Very good location and a huge house with an equally huge courtyard We were very happy and really enjoyed Alejandro's house. I highly recommend it.

The house is just as advertised. Very spacious, with comfortable bedrooms and many details that make it very pleasant. The living room and the patio have plenty of space for a group to spend time together. It's not exactly within walking distance to downtown because there are some hills, but it's very close. Uber and other transportation services are available. Getting around is very easy. We would stay here again.

It was a pleasure to stay at one of Ensenada's few mansion-style homes! The home was spacious and very accommodating to all our family's needs for the 6-day stay. The owner has adorned the home with various art pieces: statues, paintings, and oddities that would fascinate any art connoisseur and are sure to get conversations going. The owner was very accommodating with our family, allowing us early entry before the posted check-in, a late check-out time, and even allowing us to host a family/church gathering one evening without issue. Cons • The only real cons are that there were no ACs and it was a hot week, to say the least. The place had great ventilation once all the doors and windows were opened, yet at times the heat was a bit uncomfortable. • Also, the home was located on an unpaved incline road, and instead of a dirt road, it was more of a large cobblestone-style road that was extremely bumpy and slow to navigate at times. • The hot water was inconsistent at times.

Place was pretty dusty and the bed sheets had stains in them. Lots of the bath towels and hand towels had hair on them. One of the rooms slide screen door was broken so we couldnt keep the door open. Water took super long to warm up. I waited 30 minutes in the master bathroom and it never got warm. Just slightly not to freezing so I just hoped in and took a show. None of the bathrooms had conditioner. Only shampoo and body wash. Master bedroom ceiling fan made noise while its on, so super annoying at night since I'm a light sleeper.

Alejandro was a wonderful host. He kept in touch and provided all the pertinent information on a timely manner. Alejandro's house is spacious, comfortable, and full of beautiful art. The bedrooms are large and include anything you might need. The common areas are huge, with great panoramic windows to enjoy views of the city with the Pacific in the background. It also has a wonderful yard with large trees and a cute gazebo for cozy evening chats. The property is in the city but away from any noisy venues. It is still easy to get to any restaurants and even shopping. It was also very easy to get to Valle de Guadalupe and visit the wineries. This house is perfect for a large family or a group of friends. Next time we come back to Ensenada, we will definitely try to stay at this house. Thank you Alejandro! Sincerely, V Lopez

Awesome place and host!

WOW, the house is huge and very spacious, comfortable, and Alejandro's attention was very friendly. We loved the patio and spent a good weekend in the city, and enjoyed the house. I recommend it. And of course we will stay there again WOW, la casa es enorme muy espaciosa , comoda, la atenciom de alejandro muy amable nos encanto el patio y pasamos un buen fin de semana en la cuidad , disfrutamos la casa realmente la recomiendo y por supuesto que me volveria a hospedar ahi

We had a fantastic stay at this charming house! Its location is incredibly convenient—just a short drive to downtown and the pier. If you prefer walking, there's a delightful breakfast restaurant just a block away. The check-in process was seamless, and the house itself exudes a lovely Mexican charm. It’s very spacious, with a great backyard that was perfect for relaxing and enjoy the view of the city. The beds were comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. Alejandro, the host, was exceptional—responsive and helpful with all our questions. My family and I were thoroughly pleased with our stay.

What a beautiful home! My family plans a reunion once a year and this place was a gem. The house is spacious and the bedrooms have bathrooms. The house has several areas to congregate and enjoy the views of the harbor. The location is close to the Ensenada shop, the tourist area and the harbor. It’s also really close to the road that takes you to el Valle de Guadalupe. I really enjoyed how close we’re to everything. Alejandro was quick to respond to my questions and sent me a list of recommendations ahead of my booking. I will book this place again.

The house is great for going as a family or with friends. The rooms are very large and have everything you need. Upon arrival, the house felt suffocated (it was the month of July) but only by opening the windows is refreshed. I think the only negative and that has nothing to do with the house, it's the street to get there, it's cobblestone and it's a little ugly. If they want an airbnb where they can be there all day without having to go out, this is a very good option.

Great place and location!

This colonial mansion was absolutely PERFECT! I booked this for my birthday with some friends and we always stay in Ensenada. This was our first time on this side of Ensenada though, and it was so so beautiful. The house is very clean, overlooks the ocean and town, has a gorgeous outdoor area full of trees and grass for relaxing, and an adorable outdoor cat that we named Jimmy! Alejandro sent us lots of recommendations ahead of time and was even super accommodating when we ended up checking out a little bit late due to breakfast running late. We even walked nearby to a delicious breakfast spot, and there’s also an amazing birrieria just a block away. The house is very cool, full of interesting decor and paintings, and lots of communal places to hang out. I highly recommend this home. 11/10! It was one of the best stays I have had with my friends in Ensenada!!

