Super convenient location, clean, and A/C in bedrooms for warmer nights. Although it's located on a main street, you can't hear much at all with the windows closed -- plus traffic dies down in the evening. Would recommend!

Our stay was simply amazing. The apartment has all things necessities for your stay. Location was perfect. Decor was modern and the shower pressure was phenomenal after exploring during the day. Host was very tentative in communicating before and during stay. Really enjoyed having space to park the golf cart. Location is very safe and secure would definitely 10000% book again.

Melinda was awesome! She was quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had. She also offered to pick us up from the airport, gave us a quick tour of San Pedro and then drove us to the airport when we left. You can't beat the location - walkable to anywhere in town. Yes, there was some street noise but that is to be expected when staying in a city/town. I would highly recommend Melinda and her place to anyone visiting San Pedro!

The accommodation was a perfect place to stay for a few days. Very spacious and has everything you need. It is close to a lot of restaurants and relatively close to the beachside. The host was quick in responding to concerns and questions. Would recommend booking if in San Pedro

Great stay especially if you got family in San Pedro love the location was Central in town has its own private parking clean and organized. Love that there’s a café right downstairs that has phenomenal food.

Great host! Melinda was extremely responsive, answered all questions, provided recommendations, and help coordinate activities. Place was super clean and centrally located. Very convenient to everything we wanted to do. Neighbors dogs consistent barking at all hours was inconvenient but not much you can do about that except pack some ear plugs. Would definitely recommend & stay again when in San Pedro.

We really liked our stay here! We were picked up from our water taxi and showed around on our way to the Airbnb. Javier was so nice and had great recommendations. The Airbnb was located just a block from the water and had tons of great restaurants and bars close by. The place was comfortable, we would stay here again!

Melinda went above and beyond. She had helpful recommendations for renting golf cart,restaurants and adventure booking. She offered us a ride from water taxi and to the airport. The parking behind the building was convenient and the ability to walk to the beach and shopping was great.

The place was very convenient except some noises during the morning (some huge car come and go, but the noisy level are acceptable!). Overall, it was great place for people who want to live near downtown.

We loved staying at Melinda’s. From the moment she met us at the ferry terminal to being available any time we reached out. She had all sorts of recommendations, information about the island and was so helpful. We had a wonderful time in the surrounding areas and always appreciated coming back to a clean safe space for our family. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

My first time visiting San Pedro and couldn’t have gotten a better location to stay at! Everything was nearby and loved the coffee shop that’s located downstairs of the Air BnB. Very spacious apartment, was bigger than I expected! Loved it. Can’t wait to book my next vacation again.

Melinda was the best host we’ve ever had. She was very friendly and responsive. She went above and beyond to ensure we had what we needed during our stay. Melinda is also local to the area and it was important for us to support locals while staying in Belize. The unit was spacious, clean, and recently updated. We felt right at home. It’s about a 5 minute walk from the beach and beachfront restaurants such as Sandbar and Palapa. I would recommend her place to anyone visiting San Pedro!

We had a great stay at Melinda's unit. It is very close to the beach and water taxi. Melinda was very kind and picked us up when we arrived to San Pedro. Great location. Everything is close by, including fruit stand and few grocery stores. Melinda recommended Western Dairies, which ended up being our favorite ice cream place. We loved our stay and already miss our San Pedro stay with Melinda.

Melinda was amazing! Responded very quickly with any questions i had. She even checked on us half way through our stay to see if we needed anything.

Having parking, WiFi, and a coffee shop downstairs were all pros. There is water, plenty of towels, and a 2 wash cloths. Advice: If you use them, bring them with you! The air was off upon arrival and it took a bit to cool the place down. A/C units are in the bedrooms so the rooms cool quickly. The only thing that annoyed me was how loud it was outside and I went during the off season! Dogs barking, people talking/yelling, golf carts, and motor bikes going all night. If you're used to sleeping through city noise then you'll be fine.

