Excellent, 3 months ago

This was our second stay at Casa La Bomba. We really enjoyed our stay. The house is as described. Great location, walking distance to everything. It was easy to call Ubers when needed. Vicky was amazing. Pool was so nice, especially in June heat. We opted to have a breakfasts and one dinner made. Highly recommend! Look forward to returning.

Host Response

Hola Krissy thank you very much for all your comments and for coming back hope to see You in the next year or so

Tomas was responsive and informative in his communication. He was flexible and understanding when we had to modify our dates, and worked with us every step of the way. Upon arrival, he made us feel right at home, and continued working with us throughout the trip when we asked for recommendations for activities. He even set up a horseback riding adventure for us. He went above and beyond. The house was perfect. it was spacious and immaculate, decorated with beautiful artwork and in prestine condition. The pool was out favorite place to hang out because it was very warm. We used it every day and it was sparkling clean and refreshing. The housekeeper, Vicki, was on site every day making sure everything remained spotless and kept us supplied with clean towels and fresh bedding. She was so friendly and accommodating. She made us breakfast several days and it was amazing. She made fresh guacamole and fruit daily. Its hard to pick one highlight. We will definitely be back!

House is wonderful. Pictures don't do justice. I know people say that all the time, but this is true for this one. Vicky was really great to have around and her breakfast was the best we had on the trip. It was $50 USD and then we paid for the groceries and gratuity. Note , she is around everyday at 9:00 to clean. Didn't bother us AT ALL, but just a heads up for people who like privacy. Top floor room is amazing, but note, it is the warmest room. the bottom room is the coolest but we had a girl snuggle with her allergies down there. The pool is awesome and we were lucky to see some iguana friends hang out with us. Living room is amazing to open all the doors during a rainstorm. The ice machine has a little bit of a hard time keeping up. FILTERED WATER! Overall, beyond our expectations and will be requesting to stay again. We were 5 ladies. I would say it may have been a little too large for that few of people, but we did have our own space..PLENTY!

Absolutely beautiful and incredibly welcoming. The grounds are surreal and no photo could do justice the beauty. Vicky is the most lovely person and her cooking is truly world class. As a large diverse group we agreed her food was some of the best we’ve ever had. Tomas was a very kind and helpful host! We will be back and recommending to anyone who wants to see beautiful PV

Our family had a 5star stay at Casa de la Bomba. Property manager Tomas was awesome. Housekeeper/chef Vicky is a treasure.

Host Response

Hola Craig Thank you very much for your comments and glad to hear you had a great time with your Family we are looking forward to see you

This place is an oasis tucked in a residential neighborhood. It is a quick walk to local shops, restaurants and the beach. As the house is on the river, you have the calming sound of running water in the the background for your stay. There is a cultural arts center across the river and if you're lucky you might see a performance during your stay, from one of your many balconies. Getting around is easiest on foot and for longer distances an Uber or public transportation is your best bet. If you rent a car parking is very limited and on narrow, steep streets. The pool is not heated so it's a little cool in the winter months and best utilized in the morning as it becomes fully shaded by early afternoon. We were entertained frequently by the iguanas that live in the trees overhanging the pool and surrounding area. Don't worry, they stayed in the trees :) We were 8 people, 4 adult couples and the privacy afforded in this house is unprecedented. Fantastic! Tomas and Vicki are lovely!

I loved spending the week at this house! She is super nice and super tasteful, they don't do the photos justice. Tomás was always very attentive and helped us with everything we needed and Vicky was cooked by a great person and cooked delicious! I'd love to come back to that house

Host Response

Liz thank you so much for choosing Casa la Bomba we hope to have you back

Tomas gave horrible service and left us standing outside the house after accepting our request for 4 hours without response. Finally Airbnb had to call us to let us know Tomas couldn’t proceed with our check in. By this time it was too late to book anything else and we were left homeless. There are plenty of other options. Avoid this airbnb the host is unreliable.

