James is an outstanding host. He regularly texted to see how we were doing. He is probably the most responsive host we’ve ever had on AirBnB!! We previously stayed at the Sayan Beach Club, which is right next door to James’ place at Sayan Tropical. James’ place is much larger than similar units at the Beach Club, which is a huge plus for families and large groups. The only downside was the more limited restaurant and bar hours at Tropical. But both locations have a wide selection of good food, quality drinks, and friendly service. You will have a great time staying at James’ place! Be sure to have dinner at La Playita—just a short 10-15 minute walk down Conchas Chinas—and enjoy a waterfront sunset with your meal. The seafood is so fresh and delicious!!

Great location. Great communication. Clean. Wonderful host. Nice pools and jacuzzi. Only thing is the view from the right side of the balcony to see the Malecon is blocked by the building next to it.

We had a terrific week at Sayan #41! The building is beautiful and extremely well maintained. James was a great host - always responsive almost immediately and provided support and recommendations. The condo was in great condition and was a perfect setup for our group. Plenty of space, lots of bathrooms, and all the extras to cook and enjoy our time. The pools are prestine and the tennis court is also a bonus for a little exercise. Our only small complaint is that the service at the pool was sub par. Anna was great and was attentive but Adrian didn't seem to care that we were there. If we wanted anything, we had to walk to the restaurant bar and ask. No regular visits at the pool or check-in to see if the food/drinks were alright. It is the off-season, so I hope this is not the norm. I would highly recommend any family or group looking for a place slightly off the busy streets of town to check James' place out. Short Uber rides make it easy (the walkway isn't).

Our family of 7 absolutely loved this place. Walking in, the staff was always friendly. The condo is very well appointed with all the things you need for a great trip. The views are absolutely amazing! Easy access to beach below and the pools and spa are so nice and relaxing. We used the on-site restaurant more than expected and the food was delicious and the staff was super friendly. The property is kept very clean! The gym had everything we needed to get in a good workout. There is a trail to walk to the Romantic Zone, but we found taking an Uber to be very affordable to pretty much anywhere we wanted to go. I would highly recommend this place if you are a larger group like we are. Oh, and James is super knowledgeable and responsive, a great host!

Pool was crystal clear with amazing view of Pacific Ocean. Sayan restaurant had a quality food with superb service. Very much enjoyed this experience and without any doubts I recommend this place. Memorable moments were created here. Thank you James and Sylvia for your hospitality.

Simply Magnificent! There is absolutely nothing negative we can say about this wonderfully spacious seaside condo. The view is spectacular. The place is furnished quite well and sparkling clean. The building is beautiful with a friendly and attentive staff, terrific restaurant, three huge pools, and an oceanside hot tub. Most mornings our group of eight, would have coffee and mimosas on our massive terrace while watching whales and their calves jumping and playing in the ocean. James is also an excellent host. He is easy to contact and replies quickly. James was very helpful with many details for us to make our trip perfect. We most assuredly recommend James and this amazing condo.

I have stayed at a lot of Airbnb's, and this has to be one of the best! The condo has everything you would need. The balcony is absolutely amazing! We walked in the unit, walked on the balcony and a whaled breached directly in front of us. The little restaurant in the complex was nice to have. The pools are immaculate. If you want a little less crowed beach, its just steps away. The big busy beach is just a short walk away. We used Uber to get to the romantica zone, so easy, very inexpensive. James recommended a local Chef to us, which we used one night, and was amazing! We can't say enough great things about this spot! We look forward to coming back for another visit in the future!

We stayed at James’ place for a week along with my in-laws and 4 adult children. Since the moment we walked into the condo until we left we had zero issues. The condo is awesome! The views are amazing, and it really makes you feel at home. My family had more than enough space and we had everything we needed to keep us entertained, plenty of games and cards, We also enjoyed the gym and steam room/ sauna. The location is great! Close to downtown Vallarta and the beach is Also lovely, I definitely recommend this condo for anyone wanting to enjoy puerto Vallarta’s beauty.

Perfect spot for our family vacation! We enjoyed our time in the condo as well as in the pools. It was ideal with a beautiful view of the ocean in the pools and our condo. We especially appreciated separate the bathroom for each bedroom and comfortable living space for us all to hang out together. We will plan to stay here again when visiting PV.

Sayan Tropical unit 41 was outstanding. The views were stunning. Perfect for a large family or group (8 People). My family thoroughly enjoyed there stay. Only one small issue - the master bed room shower is not as nice as the other showers, but functional. Even with that small issue - I would definitely rent this unit again. Thanks, Jesse

Really excellent place, my family and I loved it.

