I can't say enough wonderful things about Carmen and her amazing team—Isela, Bertha, and all of the incredible ladies who made our stay so special! We rented the entire house for my sister's bachelorette trip, and it exceeded every expectation. The home is absolutely beautiful, thoughtfully decorated, spotless, and in the perfect location close to everything while still feeling incredibly safe and welcoming. Carmen's cooking was out of this world! Every meal was delicious, and the care and attention she put into every detail of our stay made us feel completely at home. The house was impeccably maintained throughout our visit, and the exceptional hospitality truly made our trip unforgettable. Oaxaca will always have a special place in our hearts, and this beautiful home is a big reason why. We can't wait to come back and see Carmen and her wonderful team again. Thank you for everything! We recommend this place a thousand times over—it is truly a gem!!!!!

We absolutely loved this place! The location and views couldn’t have been better. It was easy to walk everywhere in San Miguel, and we found ourselves walking through the park (steps away) every single day. The home was perfect for our stay - spacious but comfortable. If you’re traveling with a group and want plenty of room for everyone to relax and spend time together, this is an excellent choice.

Beautiful house in downtown San Miguel!

My coworkers and I needed a comfortable space to meet while also exploring beautiful San Miguel de Allende. This property was beautiful, comfortable, peacefully located next to a wonderful park, and walkable to all necessities. The hosts were very communicative and professional. They are experienced and thoughtful hosts! Highly recommend this amazing space!

A beautiful house and unparalleled service

This is a beautiful home next to a beautiful park. Just a short walk to the main plaza and chapel. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in SMA. Great breakfast and massage options as well wish we could have stayed longer. The fireplaces didn’t work for us so if you want to turn them in make sure you get proper instructions prior. Overall a really great experience.

Such a beautiful home - looked exactly as described and fit 9 people very comfortably. Street noise could be loud at times, but everyone was still able to get a great nights sleep each night. Very walkable, never had to take a car to get anywhere. Wonderful place, would definitely stay again!

The place is beautiful, just like the photos show. The rooms were very clean, the people who work in the house were always very friendly and always offered help with anything. My family and my now husband's family went for our wedding, and they helped us all day at the wedding. I thank you very much for your attention, if I had to return with an equally large group, I would definitely rent the Holt house again.

Beautiful property enjoyed by our large family including all ages. Comfortable beds. Pristine. Breakfasts were a highlight of the trip. Delicious and prepared with love! We have numerous family members with food allergies and the chef was very accommodating. All of the staff were incredibly gracious. The location is ideal for exploring Oaxaca city.

We had a wonderful stay and it was a great home base to play music, shoot photos, and walk to nice restaurants. Nice host, buena vibra esta casa. Definitely look forward to visiting again.

This Airbnb was incredible! I booked this place for my wedding, and I’m so happy I did! We had the entire Airbnb to ourselves. My family was so happy and comfortable the entire stay. And they are not easy to please! The staff were so kind and so hospitable. They made sure we all ate the wedding day — as people can forget because of nerves— and set up the entire house for hair and make up to be smooth and easy for everyone that needed it. We absolutely recommend staying here! We will be coming back our next stay in Oaxaca.

An incredibly beautiful home in a great location. We stayed for 12 days and watched at least 6 weddings in the park. The courtyard and rooftop were breathtaking and we spent most of our mornings sipping coffee on the rooftop terrace. Rufia was awesome, she was so friendly and even did our laundry. She really spoiled us! We will definitely stay again in the future.

Beautiful home, very large and well equipped. Great location, close to restaurants and the town center. Had some issue's with getting the jacuzzi heated but the host was very responsive and problem was fixed immediately.

Beautiful home, great for a big group. They came and cleaned each day and left it looking perfect! Right in town, easy to walk everywhere. The only caveat was the park next to the house was hosting wedding events Thursday/Friday so the music was very loud. But everything else 10/10.

Amazing space and incredibly fast communication from the Holt team! We absolutely loved our little villa and would stay here again and again.