Host Response

Why dont you tell the world that you try to rent the house outside the airbnb and asked me fot my personal contact number? I made a mistake by not reed the message since the beginning and when I acepted and saw what you trying to do I called airbnbn to cancel the reservation. I do care about my reputation thas why I reported you to airbnb.

The place was a dream. Gorgeous home overlooking the river and the hillside with some views of the water from the top floor. Tomás was a great host - very responsive and made arrival, departure and meals easy. The housekeeper and cook, Vicky, is a fabulous chef and her meals were even better than some of the fine-dining restaurants we visited. We were all so happy with our week in paradise.

Host Response

We are glad you had a great time

What a fantastic week. Casa La Bomba is everything it says it is and more. Tomas was very attentive before and during our visit ensuring our daily excursions were booked and got us to each easily. Vicky is an absolute gem. Not only were the premises kept spotless, we asked for her to cook for us on multiple occasions and her local culinary expertise was phenomenal. I would highly recommend Casa La Bomba, Tomas and Vickie

Host Response

John Thank you for your comments and glad you had a great time looking foward to see you soon

Before booking our stay, I communicated with the host that we would be arriving a few hours early. I asked him if he could provide shuttle service and if early check-in was an option and what the fees were if so. He said “early check-in is fine and $75 for the shuttle service”. At the end of our stay, he hit us with an unexpected fee of $415 for the early check-in. I found out that he doesn’t even own the property. But he does on the shuttle service. He sent me a link to make this $415 payment to his shuttle service rather than through Airbnb which was a little sketchy. I spoke with Airbnb, and they were able to read our chat, and agreed with me that he does in fact imply that early check-in is fine with no extra fees. They said that I’m not required to pay him at surprise fee so I did not. Not to mention, there was a terrible smell in the house during our entire stay that smelled like a dead animal.

Host Response

Hola Kerian First you didn’t find out I wasn’t the owner I told when you arrived. I have a very good reputation but people like you are always looking to take Advantage of everything and you are not the exception. When you asked about early check in I said yes and my mistake was not telling you there is an extra charge because you arrive a night before and you assumed it was free. Therefore when I told you about the $ 415.00 us plus tax 30% less than the regular night rate you refuse to pay since then I assumed I will have to pay my self to the owner because as I told you I am the house manager. To me is ok I will pay the $ 415.00 us plus tax that may make you happy after you and your group left a disaster all over the house looks like you are homeless the way you left garbage food towels and blankets all over the place and not leave a tip a mind 0 pesos for the maid who takes care. Believe me karma will come to you sooner or later I am good I made a mistake and you took advantage of that enjoy your self Don’t come with other history be honest with you at least

We had a lovely stay. The house is very beautiful (more so than photos) and very large. The pool was clean, a good temperature (not heated as far as we could tell, but given the high ambient temperature it did not need to be), and very much enjoyed. The house is within walking distance of many restaurants and bars in Zona Romantica. Room for improvement: 1) a couple of the bathrooms had a smell to them (vague septic smell). Overall this was not too bothersome and improved with ventilating them. I saw a similar comment noted on some other houses in the area so I suspect it may come in part with the territory. 2) the host was for the most part responsive but he did not set clear expectations regarding check-out (e.g. requesting check out at 11AM when the listing had 12PM).

Tomas is the best host and this was one of the best traveling experiences I've had. He was communicative and top of every need and request we made. He and Vicky took care of procuring a laundry list of drinks and food. Vicky made delicious meals for us on site. The rooms were laundered and cleaned daily. The house is magnificent and the host and staff were perfection. They helped with arrangements for excursions, meals and transportation. 8 of us came to celebrate my 40th birthday, and it was one to be remembered. Thanks to Tomas and Vicky for treating us with such love and care. Oh and Rodrigo, the masseuse provided the most wonderful massages on site. He was gentle and kind and it was relaxing to have him. Thank you all for the best time and experience!

