I was never anything but polite to you in person or in messaging, and never tried to blackmail anyone about a review, and Airbnb can read my message and know better. I never scolded anyone about lights or AC, what I said to you was, "You left the whole house unlocked for eight hours, the worst thing that could happen is you return and find someone in the house, and there you are with your kids, these houses have been robbed in the middle of the day, especially on Sunday with no staff on the street." And I pointed at the house right next door, what was robbed in broad daylight a few years ago. You conveniently left out leaving the house totally unlocked in addition to leaving all the lights and AC running three times, literally 100 lights on, exterior lights in the middle of the day, what is not 'simple usage', it is outright disrespect bordering on contempt. And to further correct the record, what I messaged was that I really didn't want to leave you a negative review, asking if you might consider deleting your review, what I knew wasn't good from your conversation with my concierge, that we just politely go our separate ways, and I concluded that message with, "Peace, please." Now asking for peace is aggressive? And my $100 walkie talkie pool lights remote is missing with your group, what I spent 3 hours driving one way to buy, a full day of driving to San Ramon and back. If you find my remote you can mail it back to me, thank you. Your kids literally paw printed every window in my house, I had to hire a second housekeeper for two days because the house was such a mess. The real problem was that I dared to speak up, that I said anything at all. You would be furious if I left your big money house unlocked, or left your lights and AC on willy nilly, if I didn't respect your property whatsoever, you would be livid. Here you are trying to rewrite history telling people the house rules were missing when you gave them a thumb's up in our messaging, and you received them in the Arrival Guide. Also in the listing is that the laundry and bodegas are off limits, and every house on the street is the same. The house is a 15-minute walk to the beach down a dirt road, not the main road, my concierge or I could have explained, it is also walkable to another more secluded beach that is even closer. It is in the listing that the housekeeper works Mon thru Sat 7am to 3pm, and it is in the Rules that the housekeeper works a set schedule and cannot go home early. And the only time you saw me at the house was when I went to the house to wash your kid's sheets on Sunday, which you were advised of by the concierge, so there were no 'frequent visits' invading your privacy. Your initial request was for three adults and four kids, and you later updated it, and I missed the update, and I responded politely in messaging, "My mistake! My apologies! False alarm!" That sounds unwelcoming? Or that just sounds like a human who made a mistake and quickly admitted as much? Every incident you portrayed here is minimized, slanted and tilted, and you didn't even acknowledge leaving the house and gate unlocked and going to the beach for eight hours, but hey, you got the message and turned the AC and lights off that day.