We loved the location and Ruffina was amazing! Having filtered water was super helpful. Holt was very responsive and communicative. The only tricky thing was the metal grate in the street outside made the downstairs bedrooms loud at times but this is outside of their control I imagine.

This house was gorgeous! We loved our stay, very spacious, so much character, such a wonderful stay overall. We use the hot tub, very fun! They were very responsive to everything, the cleaning lady was wonderful and would absolutely recommend staying here!

We loved our stay at Casa Mi De Indepencia. The location is very close to all major sites and in a very safe feeling area. The morning breakfasts served daily were delicious and the entire staff worked to make sure we had everything we needed. We asked to change the time for our breakfast a couple of days and it was no problem for them. We highly recommend this property!

Its fantastic location by the Juarez park made it easy to explore town on foot. I loved how walkable everything was, and the art and architecture inside the property made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommend!

We attended a birthday party with friends and family and everything was excellent, it's worth every peso it costs, always aware of our needs. They helped me change breakfast schedules to attend tours and gave me incredible recommendations. In fact, my sister-in-law had an accident on the street and they provided everything so that she could catch up with us later. The place is quiet, it's beautiful, each room has nice details, and they have access with codes to the rooms and the house so you don't have to walk around carrying keys, which makes it very safe and comfortable. The kitchen equipment and rooms are truly unbeatable. I'm sure that even if we don't have the whole house to ourselves, we'll visit them again in the not too distant future!

We had a great stay in this beautiful home. We came for a wedding with two families and everyone said the house was amazing. The location is perfect in the middle of town close to everything. It's comfortable, clean and spectacular! We hope to return soon!

Great house

We stayed here with ten people for my son's wedding. It was the perfect option for numerous groups. We all had the privacy of our individual rooms but could gather together in the eating area or the central garden throughout the day. The location is perfect and close to town. Everything was within walking distance. It felt very safe and secure. The breakfasts were amazing! The staff was impeccable. Would highly recommend.

Our group of 10 friends had a wonderful stay with Holt in Oaxaca. Communications with the host were prompt and proactive and they went above and beyond detailing how to check in, amenities, recommendations, etc. The space was as beautiful as all of the photos showed and staff was friendly and flexible with arranging cleaning times and breakfasts. The villa is in a fantastic location downtown but still quiet and peaceful. There is private security in the entry from 7pm-7am which was an added bonus. The beds were so comfortable and we slept soundly every night. Our group enjoyed having the hot tub available for an afternoon soak after days exploring and before going out to dinner. Downtown Oaxaca attractions and restaurants are all within a 5-20 minute walk and there is a convenience store and bakery across the street and fabulous coffee just a block away. For a larger group I can’t recommend Holt enough for your stay in Oaxaca!

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful Oaxaca property! It was a small group of six, we rented the entire place for my 40th bday, and we felt so at home (or in the home we wished we owned 😆). The amount of space in the common areas and rooms was perfect, everything was clean, the included breakfast was a lovely addition and the staff were so kind! Beds were on the firmer side so if you’re particular about a medium or soft mattress you likely will be disappointed but I prefer a plush pillow top/medium firm and managed just fine. The rooms #1 and #2 are definitely the loudest so for the lightest of sleepers, rooms 4-6 are best. They do provide earplugs which is a nice touch. Can’t wait to stay at the other Holt properties in the future!

Fantastic place. We were in town for our son’s wedding. This place was perfect for us. Plenty of room for our family, and for the groomsmen to get dressed on wedding day. The location is great, right across from Parque Benito Juarez. I whole heartedly recommend this house.