Our family (two best friends and our five children ages 5-11) LOVED staying here. My children and I stay in PVR a few times a year and this space provided us the best of both worlds: immediate proximity to the water and the beach and just a 10 minute walk to town to our favorite restaurants. The space itself is as gorgeous as the images and honestly more than we even expected; it’d be perfect for 8 adults or a group like ours (that didn’t need all three rooms and kind of mixed and matched throughout the trip). The place is STOCKED with everything you need—cook-wear, linens, cleaning supplies, basic spices—including emergency equipment (our trip overlapped at the end with a hurricane, and we had plenty of lanterns, candles, and water to get us through and felt very safe). The pools are lovely and the restaurant on the first floor is convenient, especially for morning coffee. James was an excellent communicator, and we would absolutely stay here again.

From start to finish we had a wonderful time. James communicated and answered all our questions. It was lovely to get a gift basket upon arrival. The Condo has everything you need. The staff and food at the restaurant and bar were fantastic. The views are wonderful and there were lightening shows almost every night.

Luxury galore! The condo was super nice, very well maintained…we had a top notch experience. All the staff was helpful and friendly. The local restaurant was very nice, and the food was awesome! If you are going to PV for a peaceful getaway, this place is just what the doctor ordered. Transportation is also readily available, and the condo is fairly close to everything. Thank you, James!

James was an amazing host! Responsive to all my emails and questions. Sylvia (on site host) greeted us and gave us a tour. She did shopping for us and everything was present when we arrived. James recommended personal chef, Benjamin Leyva, and he didn’t disappoint! The staff at Sayan was attentive and the views and pools unbelievable. The condo was fully stocked with towels and kitchen supplies. The furnishings and beddings are top of the line. We hope to return!

We loved our stay in Puerto Vallarta. The four bedrooms each had private bathrooms, which was very convenient. We walked the trail along the beach to the Zona Romantica multiple times a day. Incredible view!

The photos do not do justice to this condo and its location. It is absolutely beautiful with breathtaking views. James's was great to communicate with. The staff is very friendly and the onsite restaurant was great. This was our 7th trip to Puerto Vallarta but our first time at this location. Definitely our favorite.

Such a beautiful condo with spectacular views of the ocean and sunset! Everyone we interacted with was kind and welcoming! Check-in flexibility was amazing, our flight ran late and they waited for us to arrive to walk through the condo and show us how everything worked which was super appreciated! We were celebrating my 30th birthday and found a celebratory cheesecake and a note welcoming us! All in all, I would 100% recommend this to anyone staying in PV and look forward to staying again in the future!

Totally made my stay in Puerto Vallarta one for the books!! Celebrated 50th birthday with six other friends and they all echo the same words. This condo was perfect for the 7 of us. The location is fantastic with a short walk to the beach and Malecon boardwalk area. They try to think of everything you may need and provide it for you here. As you can see in the pictures, you really can't beat this view. Overall it was a wonderful stay.

One of the best airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in, 100% worth it!! The condo amenities were amazing all the employees were so friendly and great. The condo was so beautiful and spacious we had a family of 7 and fit so comfortably. Definitely recommend chef Ben!! The location is just a quick 5 min drive to town. A great vacation condo with a beautiful view of the ocean. The condo was well stocked and had everything we needed. James and Silvia answered all my questions prior to arrival and were easily reached if we had questions during our stay. The restaurant on site was delicious and the staff was very friendly. The building was very quiet which was just the relaxing trip we needed. We opted to taxi/Uber to town which was only $3 or $4 dollars each way. Totally worth it. We walked once and it was short, It was just too hot and humid to do the walk with small children. A great value and great condo. Would recommend to anyone looking to vacation in PV.

Beautiful four bedroom condo with spectacular sunset views. Condo is very well apportioned with what you may desire during your escape to PV! Pools on the ground floor are heated and the restaurant on site is delicious and super convenient for breakfast - especially when traveling with kids/large groups. The main beach is a short walk from the condo and there is an uphill climb over rocks then down some stairs. This is fairly easy to traverse unless your a smaller kid or older. Because the street has been washed out you’ll have to either walk this route to the main beach or simply take an Uber. Uber’s will run you about $3 USD to get down to the pier and surrounding restaurants. This makes getting down there very easy. Our host James had great communication prior to our trip and the condo is as it appears in the pictures - beautiful. We had a wonderful visit without any issues! Would absolutely book this condo again.