The home is very nice. Wonderful artwork. Lovely garden and patio. Secure home and garage. No AC Not as much parking as described. ( As Desert Racers and Off-Road enthusiasts, we do have a different need for parking than most people would need ) Very noisy at night. Yes, its Mexico.. but the barking dogs, crowing roosters, and fornicating cats were on another level. Alejandro was pretty responsive and had great recommendations for places to eat and drink, especially in Wine Country. Its a nice place, but just not for us.

Great place to stay. Very spacious felt like a castle

The number of bedrooms and bathrooms in the house were ideal for our group and the house has plenty of space. Alejandro provided a prompt response to my messages/questions. There were a few items that caused the lower rating: garage hallway lights were burnt out, the main floor toilet was running when we arrived, a lot of bugs were in the house, one room leaked water from the roof, we had multiple cold showers, and the house floors were quite dirty. It did not appear that anyone had been in the house for a while as the clocks were not updated to the current daylight savings time. It was a good location and the garage was great for security of our vehicle. I would book again if the above items were addressed.

Great for a family to relax. Pictures are accurate, the house and yard is very large. If you like to cook, the house has about everything one may need to cook and having a gas stove is a bonus for foodies like us. The weather was pretty cold but there was enough heaters to keep the house warm. The garage is perfect for an F150 and a car to fit with plenty of room. My truck has a light bar on top of the roof and still fit.

Our 2nd time to stay here. Host went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we wanted or needed. Great place to stay and we will definitely be back again. Outstanding host

This house is HUGE and offers great outdoor space. Plus, we arrived from San Diego much earlier than check in because we had plans for a shuttle pick up to be at 11am towards Valle de Guadalupe. Alejandro allowed us to check in early free of charge, even with the garage door in the middle of being repaired. He also coincidentally worked at the first winery we visited where him and his family were super friendly! Only tip of advice is remember not to flush the TP down the toilet. Look forward to visiting again!

This house is amazing, it is a beautiful home with a great view (the pictures don't do it justice). Could not have asked for a better location or place to stay at. The house is clean, secure/safe, there is a 2 car garage and street parking, and its only a few minutes drive to downtown Ensenada. What I valued most though was the efficiency and quick response by our hosts. They responded to our questions and concerns shortly after receiving them, and made our stay a lot more pleasant. If I'm ever back in Ensenada, I would stay here again, no doubt.

Great location! We found Uber to be the best value at getting around town. Beautiful views. Secure. Hot water for the shower in master bathroom was disappointing takes a long time and I never really got hot water. Other guests with me on this stay said their showers were fine. We had a good stay and everything went very smooth.

Alejandro’s place is beautiful. It has amazing views and the home is very nicely decorated. The home was very clean and spacious. The only issues I encountered were getting there as google maps takes you elsewhere and we were lost for nearly 30minutes. When I reached out to the owner he was a bit impatient and stated that he was running out of battery on his phone which was a bit stressful as I don’t know what I would have done. Luckily we found the place but when we got there we had issues opening the home and garage door would not open. Thankfully the hosts brother who lives next door came to our assistance and helped us get in, and about 20 minutes later showed up with the correct key to the door. Once we were in everything was good. The home is beautiful, clean and in a great location, close to everything.

Very big house, easy check in, good host.

This home is absolutely beautiful!! Pictures don’t do justice. The inside and outside of this home is breathtaking. (The view is incredible). The home is located in a great area, felt safe and so close to many shops. A big group of us stayed here for one night and Alejandro went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay by checking in on us and recommending his fav spots. He was quick to response To any question I had. Hands down will be staying here again.

Awesome house! Place was very large and fit 8 of us comfortably. I loved the side yard area and the long wooden table. Kitchen is fully stocked and there was room for our two cars in the garage. House is a short drive from the wineries, we went on both days! Alejandro was very nice, he even recommended a winery for us to check out. The keyless entry was helpful, we just had to punch in the key code to get inside the house. We felt safe in the neighborhood as well. Definitely recommend!

This house is even better than the pictures make it out to be which is hard to believe. We had an amazing time and comfortably had 8 people in there without getting in each other’s way. The drive up had us a little worried at first with the unpaved roads and general feel of the neighborhood, but the house was spectacular and we felt very safe once inside. Would definitely stay here again and recommend this house to anyone!

The house is very large with plenty of room in the kitchen. The only complaint that I have is that apple maps could not locate the house. The street with Airbnb is listed as doceava and it’s actually Calle 12. We later used google maps and eventually found it. The hot water takes a long time to get going and is more like lukewarm. I would stay there again and the Uber trip to downtown was only $6. They have a delicious taco shop just down the street and walking distance.