For our large group of three families this property was exceptionally well suited, beautifully appointed and convenient to restaurants and stores. The central courtyard was a great location for us all to hang out together and we took breakfast together each morning. All in all an inspiring and delightful property that fitted our group

We went with a group of 13 people - 3 families. Plenty of room to be together or apart. Great breakfast responsible staff , they have a security person every night. It’s walkable to city center restaurants shops etc. we never took a taxi while we were there. Felt safe in location and walking the streets in the evening. Any issues we had were addressed immediately- which were mostly our group not being able to find something already on property. (User error ). Great find comfortable beds too

We have stayed in many AirBNB, but this one takes the cake! Location, amenities, sheer beauty. Looks even better than the pictures! We will be back for sure and recommend 1000%! Thanks HOLT team for a memorable weekend!

Our group rented the entire place - a great fit for our bridal party! Gorgeous interior and courtyard design, loved the breakfast service, very clean, secure and well kept. The best experience by far was the responsiveness, helpfulness and flexibility of the hosts. The HOLT team was incredibly accommodating to our constant requests of the space, making our group's experience beyond satisfactory. Thank you HOLT team for the amazing stay!

It was a great place to stay !!! Very beautifully decorated and spacious. Walking distance to plenty of restaurants and shops. Rufina was at the home daily for housekeeping and any other help that was needed. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely recommend the home.

We were there for a wedding at Casa Sierra Nevada where most of the activities were down by Restaurante del Parque. This was the perfect location for multiple families, and how beautiful the entire place was. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and also had a great breakfast one of the days. Would definitely recommend!

This was a beautiful home in a great location.! It was so easy to walk to all the wonderful sites in Dan Miguel. The breakfasts each morning were wonderful! We all had room to spread out and plenty of spaces to gather together. As others have mentioned this location can be a bit noisy due to proximity to a busy road. Management was very helpful and responsive throughout our stay. The hot tub wasn’t working the first night but they quickly got someone out to repair it the next day. Great experience with Holt!

Casa Parque Juarez is an extremely beautiful place to stay, we had breakfast cooked at home and it was delicious! Rufina it is the best!! The house is pristine, a place where I thought I could only find on my dreams.

Our group of 11 really loved our stay! Chef Juan put on a delicious meal for us on our arrival, and we felt right at home straightaway. We loved the central open tables in the courtyard, and Juan’s team put on great breakfasts, which varied every day. The rooms were cool and very quiet, and many of us commented on how good the beds were. It was the perfect stay for our group.

Holt's house was absolutely beautiful! The outdoor areas were exactly as pictured and our favorite spots to enjoy. The location was perfect and easily walkable to food and shopping. Rufina's breakfast was amazing and she was the sweetest lady! Our family made wonderful memories here!

They have something in this house that makes it more perfect… they give you the option to offer breakfast with a person who is there to help do it, it resolves in a lot your stay ! A truly beautiful property, we rented the entire place with a group of 12 and it was perfect for a week long birthday celebration! The rooms are sufficiently private you feel like you have a place to go to and relax away from others, but the common areas are so pleasant it's great to sit outside with friends/family. The location is pretty fantastic, easily walkable to pretty much everything in Oaxaca. There's a great coffee shop 1 block away that opens at 6:30am, tons of close restaurants, etc. I highly recommend having them make breakfast for your group, they were very pleasant breakfasts that brings the whole group together. Highly recommend!

This house in the middle of downtown Oaxaca was a dream come true. Although it felt very safe in that area of town there was also a security guard provided for the evening shifts to make sure the property with secure and that we were safe. The housekeeping staff were exceptional and beyond nice and accommodating to our needs. Make sure you try to speak a little Spanish, because not many people in Oaxaca speak English. It was so nice to have a cleaning staff on duty and have a pristine house to wake up to every morning. There are noise detection speakers and cameras in all of the common spaces in this house/hotel environment. Although this was a tiny bit unsettling, we never had any issues even though it was a 50th birthday party and we were a bit loud at times. HOLT was very professional to work with. I highly recommend this absolutely stunning house.