This stay was awesome. First of all the house is beautiful and huge. Every room as their own floor. It is a lot of steps so be aware of that. We were greeted by Tomas with complementary massages and Vicki who cleaned and cooked breakfast for us. She was absolutely unreal. She is the nicest human not to mention her cooking is phenomenal. We also utilized the bartender and he was great- best spicy margs ever. Very worth it. The house is about a 10 min walk plus to the beach and the cobble stones are also pretty hard to walk on but we had no trouble getting a taxis if needed. Tomas can help plan any extra things you want to do so book with him instead. He recommended the catamaran and it was the highlight of our trip SO FUN. If you’re looking just book it

The photos don't do the house justice, it's beautiful! It makes you feel like you're in a dream. I recommend 2000% that they ask Mrs. Vicky for breakfast or dinner, apart from delicious cuisine, she is always attentive to what you need, and is too detailed. The house is located in a fantastic place, close to the bridge to cross from Isla Cuale to the malecón. The house is very open and the wifi works well on all floors. There are quite a few stairs, so if you don't have good knees or have some kind of impediment to go up and down, I would suggest that you look for another place. The landscape is magical, it is a good house to relax, enjoy nature, or tmb to have a good time in the pool. Tomas helped us coordinate transportation, massages, and meals. He was also very attentive and answers all your questions. I highly recommend it! You won't regret it!

Casa La Bomba was exquisite. The hospitality from Tomas & Vicky was exceptional. Tomas was quick to respond with any questions I had. He helped me organize a Boat day during our stay and assisted me and the rest of my bachelor party with transportation. Vicky made us an AMAZING dinner the day we arrived. There was guac and chips available when we arrived. The house was very clean, spacious, and beautiful. The pool was amazing with exceptional views of Puerto Vallarta. Location is prime with easy access to downtown, el Malecon, the beach and Market all within walking distance. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This villa was beautiful! Each bedroom was comparable to the master suite which meant everyone was happy! The location was excellent, just make sure that you are ready for “the stairs” which is the route you took to go anywhere. Tomas (the manager) and Vicky (the governess) were truly AMAZING!!! The only reason why I didn’t give a perfect score was because one of my non-negotiable features in air conditioning. The day before we got there, the master suite’s AC unit stopped working. This meant that I had to go 6 nights without AC and the weather was, at its lowest was 87 degrees (F) in the master suite. However, Tomas informed me of that the moment we checked in to the villa. Additionally, I watched him do EVERYTHING in his power to get it working over the next few days. He was not able to get it working however he went out an bought high-powered fans that made it palatable. I really appreciated his efforts and honestly. Poor Vicky was bored out of her mind because we tend to clean up after ourselves and so there was not much she needed to do, so she just became a beloved and honorary part of our family! Would definitely book again!

Casa La Bomba was the perfect choice for a bachelorette party! The villa was beautiful, every room was clean with work AC, and the pool was the best place to cool off and hang out throughout the day. The location was perfect too. Close to the beach, restaurants, bars, and some of the nightclubs. We pretty much walked everywhere! The house felt very safe and secure too. Vicky, who cleaned and cooked, was amazing as well, and even helped us find supplies to decorate for the bachelorette. Tomas arranged everything we asked, and always checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. He arranged for mariachi to play for the bachelorette’s arrival, and they were amazing! That attention to detail made the stay so much better than I could have expected. I really can’t wait to come back, hopefully when it’s a little less hot and humid in PV!

Truly exceptional experience at Casa La Bomba. We simply find it hard to put into words how magnificent our experience was from a location, amenities, sheer size and aesthetics of the property. Truly amazing. Tomas was an incredible host and took great care from the time we arrived in Puerto Vallarta to the time he dropped us off at the airport for the trip home. He was always prompt in his replies for anything we needed whether it was suggestions on restaurants in the area, any minor items we needed at the house or arranging several in-home meals prepared by Vicky (co-host) who prepared two exceptional 'from-scratch' Mexican dinners at our request. They both made our families experience truly amazing and really gave us the opportunity to experience Mexican culture the way it should be: great food, personable people, fantastic atmosphere (night life was in a league of its own) and superb cultural experiences being on the border of the Romantic Zone and Centro. If you are looking for superb accommodations in the right location with a host that will cater to any needs you may have then Casa La Bomba with Tomas as your host is where you want to be. Thank you Tomas for making this experience for our family one that we will never forget. We look forward to coming back!