Convenient location. Very kind and responsive host. Loved the kitchenette and the furnished deck. My only comment would be it’s on a very Main Street w lots of traffic noise. It does mellow at night. Otherwise great place.

Melinda’s place was just as described, close to a number of restaurants & nightlife. There is a cafe downstairs owned by her daughter and the coffee is good. I really appreciated her picking us up from the airport even though we booked our flight at the airport to fly into San Pedro and her being flexible with checkin so we had a place to leave our stuff. She also provided some good recommendations in the area.

Melinda was super helpful on suggesting places to go. She was very responsive and gave me a ride when my golf cart broke down. Her place was close to many things and loved the coffee shop downstairs.

Melinda was great. She picked us up from the Water Taxi and drove us to the airport on our last day. She also came instantly when the hot water wasn’t work. Place was big with clean bedrooms & there were so many fun things to do nearby.

Wonderful apartment for a family, located in the main area of San Pedro. Easy walking distance to everything. Looks new, great furnishings, very comfortable. Melinda was very helpful with picking us up at the water taxi terminal on arrival, and also answering general questions. Highly recommended.

Melinda was the ideal host. Communicated great, but not excessive. Picked up and dropped us off at the airport. Even gave us a quick tour on the way and activity/restaurant recommendations. I accidentally locked myself out and Melinda was there to let me in within 5 minutes which was extremely appreciative. The place was just as described. 1 block from the beach. Very clean. Everything you need. Walked to get groceries and restaurants but still recommend renting a golf cart, especially for nights and rainy days. The family also owns a coffee shop downstairs, very convenient and made the experience felt like a true family B&B. Only downfall was the morning noise, lots of golf cart traffic and dogs barking (which is out of the host control). Other than that, I would highly recommend and would absolutely stay again.

Melinda’s Air Bnb was in the perfect location close to a lot of the places we wanted to go. There are a lot of restaurants in the vicinity. We were also in walking distance from the beach so that was nice! The water taxi location is also close by. The apartment was beautiful, clean, and exactly what we needed. I highly recommend Melinda’s place.

It is in such a great location, walkable to many places other than Secret Beach. Melinda was kind enough to provide roundtrip transportation to and from the water taxi. It is just a few minutes' walk to the beach and great nightlife. I would highly recommend staying here.

Melinda's place felt like home! I would say it's in a more local part of town, but I loved eating at the local places, working out at a local gym, and enjoying the popular beach restaurants as well as the popular seafood restaurant in town - all within walking distance. I felt super safe at the apartment and walking or driving the golf cart in the area. The apartment itself was spotless! It was clean, had everything we needed and more (water, kitchen items), and the AC and fans kept the place cool. Melinda was the perfect host. She went above and beyond to meet us at the airport and get us to the apartment. She was also flexible and let us check in early. I 100% recommend this place!

Melinda is such a kind host. She picks us up from the ferry station and bring us to the apartment on her golf cart - she also sent us to the ferry when we were leaving!!. Location is excellent close to the ocean, 4 mins walk to the famous Palapa Pub on the water, where you can swim, have the beer and food served to the water. Amazing.. Dont forget to check out Secret Beach!!

Melinda was a great host. She picked up me and my two other guest from a cafe not to far from the water taxi. She made us feel at home. Melinda was in constant communication from the time we arrived until the time we checked out.

The place was an AMAZING location (1 block from the beach!), the air conditioning worked great, right next to great restaurants, and her family has lived on the island for generations, so it's great to support a local host. Stay here if you have the chance!

My friend and I enjoyed our stay at Melinda’s apartment. It was clean and comfortable. The location was great because it was walking distance to all the restaurants and activities we had planned. As other guests mentioned, it was loud with the traffic but with the fan on and earplugs, it was definitely doable. Melinda was kind enough to pick us up and drop us off at the water taxi. She was friendly and responded quickly to any questions we had.