This place was absolutely incredible! James was very easy to work with and responded quickly. We stayed with 2 other couples and there was more than enough room. The views from the balcony are incredible. There were a couple mornings where we could see whales from the balcony. The place is clean and cool and stocked with all necessities. The pool is amazing! The restaurant is very reasonably priced and delicious and the service is impeccable. We all made friends with Gustavo! He is so kind and helpful! The condo is in a great location. It's within walking distance from many great restaurants and beaches. It's also right off the main road and is very easy to get a taxi or bus. We would all 100% recomend this rental.

This place was absolutely phenomenal. From the condo itself to the pools to the restaurant, everything was fantastic. The gym was good size, the pools were beautiful, and the place was very quiet and relaxing. The condo is quite large and very specious. Everything is very well decorated and clean. We even used the recommended personal chef one night and they came in and cooked - wow! They provided just about everything you’d need. Plenty of towels, toiletries, and even tennis rackets for the tennis court. Which we used nearly every day and had such a great time playing. The restaurant is soooo good. We had no idea that the food was going to be to the quality that it was. For multiple days during our stay, we just hung out at the pool and ordered food and drinks. There is also beach access with the romantic zone within walking distance. We walked to dinner a few nights and enjoyed the views. Lastly, James was awesome. Very responsive, friendly, and informative. Anything we needed, he got for us very quickly. Overall, we loved our stay and will absolutely be back.

Our group of six greatly enjoyed the ocean view and amenities, particularly the building's gym and the poolside restaurant which was convenient for a delicious and quick breakfast. The pools and outdoor jacuzzi were great options to enjoy. Having access to the beach made for a quick 5-minute walk to the beach or a 10 minute walk to Zona Romantica. I would definitely recommend this house and its 4 bedrooms and bathrooms which gave everyone plenty of room.

Stunningly beautiful interior and patio. Million dollar views. Great on-site amenities. Generously stocked. Comfortable beds. Great communication. Easy check-in. Because of the season (January) we were treated to numerous daily visits from whales and dolphins - some were so close you could hear the slap of the whales hitting the water after they breached. Perfectly located adjacent to Zona Romantica, but far enough away to enjoy peaceful sleep to the sound of the waves crashing. I've stayed in many different places in and around PV over the past 30+ years of visiting - and this is, by far, my new favorite.

This place is just amazing. Not only the condo itself, but the Sayan Tropical complex of which it is one of 40 units. The condo is graciously appointed, and James has taken care of many details that will make your stay just a little slice of heaven within easy walking distance of downtown Puerto Vallarta.

James’s condo was perfect for our group of 7. The view from the balcony was beautiful and peaceful. The kitchen was stocked with basics and the condo had thoughtful touches throughout. The restaurant down stairs was excellent and property has a nice gym and steam room. It was about a five minute walk to the beach or stay on the property and use one of three beautiful pools. Ubers/taxis to and from the condo were super easy to get. I highly recommend James place and will definitely consider staying again for our next visit.

My family of five and I had a week long stay at Casa del sol, we had an amazing and relaxing stay and experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, food and drinks at the restaurant were delicious with a great variety. Access to the beach was easy and convenient. Uber rides to the zona romántica and the malecón were fast and extremely affordable, we would go down there daily for lunch then back again for dinner on some nights. The condo itself was clean, spacious and the view was spectacular! Everything you could need is available to you to make your stay comfortable and feel like home. The keyless entry to the condo was so convenient, you don’t have to worry about carrying around a key. James and Silvia were extremely attentive and answered any questions and concerns immediately. We will definitely be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The apartment is incredible, we were four couples and it is very comfortable that each room has its own bathroom. The cleanliness of the apartment and common areas, security, the restaurant service, the gym, the pool, the views ... we all loved it. James is an excellent host. If we go back Puerto Vallarta, we would loved to stay in this apartment again. El departamento está impecable, fuimos cuatro parejas y es muy cómodo que cada habitación tiene su baño. La limpieza del departameno y áreas comunes, seguridad, el servicio de restaurant, el gimnasio, la alberca, las vistas.. todo nos encantó. James es un excelente anfitrión. Si volvemos a ir a Puerto Vallarta nos encantaria volvernos a quedar en este departamento.

This is a beautiful condo for a large group. The view is breathtakingly beautiful and James is an extremely helpful host!

Amazing stay. This condo is beautiful and the view can’t be beat. The unit is spacious, clean, and accommodated our group of 6 easily. There were lots of essentials in the kitchen, booze in the bar, and the restaurant downstairs is also convenient for a snack. It’s possible to walk to the center of town from the unit, but it’s also far away enough that it’s quiet at night when you’re ready for some shut eye.

This is our new favorite place to stay in PV! The condo is clean, spacious and well-equipped with comfortable beds and a large terrace for amazing sunset views. The oceanfront location is great and is within easy walking distance to everything without having the construction nose we often find in the Romantic Zone. The pool area is spacious and never crowded. We loved the on-site restaurant! The property manager was always available via WhatsApp to assist us with any questions. We look forward to returning soon.