We enjoyed our stay at Casa La Bomba for Eric Yoon Bach2022. Tomas was very attentive and fulfilled our requests in a timely manner, and his response time was great. Vicky did great maintaining the household for us and made us amazing salsa every morning fresh. Rodrigo’s massage services was great as they came to the house, i will definitely use them again. Overall the location is great, 7 min walk to town, 14 min walk to the main beach area. 5 stars to this venue and staff.

The house had a good layout, with one ensuite bed and bath on each level. We spent a few days by the pool at the house, and the rest at the beach. The cook/housekeeper, Vicky, was very sweet. The complimentary massage upon arrival was a nice touch. 2/4 units had issues with the AC units not working on multiple nights and the bridge construction was literally right outside of our windows ALL night long every night we were there, so both of these issues made for sleepless nights. The walk to town is a fun adventure, but be aware it's difficult for slower/elderly people.

This multi-level, beautiful home is just a 10-minute walk to the beach through the lively”Gringo Gulch” area, filled with mercados, restaurants, and bars. The home itself is perfect for sunset dinners and daytime lounging by the pool. We had a perfect family reunion here—plenty of space to spread out, with sound buffers (nice if you have three generations or combo of early birds and night owls). There are lots of stairs, so not ideal for toddlers or wheelchairs, but otherwise wonderful!!! There is a garage for one car, but driving is tricky here, so I recommend walking and taxis. We also took bus to other beaches one day which was easy and cheap. Tomas can also help arrange rides and adventures. Highly recommend!

I booked this villa after reading the positive reviews, so I was expecting something great but nothing could prepare me for what a perfect Airbnb experience this was! Obviously from the photos, the house itself is exquisite. You could easily have four couples in the house that could never see each other as each bedroom is on a different level. Our group of 7 girls for a birthday trip all slept incredibly comfortably and really enjoyed the pool. The location is amazing - ~15 minutes downhill to the beach and a quick rideshare if you don't want to walk. Also felt very safe. What really made the experience incredible though was the hospitality of Tomas and Vicky. Tomas booked our airport transportation, a tequila tasting (with transportation), and was quick to answer any question we had of him via text. Vicky was an ANGEL who cooked us breakfast each morning upon request and cleaned up the rooms each day. Our group was all in agreement that our favorite meals of the trip were Vicky's breakfasts. You won't regret booking this Airbnb!!

