Our stay at Casa Namaste was everything we enjoy Serene, private, tasteful. different, as in no tourists , no shopping malls, just rustic beauty The locals are chill, friendly and helpful See Callum at the local supermarket for tips, such as Jorge's organic fruit and vege market on Mondays and Thursdays along with great fresh Mex food The beaches are beautiful, lots Humpback whale action Interesting bird life, the donkeys are cute and friendly Even spotted "The Fox" Casa Namaste has everything you need for a great relaxing holiday We would be back in a heartbeat For an area that literally has no infrastructure. ie no sewerage, no water, no electricity, no paved roads, the owners and locals somehow make it all work beautifully Thanks Nancy you must have had an interesting adventure building and setting up your Casa P.S Sorry but the beautiful blue beach umbrella broke Regards Mark and Helen

We are very happy to hear that you enjoyed the Zacatitos vibe and appreciated all of the things we love about being there :) (was it the larger blue beach umbrella that broke?)

The residence was clean, well-landscaped, and we loved the pool after a day of exploring the cape. The kitchen was a perfect size and the rooftop was an unexpected and recurring delight to take in sunrises, sunsets, and watch the stars at night. Once you turn off the main road, a 4x4 or higher clearance vehicle is preferred for the roads in the Zacatitos community. The property manager was quick and responsive to our questions and Nancy provided quick and detailed information upon booking. Overall, the property was a perfect size for us as a couple and could easily accommodate a family with children.

We are happy to hear that you enjoyed rooftop and property as much as we do:)

Casa Namaste is a beautiful property, a very secluded location. It's a bit of an adventure to get there, but I really enjoy the desert landscape so I really loved that! My partner and her kids came for the vacation also. They loved the property. Their only beef was the temperature at night in the house. Being off-grid, be prepared for evenings that are not regulated to what some may consider a comfortable range. The pool and back patio (including the rooftop) are gorgeous! Be prepared! The butterflies on our visit were absolutely awesome. Zac's Restaurant and the local market next door were a hit. If you are looking for a Cabo downtown vibe, this isn't it. If you want seclusion, you found it! Allen was the person who guided us in to the property. A great help!

Thanks for the great review James! We are happy to hear that you appreciated the desert vibe as much as we do. And that you were honest about the night time temperatures. Ideally we will have more solar panels to run an air conditioner. Living off grid can be tricky!

Our stay at Casa Namaste was magical. We were there at the end of March and the high was in the low 80s the entire time. We kept the doors and windows open and the airflow during the day and night was enough to keep us comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. We visited Coco Loco every morning for a refreshing drink and took advantage of the outdoor movie night on Wednesday. The beach was beautiful and uncrowded. There were two beach chairs, beach umbrella, and cooler available for excursions. Two more chairs would have been nice for the beach and movie night. If you are coming with a larger group you can come prepared with more chairs. An amazing place-5 stars-would definitely recommend.

Thanks for the chair suggestion! We will get more chairs. That’s great you went to movie night and to Coco Loco!

Casa Namaste is a beautiful off the grid home in Los Zacatitos! The place is quiet and peaceful with beautiful sunrise and sunset views on the rooftop. The pool and outdoor dining BBQ space is wonderful! There is plenty of seating to enjoy different views of the place! We would have liked to know the staples in the kitchen ahead of time to better shop for ourselves. We did enjoy the big kitchen to cook! Due to the eco-friendly water system, it's important to be mindful of water usage for dishes, showers, and other activities. A major benefit is that the water is filtered and safe to drink, which not only enhances convenience but also saves time and money. This sustainable setup supports the environment while offering practical advantages. You might have to drive 15 - 40 minutes to beaches and San Jose del Cabo restaurants and shops, the drive is worth it with the scenic mountain views! You need a special vehicle to drive on sandy bumpy roads! We look forward to coming back!!

Ohhh my, Casa Namaste did not disappoint! It's an amazing property in a stunningly beautiful part of Los Cabos. From the birds and late night visits from local deer in the yard, to the world class local beaches, Shaun and Nancy's place has everything you need. Well, except a spirit of adventure, that's up to you!

Casa Namaste seamlessly and integrally blends beauty and a pristine aesthetic that is uncommon. Juxtaposed between desert, mountains, and the sea, place/space opens up an ecological experience that is rare and hard to find. The 100% solar experience was flawless and a different way to appreciate respecting nature’s energy. We loved walking to the sea which was largely uninhabited, having the freedom to retreat to a serene home after busy days diving in Cabo and La Paz, and experiencing the night sky amidst true darkness was primordial. This truly is a house of “peace.”

Thank you John! We love that you 'got' our place and enjoyed exactly what we love about it too! Did you get to see any of the resident fox family members?

Very beautiful house, the photos don't do it justice and has everything you need! We loved the outdoor shower and the privacy. Hummingbirds in the beautiful garden and even the small fox showed up to say hi. The main road to Los Zacatitos is sealed but inside the village you only have dirt roads. Quiet area, nice people and beautiful beaches around.

Host Response

I'm so glad to hear that 'foxy' came out to say hi to you :)

Best house we have stayed at on the east cape. This was our first time in Zacatitos, and we loved it. Very close to town for supplies and a short drive to nice beaches and restaurants. All of the beaches are beautiful, with white sand and clear blue water. The house was well-equipped with everything for cooking, with a great kitchen and appliances. The bedrooms and baths were clean, with very comfortable beds. The home sits on a large parcel of land that is very private and landscaped. The sound of birds and other wildlife is abundant in the mornings. The sunsets over the mountains and sunrises are spectacular. We enjoyed a local community breakfast and farmers market that is not to miss but is only at certain times during the week.

Thank you for the very kind review and we are so happy you appreciated staying in our Casa like we do. Very special place.