Family of five (two adults and three children) enjoyed a wonderful full eight days/ nine nights at Sayan. James’ place is a very spacious (bigger than it looks in pictures) modern condo with an incredible ocean view. The kitchen had everything needed to cook meals (we prepared all breakfasts and lunches), and the restaurant on site did a great job with dinners at a very reasonable cost. We also had a meal prepared by a recommended private chef and this dinner was fantastic. The pools were great for kids and adults alike. It is an easy walk to little beaches (access to right out of gate was a little trickier than to left) and town. Felt very safe with security and COVID precautions in place. Tennis court was fun with kids; rackets were provided in condo, which was a nice touch. Everything was clean/ neat. Highly recommend.

This place is spectacular and !! The condo has an awesome layout with plenty of room for everyone and felt super private like we had the building to ourselves! The view is amazing and the building grounds with all the pools made it hard to leave to do anything else. The on site restaurant served great food and cocktails as well. James was a great host...answered all our questions, offered suggestions and was quick to respond. We will definitely be back again!

Puerto Vallarta is an excellent destination for those who crave the beach, great weather, beautiful scenery and tasty food provided by numerous restaurant near by. I fully recommend this apartment for those looking to come with family or a large group of friends as there is space to accommodate 8 people, the kitchen has everything you need for home cooked meals.Hot water is always available in all 4 showers. television provides both Spanish speaking and English speaking programme so if the kids want to watch cartoons that option is available. 5 star is not enough for this property, it deserves at least 10 star for its location, comfort, and views!

You would be crazy to look anywhere else in Puerto Vallarta. This place is amazing

Myself and 5 friends booked James’ condo for 7 nights and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We were met at checkin by Silvia who was gracious and helpful. We also communicated with her during our stay and she always responded quickly and with our question answered. Not that we had many as the suite was perfect. The view and amenities are far better in person than what you see in the photos. The sliding glass wall made indoor/outdoor living seamless and we never felt crowded with each other. The kitchen had more equipment and utensils than I had at home however we barely cooked as the on site restaurant was reasonably priced and amazing. They have waiters that will serve you poolside. Please note the restaurant only accepts credit cards as bill payments and only accepts cash for tips. Some of us also used the on-site gym which had everything we needed. One minus was the water jug kept running out but once we talked to staff it was fixed almost immediately. It also has a tennis court but we did not play. Security at the building is above par. You are buzzed in and they recognized you after one day. There is also a beach door which you buzz into and security was always walking the grounds. There is cobblestone road into town, about 10 minutes all downhill. If you want a quicker route there is a beach walk from the beach door and a path to old town. Both routes require mobility though, and as my friend discovered, don’t wear heels. Uber is cheap, about 150 pesos to/from the airport, even cheaper to old town. James was a dream to deal with. I would 100% book with him again.

I was hesitant to book a place new to the rental market without any reviews, but I’m familiar with the location and other buildings in the area, so I figured it would at least be as good. Wow, it was far more than good! And far better than other places I have stayed. The condo was perfect for my group, with four bedrooms and four full bathrooms. The décor is gorgeous with beautiful terrazzo floors throughout, a sleek gourmet kitchen, and stylish furniture and artwork in living spaces and each bedroom. The piece de resistance though is the view! The expansive balcony stretches across the unit with fully retractable glass doors creating a totally open-air room, from kitchen to living space (and master bedroom) overlooking Banderas Bay and the open ocean of the Pacific. Cocktail hour at sunset was simply magical. The common area has three beautiful pools, a large slate hot tub overlooking the crashing waves, a well-equipped open-air gym, and a surprisingly excellent restaurant (I didn’t think of a condo building having a great restaurant, but it truly is as good as anywhere in town). There's easy access to secluded beaches directly from the building and the larger Los Muertos Beach area is a short walk along a beachfront path. I really liked the fact that Sayan Tropical, unlike other condos in the area, limits unit occupancy so all of those great amenities never felt crowded. The controlled front-gate access is staffed by friendly people who greet you upon check-in and personally recognize you upon each return, ready with an open door and a friendly “welcome back” (in Spanish probably, but I forget the translation!). Silvia, the property manager, is helpful and available to answer any questions. We really liked being within an easy 10 minute walk to the Romantic Zone, but far enough away from all the noise and activity in that area. And for times you don’t want to walk to or from town, Uber works amazingly well—and cheap! When we did take Uber, it was usually only about $3 USD. We had a really great stay and I'm looking forward to returning again soon to this fantastic property!