Book this place N O W ! It’s beautiful in every way! We were 6 of us and there was more than enough room for at least 2-4 more. Also, do yourself a favor and book Tomas to do airport pick up and drop off service- it’s much easier than trying to find cabs, etc. We chose to have the driver stop at a grocery store on our way from the airport to the villa so we could buy all the booze and snacks for us during our stay, but it’s also a service that Tomas said he could’ve done for us. We just were unsure of what each of us wanted so instead of sending him a confusing list from each of us- we went ourselves. (Note: the house gets stocked with bottled water so no need to bring any of that unless you like sparkling water like our crew does). Through Tomas I booked a surprise mariachi performance for our group at the villa. We had a personal chef cook our first dinner there so we can get settled in and get familiar with the villa and it was perfect! The mariachis surprised the group during dessert course for about a 45 minute performance and afterwards we freshened up for a night on the town (El Colibri is a fantastic cocktail/lounge bar walkable from the villa). We started each morning with breakfast from Vicki which was outstanding. She is so dang nice and talented in the kitchen. We’ve been home 2 days now and I miss her cooking so much I think I’m having withdrawals. We’d then linger by the pool for a bit and then head out on the town for the afternoon adventures. The walk to the artisan markets is about 5-7 minutes and it’s about a 10 minute walk to the old downtown/beach area. We went to the beach a few times while there as it was so refreshing on hot afternoons. Do not bring the pool towels from the villa, you have to rent chairs on the beach wherever you plop yourself and beach towels are included in the chair rental (about $10 a chair for the afternoon- totally worth it as they also have showers and restrooms for you to use while hanging on the beach). We went to Sapphire each time and it was perfect. We’d then walk back to the villa and get ready for dinner and then walk to all of the dinner reservations we had during our stay (Tintoque, la Cocina Fina, La Palapa, Barcelona Tapas, D’Cortez). The location is perfect for walking. As a post-dinner nightcap, we’d sit in the pool and plan the next day’s adventure while sipping on tequila. It was a dream. NOTE: We traveled as delta covid cases started to rise and it was a bit unnerving at times. PV has mask mandates in place and restaurants and establishments are pretty strict about mask wearing and sanitizer- thankfully. However, knowing that USA will not let you back in if you have a positive covid test had us all a bit “on edge” at times. You have to test at least three days before you leave Mexico- and if it comes back positive you have to stay there for 10-14 days until you can re-enter the states. Even if you are vaccinated- you can still catch it, be careful out there. It’s paradise in PV, but you would not want to be stuck in paradise in isolation and a possible hospital visit. Tomas was fantastic with our situations around covid and set up appointments for us to get tested at the local hospital that’s walking distance. The tests are about $25 (results in 3 hours or so) and you’ll have to give him a 24 hour notice to make the appointments for y’all on your desired date (s). Thank you casa la bomba for an amazing time and pampering that we all totally needed. We appreciate y’all immensely. <3

Our stay at Casa Bomba couldn't have been better. The house is beautiful and in an excellent location just a short walk from many restaurants/bars. We took a few Ubers to Zona Romantica and the cost of the Ubers was very affordable. Tomas was an excellent host, and was always available when we messaged him. I was having issues with my phone, and he always found a way to get in contact with me. The star of our stay was Vicky. She cooked breakfast and dinner for us, and her food was better than any of the restaurants we had been to. Vicky is a sweetheart, and made our stay that much more pleasant. Highly recommend this home for your next stay. Such a relaxing getaway with great views.

Well.......What can I can say. It was by far the best experience from a host and their staff that I’ve ever had at an Airbnb or for that matter, anywhere. Tomas, with his laid back personality was available 24/7. He knew everyone and everything about PV and could make all of our requests happen. Also, I can’t forget about Vicky. What a sweet lady. Always smiling and she was there everyday to provide us the most amazing authentic Mexican dishes. When she wasn’t filling our bellies, she was constantly tidying up the house from the day before. Like a church mouse, you didn’t even know she was there. If I could give more stars I would. Can’t wait to go back!

Let me start off by saying this was a fantastic home powered by an incredible staff. Vicky cooked up some lovely meals and kept the house tidy and clean our entire stay. Tomas was there for us along the way for any groceries or services we needed like massages from Rodrigo, bartending from Jesus, or car service to and from the airport. The house is beautiful (keep in mind there are lots of stairs) and the view from the balconies and pool area was stupendous. Not to mention, the wild life - parakeets and Iguanas galore. The pool was lovely expect it could have been like...5 degrees warmer, but overall we felt fine using it during the day and some evenings (depending on the amounts of liquor consumed). The rooms were lovely, but the water pressure was not great - especially the higher up you go - the master shower only works if no one else is using their sinks and showers, so my recommendation is using a group chat to coordinate shower times. Aside from that, the only issue we had was with our AC unit in the master bedroom and downstairs den area. I'd ask about that before you book the house. Overall we were absolutely pleased with everything and I'd absolutely consider staying in the house again - especially so I can eat more of Vicky's food. Thank you!!!

This property is stunningly beautiful and immaculately clean. It’s also safe, roomy, and ideally located. The pool, view, and artistic touches were incredible. Tomas is a consummate professional. He was always available to answer our questions and provide excellent recommendations. Highly recommended and we definitely hope to stay here again.

