The stay was very pleasant. During our visit, we made some comments about a problem in the shower, and the hosts took care of it immediately. We really appreciate your quick response and willingness to resolve any issues. Definitely excellent service.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Bravo. The place itself is exactly as described and even nicer in person, from the private bedrooms, the interior courtyard and amazing roof. The location was perfect and central and lots of handy spots for things like coffee or laundry right there. Gabriela was so kind, communicative, and helpful throughout. Hope to stay again!

Loved staying at Casa Bravo, it was very clean and comfortable and Gabriela was very communicative and responsive. The patio was adorable and perfect for morning coffee and the location was very central and convenient. I would stay here again!

Gabriela was a fantastic resource for us. She would provide suggestions for us regarding restaurants and tours to take. When it was time for us to leave, she arranged a taxi for us which was extremely helpful. She was a pleasure to work with. Very dependable and committed to giving us a great experience.

We had a great stay at Casa Bravo. What stood out was the central location - walkable to everything and very safe - how charming it was decorated, the hammock and terrace and Gabriela was a terrific host - great information, showed us how the house worked, and responsive to (minor) issues. That said, know that sound carries both from the street and within the house, there are skylights so room brightened around 7am, and there is no temperature control - in December not a big deal but mornings and evenings we needed our coats in common spaces outside bedrooms (which were warmer). If we could have given 4.5 stars we would but Gabriela was such a great host we bumped the review up.

Beautiful place to visit Oaxaca.

Gabriela’s place was beautifully appointed and contained all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The location was great, in walking distance to many things while at the same time being relatively quiet. Gabriela greeted us when we arrived and was always very responsive to any questions we had. We had challenges with the internet and she tried multiple times to address them. While the internet did not work for most of our stay, it was not such a big deal for us. I would highly recommend staying at Gabriela’s place when visiting Oaxaca.

The house is wonderful. Upon entering the door, a very nice patio opens up from which the rooms and kitchen are distributed. The place is even better than the pictures. And the terrace upstairs is spectacular. It was ideal to go with my family.

What a wonderful home! This is my sixth time to Oaxaca, and I can honestly say this is the best accomodations to date. The home is beautiful and clean, with a perfect rooftop veranda for sipping coffee or cocktails. The location could not be better, with multiple coffee shops, bakeries, taco stands and cocktail lounges within a block or two. Just a moments walk to Santo Domingo, you can get anywhere in Oaxaca within ten minutes of Casa Bravo. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to visit again.

Gabriela greeted us upon arrival to show us the house. It’s nicely decorated and very well situated to walk/visit Oaxaca City center. The roof terrace was great to enjoy for an evening snack. Excellent coffee/breakfast just across the street and laundry facility around the corner. Hot water wasn’t an issue when we were there. Highly recommend.

Gabriela’s place was incredible and I’d say better than the pictures. The place was clean and had everything we needed. On top of that she was so helpful with many amazing recommendations for us to maximise the time we had in Oaxaca. I will definitely stay here again when I am back next!

Casa Bravo is located in a great location a few blocks from El Centro. The area is walkable with a cafe around the corner! The house was clean, each bedroom had its own bathroom, with its private key entry. Although there is no indoor living room, the rooftop patio is where you want to be during any downtime, morning coffee, or sunset Mezcal sip. I would absolutely stay here again!

Location, location, location!!! This place is amazing. EVERYTHING is so close!! The center of town is blocks away. Restaurants blocks away. Coffee shops blocks away. 20 Novembre market blocks away. It was just perfect. The home was incredibly nice. Each bedroom has its own bathroom plus there is a separate bathroom in the common area. The bedrooms don’t have AC but there are fans provided in each bedroom. The upstairs patio was so nice. We had late nite tacos and tostadas up there one night with city lights surrounding us. Coffee in the mornings up there was so relaxing. The home is extra secure with locks on all doors and the front door is also very secure. The surrounding neighborhood is very safe. My daughter and sister law felt safe walking to their hotel up the street by themselves. I would recommend this place to anyone.

