We loved staying at Casa Calilla. Manu was friendly and helpful. It was even nicer than the pictures. The area is quiet but close to lots of restaurants and a short walk to the beach.

We loved everything! The place is super large, with a pool, a bathroom for each room, an amazing terrace, and everything is very clean! Manu is a very good host! Super friendly, he gave us recommendations and responded to our messages quickly. Everything was close to the house on foot as well. We would definitely go back!

The location, the pool, the house itself and the fact that Manu was always attentive make it highly recommended.

Manu’s place is centrally located right on one of the main strips in Zicatela. It’s spacious clean and a great place to relax. The pool is big and there is a driveway if you rent a car or ATV. Manu himself was super communicative and a pleasure to talk to. Highly recommend staying here!

An amazing 5 days we spent at Manu’s villa. The photos don’t do it justice, it’s even nicer in real like. The pool is huge, all the rooms are very large and the rooftop sunsets are the best. You are waking distance to town and beach but also far enough away that’s is quiet at night. 10/10 experience! Thank you for having us

Casa Calilla is an accommodation that I would 100% return to. It has everything, is spacious, very clean, matches the descriptions and photos, and is even better in person. The area in which it is located is super close to everything and quiet. The host is a very friendly person. Contacting him is very easy since he always responds very quickly. And receiving a visit from a cat almost every night was a special touch. It was a very pleasant stay. We loved it. 🩵

I’ve been coming to Puerto Escondido for years and have admired this property from afar. This year I took the opportunity to finally book and meet the gentlemen behind this listing. This home is everything you’ve read from the other reviews. It’s 5 stars across the board. But Manu, Sergio, and the rest of the hosting team are the type of hosts that make Airbnb what it is. Thoughtful, resourceful, and trusting individuals opening their homes for others to experience life through their local lens. Manu’s home provided the perfect back drop for a weekend celebrating life that my friends and I will never forget.

The place looks very nice in the photos, but in reality, it far exceeded our expectations. Clean, tidy, it was a very comfortable and pleasant stay. The location is unbeatable, and Manu was always attentive. We appreciated his recommendations and the fact that he arranged airport transportation for us. Without a doubt, all of this made it possible for us to fully enjoy P.E.!

We had a wonderful time at Manu's beautiful home. Fantastic pool, lovely spaces, and perfectly located within walking distance of the beach and its many great bars and restaurants. The only downside was that we stayed here for too short a time. We would absolutely love to come back here for a longer stay! 100% recommended.

Such a great place. We were two families and had plenty of space. The pool was incredible. We really appreciated the communication of the host, and the multiple cleanings during our stay. La punta is a noisier area, but the house was always quiet.

The home is stunning! It truly looks better than the pictures and had more than enough space for 6 of us. The pool is massive and it’s less than a 10 minute walk to the beach as well as shops and restaurants. Would absolutely return.

We had an incredible stay at Casa Calilla! Alejandro was so helpful and responsive of anything that we needed. The place was well stocked and the pool and hammocks were perfect for lounging around in. The casa was within walking distance of the beach and all the action but private enough that we didn’t hear a lot of noise. This was probably one of the best airbnbs I’ve stayed in and we will certainly be returning to.

Alejandro was amazing! There at the drop of a hat if needed. Location was perfect, quiet and plenty of space for many people to enjoy for an extended period of time without living on top of one an other. Plenty of privacy. Pool was a beautiful place to cool off in as the heat in the afternoon was always HOT! Can’t wait to go back!

We had an amazing stay at this house in Puerto Escondido. It’s only a 6-minute walk from the beach, the hosts were excellent, and the house itself was extremely nice and impeccable. Everything was perfect, we couldn’t have asked for better vacations. I fully, fully recommend this place to everyone!

Casa Tsuki is an amazing property and Manuel was a fantastic host. We loved our time there. This house was so very spacious, has a great pool and lots of quiet spaces throughout to disappear to, cool down or enjoy a view of the sea and some beautiful sunsets. The location was perfect, walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants and the beach. Even with everything so close by Casa Tsuki was a quiet retreat to return to. Manuel was incredibly helpful (even before we arrived to Puerto Escondido) and was pretty immediate with his responses when we ever communicated with him. We enjoyed everything about our stay in Casa Tsuki and hope to return one day if we get the chance.