The airbnb was amazing. It is on a busy road but you can not hear anything in the bedrooms. We walked to many restaurants but did have a golf cart. The coffee shop below was amazing the best coffee we have ever had. Speaking with Melinda and hearing stores and her knowledge is amazing. The beds were so comfortable and the place was beautiful and we loved every minute. We loved it and will recommend to everyone. thank you so much

We loved our stay at Melinda's. She was always responsive with anything we needed. We loved sitting out on the balcony. Although it was very noisy with golf carts, as expected, it quieted down later at night and almost completely silent in the rooms (other than the dog barking next door right outside our window early in the morning). The bedrooms have great space with a clothes rack and lots of shelving. There was also beach towels, aloe and bug spray, which we appreciated (and needed all 3!). The kitchen has plenty of plastic cups, coffee maker, hot plates, everything you could need. The location is great because you can walk straight out to the beach and to all the over water bars/restaurants, or you can walk to town in about 5-10 min as well. If ever back in San Pedro, would not hesitate to stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at Melinda’s. The apartment is in walking distance to just about anything. Upon leaving we even walked to the airport! We walked to restaurants such as Caramba, Estel’s, Sandy Toes, and D’Family. In the morning and evenings, we sat on the porch and people watched. Melinda was very helpful and friendly. Always a text a away. I suggest booking your golf cart before arriving because we didn’t and lost out. The apartment does have outside steps. I would stay again.

Melinda was amazing ! She made our vacation in Belize such an awesome experience. The Airbnb was clean, super cozy, and it is in the area of many bars/restaurants. We rented a cart but literally everything is in walking distance. Melinda communication/response was by far one of the best I’ve ever had while staying in airbnb. Melinda was a wonderful host - responsive, kind and considerate. She made sure we had plenty of towels and extra blankets. We loved staying here while in San Pedro and felt just at home. It was comfortable, clean and spacious. The location is perfect and allowed us easy access to the town, restaurants and beach. We even had to book this spot last minute and Melinda was super accommodating, responding to our reservation request and meeting us for check-in within the hour.

Melinda is a good host and has done beautiful updates to the building. Location is walkable to the main area and about 45 min to Secret beach. She picked us up from the airport and very friendly. There is a cute coffee shop located downstairs. Must have the local eats at Yolie's Deli next door, delicious breakfast tacos and stewed chicken. We can't wait to come back!

Many places are within walkable distance, and Melinda went above & beyond by arranging free transportation from the airport to her home upon our arrival, and provided great suggestions on local spots to check out. It was a plus for Melinda to greet us at the ferry. We packed all of our luggage with a young child into her golf cart. She was so nice always responsive. Melinda even drove around to show us different spots to eat and the bank. She gave us tips on golf cart rental and places to eat. I would definitely stay here again.

Melinda's place is everything you see in the listing and more. I Have visited San Pedro many times before and stayed in everything from hostels to expensive hotels. I will look for this listing when I return. Response times were immediate and when I could not set up a fishing trip with my regular guide she found me a great replacement weeks before my trip. Clean, nice mattresses, pillows and sheets. Air conditioning works perfectly. Highly suggest.

Did a girls trip to Belize, Melinda’s place was central in San Pedro. Near coffee shops, grocery store, and golf rentals. Apartment was clean and just as pictures described. Melinda picked us up from the airport and dropped us off via golf cart which was very appreciated. Throughout our stay, Melinda was easy to get ahold of for any questions we had and she showed us a bunch of local eateries to try. Only con is the balcony is overlooking a Main Street and at night all the golf carts can be a little loud. We had no problem sleeping in our rooms/the noise was muffled but when in the livingroom, you can hear the hustle and bustle. Aside from that, great safe space and highly recommend!!

Simply the best! We drove all over the island to visit friends in the north and south and quickly realized how lucky we were to find Melinda’s apartment. Even our friends commented how great our location was. It was perfect for our family!