We loved staying at Casa Bravo! We were traveling with our two adult daughters and a friend. We had plenty of room, everything was clean and beautifully decorated. There is easy access to all the highlights in Oaxaca City. We spent our days exploring the city and small towns surrounding it, then rested in the courtyard, our rooms, the rooftop or the kitchen at Casa Bravo before heading out again for the evenings. Oaxaca City is also a delight; so many museums (most are free), shops with beautiful crafts and amazing food (both the restaurants and street food). Highly recommend!

My adult daughters & I stayed here for a week & it couldn’t have been better. We had both privacy & could gather as a group in the kitchen área or outside. Gabriela was responsive & generous, going above & beyond by gifting me a birthday cake. This is a beautifully designed space in a great location. I would definitely stay here again

Wonderful traditional-style house in El Centro of Oaxaca City. We loved the open air courtyard and amazing roof deck with views of surrounding mountains and downtown churches. Within walking distance of most of the city with many close by restaurants, cafes, bars and galleries (check out Salon De La Fama on the corner for some sweet dive bar action). Bathrooms are clean and modern with nice large rainfall showers. Only downside may be the quality of the mattresses. The bedrooms could also use some fans for air flow at night. Besides a couple small things Casa Bravo is a prefect location from which to experience all that Oaxaca has to offer & we would definitely stay here again when we return!

This is a perfect bnb for someone needing 2-3 bedrooms with separate bathrooms. The bedrooms are spacious and the kitchen is complete. There is so much great food within 1 block that we really did not use the kitchen that much. The bathrooms are also a good size and nicely designed. As mentioned in the other reviews, the rooftop deck is quite lovely with expansive views even though it really isn't that high. There is a nice seating area there. The neighborhood is quite secure and safe for walking at night. It is not noisy there. It is located 5 minutes walk from all the major areas of central Oaxaca and 10 minutes from the Zocalo plaza and also Xochimilcho a beautiful area and 15 from Jalatlaco another distinct neighborhood worth a visit. Bars and restaurants are all around. Gabriela is a very active and responsive host with lots of local suggestions. We enjoyed our stay very much and would return

Gorgeous space - perfect for a family or group of friends travelling together. Private, quiet and secure yet located in the heart of Oaxaca with a fabulous rooftop for lounging and watching the sunset. Gabriela is a terrific host. Her property is a homage to the Mexican hacienda in the city. The rooftop and garden stole the show! There are subtle touches of lighting and architectural design that make this property special. The clay planters containing the gorgeous cacti and house plants exalt the ambience and infuse it with life. We were delighted to have filtered water during our stay! Thank you! There are some thoughtful appreciated touches like make up remover, beautiful lighting on the rooftop. A mid week clean was offered - very appreciated! We had a great time here. This is a noisy location exacerbated by the open architecture. We all had trouble sleeping. Bring ear plugs! Few suggestions from one host to another: 1. Clear the kitchen of mostly empty alcohol bottles. 2. 6 proper yoga mats for the max # of guests - rooftop is perfect for yoga!🧘‍♀️ 3. Hair conditioner in every bathroom. I don’t know any women who don’t need hair conditioner. We are at least 5

A lovely place in a great, convenient to everything. Multiple excellent restaurant and coffee shops within a couple of blocks. Easy to get to everything in Centro. Gabriela was friendly and responsive. Recommended!

Clean, Gaby is very friendly. I'm going to explain it all. Flexible hours to get in and out. Three large rooms to girls. The girl with a small bathroom. A lot of noise is heard from the main room with the one next to it. Which can be uncomfortable as they seem to be inside the room talking with you. We went as a family and we didn't care but the mornings we had to talk very left and the nights also since we would have woken each other up.

Gabriela was an extra special hostess, she was very accommodating and helpful. The house is located a block from our two favorite restaurants and close to everything else. The beds are small, full size, maybe a queen bed. However, the house itself is beautiful, had a bathroom for each bedroom, plus a rooftop! We’d go back for sure.