This place is absolutely stunning! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely relaxed. The pool area is incredible — easily one of the most beautiful and peaceful spots we’ve ever stayed at. The house itself is so lovely, spacious, and has such a cosy, home-like feel. Watching the sunset from the terrace in the hammock was honestly one of our favourite parts of the trip — it’s the perfect spot to unwind in the evenings. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, and there are games to play which made it feel even more welcoming. The location is perfect — peaceful and private, but with cabs available everywhere, so it’s really easy to get around. The host was amazing — so warm, friendly, and flexible, and gave us such a lovely welcome when we arrived. Communication was always quick and helpful. The pool was cleaned every day, and the cleaners were both efficient and so kind. We genuinely couldn’t fault a single thing about our stay! 10/10

Beautiful place, just minutes from the beach. Very spacious. Amazing cleaning team came even though we were only staying two nights, and did a super thorough job. Cleaned the pool too. Excellent host, excellent house, very good location. Close to the beach, main avenue and all the food outlets and more that are at the tip. Reasonable distances to different beaches and locations. Super clean place. The people who help are very responsible and kind. It helps a lot that the host offers you drinking water, a super plus. The house has a terrace with a spectacular view for very nice meetings. And the pool area and the palapa are great. I recommend the house 100%, spectacular, very clean, super spacious, comfortable and large. And the host is very, very attentive.

We loved the house and we were very comfortable, it is as it appears in the photos and the location is very good, close to the beach and the restaurant area. Manuel was a 10-star host, very kind and attentive, and recommended many places to go in the area. We would definitely repeat!!

We were 4 adults who had rented the house for 3 nights. The humidity was very high in July when we visited Puerto Escondido, so it was great to be able to swim in the lovely pool and relax in the hammocks. Butterflies and a hummingbird flew around the beautiful flowers that hung over the pool. The house has air conditioning in all rooms, and there are water dispensers with cold water and a refrigerator. The Juice Cafe across the street has delicious juice, breakfast and lunch, if they are open. There were pool towels in addition to towels in the bathrooms. The house was a little worn, but cozy. The patio door was a little broken, and a bathroom door could not be opened again if you closed it. Fortunately, it was easy to communicate with Manuel, and a locksmith came quite quickly and fixed the bathroom door. We didn't use the top floor that much, but it was fun to stand up there in the evening and see the lightning far out over the sea. We had feared a swarm of mosquitoes, but we saw only very few and have not received many bites.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Calilla! The place was just as beautiful as in the photos – maybe even better. Communication with the hosts was excellent; we always received quick, friendly, and helpful responses. The location is perfect: the beach, great restaurants, and bars are all within walking distance. One of the highlights was the pool, which was cleaned daily – absolutely amazing! The cleaning staff also came by three times during our stay and left everything spotless. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and felt completely at home. We would definitely love to come back one day – thank you for an unforgettable experience! Highly recommend!

We had a great stay here with our teenage kids. The house was very comfortable and the pool is amazing. Manuel and Sergio were so helpful and responsive and made sure we were sorted out quickly when there was a power cut. Watching the sunset on Zicatela beach at the end of the road was a real highlight!

Excellent place to go to have a good time in Puerto, you feel a very friendly and comfortable vibe, we had 🌞🌊 an amazing time. Alejandro received us very kindly and was attentive to what we needed. We liked that the location is close to the main restaurants and streets, it is very private, the pool is very clean and beautiful. The beds are comfortable and the sheets were clean. They left us jugs of purified water and the house has everything you need for cooking. I recommend that you bring your own towels or blankets for the beach, as those there are for the pool🏊. We highly recommend spending your vacation here Thanks for having us at Casa Calilla 🤍🌱

We spent almost a week in family at Casa Calilla. Our stay has been fantastic especially thanks to the wonderful hospitality of Manuel, who is an extremely kind person. He has been very helpful, organizing in particular airport transfers for us and sharing precious tips about Punta Zicatella and Puerto Escondido. The location of Casa Calilla is just perfect, five minutes by foot from the beach and all restaurants, bars and shops. It is a super convenient, very accessible and safe place. The house itself is beautiful, confortable and very spacious. The pictures describe it perfectly. Each room has a bathroom inside or close by, providing great privacy for all guests. We enjoyed the pool, the palapa and its amazing view on the ocean. It was very clean at our arrival, with everything to make a great stay available. If you're looking for a memorable experience in Puerto Escondido, look no further. We can only warmly recommend Manuel and Casa Calilla. We can't wait to come back!

We loved our stay at Casa Tsuki. The home is large, clean, and in a great location close to the beach and restaurants. The internet worked great (it’s starlink internet) and the AC in the rooms was nice and cold. But the best part about the house is the pool and the large garden where our group was able to relax and spend time together. Manuel was also very responsive and helpful with any issues that came up. We would definitely stay here again.
