredible space--it felt like home in a way that I feel really fulfills the promise of what an Airbnb can offer. It was a pleasure waking up every morning to take coffee in the outdoor living/dining room and look out over the city. I was particularly charmed by the rooftop roost, which is large enough to comfortably house two pool loungers and a small table, but small enough that it feels like a place you can retreat to for a chat with a friend or just to take a moment for yourself. Our group ate dinner at the house twice during our stay, and both meals were highlights of the trip. Cristina and her team are incredibly professional, though it helped a lot that we had a couple people with us who speak Spanish. Jon and Sylvia were also super proactive and helpful in advance of the trip, and their communication I really think helped us make the most of our time in PV.

Casa Ileana is a lovely place to stay with a group of people. With 5 bedrooms and bathrooms, everyone can have a little quiet space. The views from the main living area are great, perfect to wake up and watch whales out in the distance over breakfast. Cristina and the staff and the casa were so nice and would find ways to accommodate every request. Breakfast every morning was delicious and I’ve never had such good guacamole. The only negative was the steep hike and crossing a busy road to get to and from bars and restaurants, but you could always take a taxi for a couple hundred pesos and be there in 3 minutes. So even that has a solution.

Great place, great location

We have a wonderful stay. The villa is located across a road up a steep hill so bring sensible shoes. Christina and the staff were attentive and helpful. The place was spacious and well equipped. Views of the town and bay were lovely. Would definitely return.

The place was beautiful and even nicer than the pictures show. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The view was nice. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had dinner there almost every night and it was always delicious. Very close to town. Highly recommend!

We spent a magical 7 days at Casa Ileana. There were 9 of us and the layout of the house was perfect. Each couple had plenty of privacy, yet the common spaces allowed us to be together when we wanted to be. I can't say enough about Christina, Maria and Hymie. Christina's food was 5 stars! Having all the groceries purchased ahead of time was an incredible time saver! Overall I would thoroughly and unreservedly recommend this house.

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a unique experience within walking distance to downtown. However, we always took cabs up the hill (very affordable). Tons of space for everyone to have their own private time or gather and recap the day.

I am a sucker for architecturally delightful places and when I go abroad I don’t like to stay in another hotel or place which makes me feel like I am still in the US. So from that perspective, this home is stunning and one of a kind architectural gem which reminds of times gone. You almost don’t feel like stepping out as you would just rather enjoy the terrace and the home. In this sense a part of it is open to the outside so you have to be ready for that. Bedrooms are all private but there is a 50 feet metal grill that runs through the side of the home that is gorgeous but open to the outside air. The driveway is a bit steep but Sylvia went out of her way to get wheelchair organized for someone in my group who would have difficulty walking. Sylvia went out of her way to provide us an incredibly detailed itinerary for nightlife hot spots as we were celebrating a milestone birthday. She communicates extensively ahead of trip to ensure you are set up to have a great time.

I've had many stays at different AirBNB in Puerto Vallarta and this house was by far the absolute best. Everything from check in, daily service, the meals prepared, friendliness, and constant poolside service was beyond exceptional. I've already flagged this place as the only place i'll stay when visiting. The staff was absolutely incredible and the listing does not exaggerate- the chef's food is second to none. I highly recommend the Chicken Tinga tacos and chillaquilles at least once during the stay. The layout of the house is perfect especially for group of friends with a very great location.

If you want a memorable location for your beautiful stay in PV, this is the place. The staff and accommodations are top notch and the home is absolutely gorgeous.

The house was truly amazing and comfortable. The location was exactly what we wanted. The staff were so patient and helpful. And it accommodated 5 couples perfectly. I'd love to come back.

This review will be short and sweet because everything was great I don’t have much to elaborate on. What’s not to say about this amazing Villa. Food was excellent- we did breakfast lunch and dinner daily, views & pool were great. Rooms clean and large. Amazing location. Will definitely come back

Wow - what an amazing property. The photos do it no justice. The home is absolutely massive, and the house staff - Christina, Sylvia, and Axel - make a WORLD of a difference. My partner and I stayed here for our birthdays (around 10 nights), and we had friends join us from all over the US, some staying as few as 3 nights, some as many as 7. When someone left, the staff completely flipped the room the same way a JW Marriott would. The entire property was SPOTLESS every single day. If you like, Christina will cook dinner for you & your guests for a small fee. Even better, though, is that they will actually do ALL the shopping you need them to do BEFORE YOU ARRIVE. Typically, my first stop in PVR is the Costco or equivalent to have enough stuff to have creature comforts for the week. The staff did all of that for us. Seriously, this home is incredibly luxurious, well taken care of, an extremely short walk to Playa Los Muertos (Blue Chairs, Sapphire, Ritmos, Mantamar, La Palapa, literally everywhere you'd want to go in PV). 100% recommend.

Great home! Castle on the hill! Loved the pool and the staff were very nice to us all. Looking forward to Puerto Vallarta again very soon!

This home was absolutely beautiful. The pictures don't do the home justice at all! Magnificent views, amazing decor, and every amenity you could imagine. The staff was absolutely phenomenal. They were super flexible with our group and drastically improved our vacation experience. I highly recommend a couple of dinners at home as Christina and team were amazing. Think handmade tortillas and restaurant-level cooking! The location was PERFECT. A quick stroll to everything in Zona Romantica. Jon was super responsive to our messages and really took the time to provide detailed information. Overall, best host I have ever stayed with! I'd highly recommend this casa and will definitely be returning in the near future!
