The information shared before our arrival was very useful to us (e.g., restaurant recommendations, etc.)! We were able to take possession of the villa before the scheduled time as it was empty, and the property managers were very helpful and responded very well to our few requests. It was really appreciated! In addition, the accommodation would need repairs: the villa's automatic gate remains stuck, bathroom doors don't close, faucets leak, sliding doors slide with difficulty, there are no blackout curtains in the bedrooms, the air conditioner remote controls work sporadically, etc. We liked the space and location of the villa but were disappointed with its lack of maintenance.

Casa Clancy was just perfect - the pool and backyard are gorgeous and serene. The house is very clean and comfortable, and in a quiet part of Tamarindo, though still an easy walk into town, even with younger kids. We walked every day to the beach, to restaurants, to an estuary tour, and to Playa Grande. Sandi and Robert are very attentive hosts and offered many suggestions ahead of time. The property manager truly is a gem, and super responsive - when our flight/arrival to Costa Rica was delayed by a day, he rescheduled our transportation from the airport with no problem. The shuttle driver was awesome too! All around an awesome trip to Tamarindo!!