A great stay at Melinda's. She picked us up by car when the boat arrived and brought us back when we left. The accommodation is clean and neat, there are two beautiful comfortable bedrooms. The accommodation is located on a very busy road, we could not enjoy the terrace, but we slept well.

Absolutely loved Melindas place. She was so kind and picked us up directly from the Water Taxi to make it easy for us. The place was spotless and had clean drinking water for us. The location is the best part because it is a 2 minute walk from the beach and tons of restaurants and activities.

Dealing with Melinda was great from the beginning. We arrived 2 hours earlier than we expected and told her we’d hang out,we’ll be fine. When we arrived, Melinda was there waiting. She drove us to her place and stored our bags until the unit was ready. Then she took us to a nice place to eat over the water. The unit itself was just as nice, spacious and clean. Good storage space and the beds were extremely comfortable. It’s on the main street so traffic is noisy and kinda nonstop. Regardless of the noise, I would definitely stay here again.

Melinda was an outstanding host! Very kind, responsive and informative. The location is great: walking distance to everything. The AC was perfect. The kitchen and bathroom were very clean. Good water pressure and hot water. The bed was very comfortable. The linens all clean and no smell. Great landscaping and golf cart parking in the back. Everything was great. The only thing that was less than ideal was the road noise. The apartment sits on a main road where lots of golf carts drive by all day and they all have loud engines. None of that is Melinda’s fault, obviously. And it wasn’t a deal breaker for us by any stretch either bc the road noise barely makes it to the rear bedroom, so we slept peacefully. The only place the road noise might bother is if you’re trying to watch a movie in the living room, but who goes to Belize to do that? The balcony was an awesome place to chill, but the road noise made it hard to spend a lot of time there. Overall, I’d definitely stay here again.

Melinda is a great host! I gave the 5 start review because of how nice and helful she was. She gave us rides from and to the water taxi terminal. Our departure time wasn't convinient to her, but she went out of her way to help us to get to the terminal. She also gave local recommendations which were helpful. The size of the apartment is good for a small family. There are pros and cons for the location of the apartment. It is on a busy street, and is convenient to go anywhere. On the other hand, because it's on the most busy street, the golf cart traffic was literally non-stop even at late night generating great noise except on Friday (we left on Saturday morning). This is a great choice if you don't mind the noise or you stay during a less busy time.

Thank you Melinda for wonderful vacation in San Pedro. Apartment is very clean with new shower, bathroom, air-conditioning, refrigerator, mini-kitchen in perfectly working order, both beds are comfortable. Melinda met us at ferry/water-taxi at arrival and drove us to the apartment on her golf-car which was huge help since it was our first time in San Pedro. Apartment located in front of high school on somewhat busy main street with 5 min walk to beach and popular Palapa Bar and Grill, and about 10 min walk to mid-downtown and popular dive shops (we went diving with Amigos Del Mar which I highly recommend). Since apartment is so close to downtown we rented golf-car only for 1 day to visit Secret Beach , other days we walked. There are three grocery stores 3 min away in case you want to make your own breakfast.

The unit was phenomenal. The host was amazing and made checkin and overall experience amazing . I travel a lot and this was one of my best experiences.

Melinda’s apartment is exactly like the pictures. The location is close to stores and places to eat and felt very safe. The linens are clean and smell very nice which is very nice. The apartment was spotless. The beds are very comfortable and the AC is nice and cold for those hot hot days. She responded fast if there were any questions. She has a binder with very helpful information as well as recommended tours. I definitely would stay here again.

The location is very nicely situated in town and you can easily walk to the many different local restaurants and shops in the main part of town. We rented a golf cart for the week, but it’s really not necessary… maybe only for a day trip out to Secret Beach. There’s parking in the back too, which is nice. The apartment is also nicely decorated and we had a great stay. We were able to meet both Melinda and her daughter and they were both very gracious and lovely people. We would stay here again.