I've stayed at many AIRBNB's around the world and by far the best one yet. I always book my tours in advanced but in this case I wish I didn't because Tomas had the best prices for tours and was an amazing host. I asked Tomas if he can book a mariachi for my friends birthday and with no questions ask, it was done. At one point we were running really late for a tour we paid in advanced so their was not way we can reschedule or cancel it. We called Tomas for a ride, and big thanks to him we made it on time. Also the maid Vicky was amazing, she cook really delicious meals, they were so good we never ate outside of the AIRBNB. What a VIEW! this AIRBNB has, it felt like you had your own resort. If I have to find a negative thing I would say it was a huge AIRBNB for five guys, so bring more people haha.

Casa La Bomba has been our week long vacation rental in Puerto Vallarta during the Pandemic. This house is huge! It has been perfect for 8 women to rent. We loved the location in Gringo Gulch. We were surrounded by historical memories with the buildings and streets. Our access to the Malecon, Romantic Zone, beach, and shopping was also perfect! Most of all, Tomas our host is outstanding! He was always available and so very helpful! Our house keeper Vicky was the best also!

Pictures do not do justice for this amazing villa- the views are breathtaking and the location is very central. The amenities are outstanding, and the staff is remarkable. Everyone in our group left our trip already thinking about how soon we can go back! Thomas and Vikki made this getaway trip so special, and we can't thank them enough. If you're undecided on whether to choose staying here (there's many places to stay in PV), I would encourage you to book Casa la Bomba for your trip- you won't be disappointed! Thank you!

What can I say? Casa La Bomba is a beautiful, thoughtful space. It's even better than the pictures lead you to believe. Very quirky art throughout the house. Tomas was a wonderful host and organized transportation and the boat (which I highly recommend! Split the cost with your friends!) to Los Arcos and a local Beach (we also saw massive stingrays, whales, and turtles on the way!). Puerto Vallarta had amazing, cheap food- but you would be mistaken if you didn't have Vicky cook you a breakfast and dinner! She was warm and wonderful, and even made me an herb tea when I was struggling with a bad tummy. The location is as good as you could get! Beside the river, and a short walk to the Malecon- a stone's throw to everything you need. Very safe, we loved everything so much we want to come back again with the kids.

Casa La Bomba is an amazing place! We had a beautiful stay and Tomas, along with Vickie provided everything we needed to help us to enjoy our time there. The house itself is beautiful & spacious with an incredible view of the hills of Puerto Vallarta. Each day, all rooms are cleaned and regreshed and Vickie even made fresh guacamole and homemade tortilla chips for us to enjoy. Loved our time there!

Host Response

Hola Kimberly I am glad you and your family are good and we hope to see you soon in casa la bomba

This is one of the rare AirBNB properties that looks more impressive in person than in the photos. For a group of New Yorkers, the property was huge with rooms spread out across five levels. The home is located along the River Cuale between Old Town and Zona Ronantico. It’s a pleasant 15 minute walk from it to the Los Muertos Pier. The staff prepared some amazing breakfasts in addition to cleaning up the rooms each day. They can also cook homemade meals for an additional fee which is very helpful if traveling in a large group. Tomas is a great host and quick to assist with whatever issues might come up. During our stay we had some issues with the water pressure. He was on site within 30 minutes and quickly fixed the problem each time. On the down side the pool is not heated and some parts of the home are showing their age if you look closely. But overall these are minors issues given how great the experience was.

Casa la Bomba was all that we hoped for and more. Hard to believe that the pictures do not do it justice. It is larger than expected. The food and hospitality were awesome. The location is excellent. The pool was definitely refreshing. The river is nearby which helps to drown out the hustle and bustle of Old Town and nearby traffic. I would definitely recommend this rental - we didn’t miss the convenience of an all inclusive for even a second!