Casa Parque Juarez is a lovely home that truly enhances your overall San Miguel de Allende experience. It was just as beautiful as in the photos. We loved the indoor/outdoor living environment, the spaciousness over 3 levels and the sophisticated yet comfortable decor. We really enjoyed the rooftop terrace which was perfect for our morning Nespresso coffee and sunset happy hours. The pleasant housekeeper, Rufina, made breakfast and kept things clean and tidy throughout the house, all the while being unobtrusive; there were always fresh towels and beds made. It's rare to find short-term rentals with these included services. The location was superb. Just a 10 min. walk to the main plaza, it overlooks a beautiful park that has a walking path, basketball court and playground. We were lucky enough to observe a couple of wedding parties, mojigangas and all, parade through the park. And whenever we had any questions or issues, HOLT was always responsive. Truly a wonderful SMA experience!

An absolutely fantastic place. The location is tough to beat and is within easy walking distance to the center of town. If you want to stay in a beautifully restored Mexican Colonial home this is a great choice. The details of this home are absolutely beautiful. Holt also provides a housekeeper daily who cooks a delicious breakfast and cleans the house. After a long day of site seeing it was awesome to come home to made beds, and cleaned rooms. She would even make us guacamole to enjoy on the rooftop patio for happy hour. Absolutely awesome!

Our stay at Casa Juárez was excellent, we were able to spend a Christmas with family and perrihijos. Thank you Holt for always being available for us and being flexible before any request, a special thanks to Rufina who is very kind in addition to giving us a delicious breakfast during our stay. He took care of answering questions and making us feel at home. I highly recommend this house for family stadiums, the house is beautiful with a very AD hoc style and decoration to San Miguel de Allende, you are just an 8-minute walk from the Cathedral, you have a park in front of the house to walk or exercise. It's well worth it.

My family and I had an enchanting stay at Holt Oaxaca. The location was perfect for exploring the city, but the rooms and courtyard were so beautiful it was perfect for staying in and relaxing. The hosts were responsive and helpful, beds comfortable, bathrooms and kitchen clean and beautiful; the stay there added so much beauty and magic to our trip to Oaxaca. Definitely recommend to anyone with a large group who wants to be in the same place but each have your privacy and amenities. Thank you Holt for a amazing stay!!!

Truly bonkers. Holt really does hospitality, as if you were in a 5-star hotel. We did the daily breakfast that was delicious, authentic, and all sourced locally. Cleaning was complimentary and impeccable - not one person, but a swat team that comes daily or once during your stay - whichever you prefer. We went for the former and it was not intrusive, since we were gone for most of the day. Property was so cool - 2-3 blocks from the main paseo, completely walkable to every restaurant we visited. It also felt grand, with a central patio and surrounding bedrooms. Bougainvillea adorning the columns, fountains, good sized personal spaces for guests as well as communal area. We had one issue arise mid-stay that we were alerted of (electric outage on the entire block) that was remedied before we even got back! That communication and rapid fix is special. My ONLY hesitancy in writing this sterling review is that Casa De Independ will likely no longer be available for our return to Oaxaca. :-/

The home is extremely kept and the staff is extremely nice and caring . They take great pride in the upkeep of the home in the traditional style . The linens felt clean and fresh. Our stay at Casa Holt was great! It is a beautiful property. The house was very spacious, neat and clean. The location was perfect and very convenient to downtown , many shops and restaurants. The house has three levels so if you have mobility issues the stairs may prove to be a challenge. Rufina the housekeeper was amazing and an excellent cook! The communication with Holt was very efficient. Anytime we had a question they responded very quickly!

Casa Independencia was the perfect stay for our birthday celebration with a large group. Beautiful courtyard, clean and comfortable rooms, and quiet! Everyone was in love with the space. Some slight miscommunication occurred, but the Holt team was extremely helpful and responsive. The whole experience was extremely special!

The place looked straight out of IG. Holt was very responsive and even set up a few breakfasts for us through local chefs. The first one was excellent. The second not so much, just ok. The only negatives are that the beds are rock hard. I’ve never slept in a mattress that firm and it’s not comfortable. Also the staff come to clean the common areas and what should take an hour or so takes four and then multiple people are lurking about which was weird. Otherwise excellent place.