Gabriel’s place was a lovely oasis for us. Wonderful to have so much outside space to enjoy right in the middle of the city. And the bedrooms and indoor spaces were very comfortable, as well. Even a n office with a desk to get a little work done. Perfect location for exploring the city. Not an extensive kitchen facility, but enough for frying up a couple of eggs or making some coffee, etc. We will definitely stay here again next visit if it is available.

This is one of the best Airbnb properties I have ever encountered in all of my travels. Gabriela (who is an architect and designer of this property) provided personalized attention from the moment we arrived providing every bit of information we needed about the property, Oaxaca, as well as activities and details of where to go around the city. She is a very conscientious host and made sure that the always had all of our needs met. The pictures of the property are exactly as depicted. It is an elegant colonial-style house with individual rooms (and keys) for all guests. It is located North of the Zocalo and only about 3 blocks from the corner of Allende and Alcala streets, a hub for all evening activities. Although you are so close to everything, all rooms are very tranquil and comfortable. Each room has with it's own internal (and elegant bathroom). The view of the rooftop terrace at night is outstanding. This is a very special Airbnb.

Great accomodation with an awesome rooftop terrace. The accomodation has an awesome Mexican design and various sitting options to enjoy the shadow during the day. The main spots in Oaxaca are in walking distance. Gabriela is a great host who cares a lot about the needs of her guests and had many useful tips.

Casa Bravo couldn’t be in a better location to all the best restaurants and tourist attractions yet it was far enough away from the city hustle and bustle. We enjoyed coffee on the rooftop every morning, reading in the hammock and also how every room felt like your own place. We can’t wait to return and stay here again!

This was an absolutely wonderful experience… Gabriela was so helpful and attentive. My flight was delayed and bag missing and Gabriela was helpful and waited late to come show me how to get in the air Bnb. The pics of the roof upstairs don’t do justice of how beautiful, peaceful, comfortable it is up there. I felt very safe the whole time. All walking distance and near beautiful restaurants. 10/10. Bedrooms were cute and all had a bathroom- all felt very clean. I would totally stay here again.

We had a wonderful few days at Gabriela’s place. It’s even nicer than the photos with lots of thoughtful touches throughout and the roof terrace is amazing for relaxing in the evening. The location is super central and walkable to the historic sites, great shops, bars and restaurants. The only downside being traffic noise but it didn’t bother us too much. Definitely my favorite Airbnb in Oaxaca! The house is in a perfect location, close to Santo Domingo, downtown, museums, shops and restaurants. The house is very spacious and each of the rooms has its own bathroom. The kitchen is large and has the essentials in case you need to cook. We only used the coffee maker. The patio and the upstairs terrace are perfect to enjoy at any time. Gabriela made us feel at home from the moment she welcomed us. Thank you for everything!

We just spent a couple of days in Gabriela’s beautiful home. Everything was impeccably clean, the location was absolutely perfect and we can’t wait to go back. The views from the terrace were amazing and there are great shops and restaurants all within walking distance. The Zocalo is within walking distance as well and Santo Domingo church is so close. We loved walking around in the area and there is lots of art all around there. The entrance offers a nice seating area and the open space above you offers a great airy feeling. Overall, it was a great experience and we can’t wait to return.

Beautiful and spacious, this is the place you want to stay if you are planning on exploring the Centro. We enjoyed the peaceful spaces inside and the rooftop as a retreat from our many activities. Very safe and clean, nice kitchen and bathrooms and comfortable beds, everyone was very happy with our choice. Gabriela is the perfect host and checked in with us to make sure all was well and she was extremely accommodating. We’ll definitely be back to stay at Casa Bravo.

Casa Bravo is walking distance from excellent cafes and restaurants. The space is lovely and the deck very pleasant to spend time on, especially with our morning coffee and pastries from a nearby cafe. The kitchen is small and,without an oven, not suitable for preparing large meals, but we aimed our larger meal to delicious nearby Mexican restaurants anyways. Gabriela was pleasant and responsive to our needs. While I was inattentive when arriving at night and had my briefcase stolen, this was before arriving at 311 Caso Bravo,. What a great spot in Oaxaca! Gabriela is fantastic and super responsive and helpful. The home is close to everything and within walking distance of everything in downtown Oaxaca. The home is beautiful too--even better than the pictures --and the upstairs roof/lounge area was a real treat. We hope to return someday!!!

Traveling with my wife and two teenagers, this was the perfect place to stay where we all had our own rooms with private bathrooms. The rooftop terrace is spectacular, and the location is walkable to everything in the city center. Gabriela is an excellent host who was very quick to respond to any question we had. This is the second time my family and I stayed here, and if we visit Oaxaca in the future, we would stay here again!

Our group of 6 loved Gabriela’s property! Each of the 3 rooms were beautifully decorated and had they’re own private bathroom. The location was perfect, everything we wanted to do was easily walkable. We also really loved the terrace! Great place. Not a ton of place to chill, other than the patio. Don’t plan on cooking there, tiny kitchen. We were on the go and the location was great. If you’re sensitive to sounds at night, might not be a good choice. On a main road.

Wow Gabriela's place was STUNNING. The location was perfect for exploring Central Oaxaca. It was peaceful and welcoming as well as being stylish and modern. All of the bedrooms were a good size, the beds were comfortable and the showers were great. The outside spaces were beautiful. Gabriela was very responsive when we had a small issue. She was very helpful and friendly. We had a wonderful stay.

A perfect Airbnb experience! The house was even more beautiful than advertised with an excellent location and very communicative hosts. Be sure to bring earplugs as all of the center of Oaxaca is quite loud — we were fine with the ones we brought. The view from the roof was amazing!

Grabarla’s place is amazing, centrally located, close to all the best places in Oaxaca. Communication was easy and prompt. The house is gorgeous with beautiful decor. Everything is great but I must say that the terrace was my favorite, well ventilated and amazing visor Oaxaca. I would highly recommend it and definitely would stay again.

This a great place to stay. Wide open spaces. Gorgeous rooftop and it's close to everything (within 2 to 15 min walking). The beds were comfy and we had good water pressure. It was a nice touch to have a fresh water dispenser too. Loved the art work and the decor.

Gabriela's place is beautiful and clean. It is in a part of town that allowed us to walk everywhere. We loved hanging out on the patio and in the courtyard and having coffee and pan for a pre-breakfast snack in the kitchen. Everything was perfect and Gabriela was an amazing host.

This house was perfect for my family and I. Traveling with my wife and 2 teenagers we had plenty of space, the kids had their own rooms and bathrooms, and the location was in walking distance to everything we wanted to do locally (along with easy access to transportation to other things outside the city like Monte Albán). The rooftop terrace was a great starting and end point to each day as well. Great view to relax with a coffee or a beer break and take in the view of the Templo de Santo Domingo. The house provides a lot of shade so despite the heat outside we never felt too hot inside. Gabriela is a first class host, very responsive and helpful to us throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this place, and I would love to stay again next time I visit Oaxaca!

I rarely write reviews, but in this case, there’s a true 5-star find. Gabriela was wonderful, and the house itself far exceeded our expectations. The rooftop and the open air courtyard were lovely additions to the comfortable, clean, and tastefully-styled rooms. The location was central but on a quieter street away from the bars. Despite some nearby construction during the day, we still managed to take our siesta. While I was at first hesitant to book given the price, I definitely think Gabriela’s is a nice, private alternative to some of the nicer hotels in town. I hope to be back.

What a gem we discovered in the heart of the Oaxaca historic district . Gabriella’s place is highly recommended. Modern, tastefully designed and decorated , and very close to everything. The location of this home is ideal! It’s two blocks from Santo Domingo and some of the best restaurants and coffee shops in Oaxaca. The rooftop of this home also has some of the best views of the city at night or during the day. The house itself is very clean and it feels very secure. My family of six were able to enjoy a few nights at Gabriela’s wonderful home during our stay. Gabriela is also very attentive and quick to respond. Overall it was a great experience to stay here.

This is the perfect Airbnb for a larger family traveling together. The 3 separate bedrooms are all super cute and have a private bath. The patio is gorgeous and the interior courtyard is charming.