I came here with a group of my friends (9 in total) and we all left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. There was enough room for everyone without anyone feeling crowded. Tomas was a great host, very responsive and helped us find lots of things to do in the area. The house itself is great.. the views! I wish I could wake up to those views every morning. The two housekeepers that work there were amazing... Vicki and Cecelia took such good care of us. They made amazing meals and cleaned the rooms daily. I wasn't expecting all of that being that it's an airbnb.. I thought we would have to fend for self but they made our time there even that much more special since we almost felt as we were staying at a resort. My friends and I have already said we want to make it an annual trip to PV and plan on staying at Casa La Bomba. The one thing that I would criticize is the water, the water would go off at different times of the day for no apparent reason. It always seemed to be when I was ready to take a shower or in the shower. I would just have to wait maybe 15 - 20 minutes and try again. That was frustrating because you just didn't know when it would happen. Also, I believe because of all of the rain they had there was slight moldy smell in some areas of the house. I would still give Casa La Bomba an excellent rating even with the water issues. There were so many other positive things I could say about it so those things really weren't that big of a deal. I would definitely recommend staying here and I plan on doing it again soon!

Casa de la Bomba was just as we hoped! The home was amazing. It was in a perfect location-we were able to walk to most places. Airport pick up was just as arranged. Every morning we were greeted with fresh squeezed juice, coffee and a wonderful breakfast. The home was clean. The pool was wonderful. While the living space does not have air conditioning, the doors open to allow a cross breeze that keeps the space cool. All of the bedrooms are air conditioned so our nights were comfortable-even in the end of July humidity. The home is large. Each bedroom is on its on level so everyone has privacy. The beds were comfortable. The towels fresh and fluffy. Our stay was wonderful-We definitely hope to return!

Perched on a historical and stunningly visual location, Casa La Bomba has everything you need to experience Puerto Vallarta from a different perspective but with all the amenities of home. Four suites strategically located to minimize interactions with the other occupants but with communal areas that invite relaxation and conversation. Don't be afraid to ask for the unusual as Tomás and his staff will try their best to accommodate your needs. Great massages by Rodrigo. We did encounter an unexpected jewel in Vicky who was at the house every morning preparing a delicious breakfast based on the guests tastes and dietary restrictions and was also able to cook for us the best dinners we had while in PV. Muchas gracias Vicky, tú hiciste nuestra estadia especial e inolvidable, saludos! Keep in mind that La Bomba is an old house and therefore susceptible to unexpected maintenance, do not let it deter you from enjoying your stay. Do make arrangements with Tomás for a tour of the city and private Tequila tasting. Have dinner at Cafe de Artise, La Palapa or Trio. Set up happy hour on the balcony of the master bedroom and enjoy the sunset. Walk as much as you can, it is the best way to get to know the area and the wonderful people of Jalisco. ¡Salud!

I celebrated my 50th bday in PV with 10of my closest friends. As you may imagine the logistics could have been overwhelming. Thankfully Tomas was a true professional. His airport pickup and drop offa helped us immensely. He was also very knowledgeable about PV and activities. I especially enjoyed out ATV and yacht outings. We celebrated my bday dinner at Cafe d’artistes. Magnificent. Vicky made us delicious breakfastses every day and always had a hot coffee and fresh fruits waiting for us. She is a true gem and always had a smile and kept the home clean and hotel level ready!! The home itself is superb. Beautiful infinity pool and main living room were our hangout spots The large home actually felt like a mansion as when we retired to our rooms there was ample privacy. I had the penthouse master room which in and of itself could have been a home. Balcony with ocean views. Large bathroom with 2 shower heads and beautiful hot tub. Large space. In fact I had 2 professional masseurs during my stay. AC in every sleeping area. The main living room had fans and cooled off for evenings. All in all a beautiful experience. Highly recommend to discriminating guests

It's really hard to know how to start expressing how much we enjoy this beautiful property and the amazing staff. From the moment you walk through the front door, you just feel like the whole world has been lifted from your shoulders and you've been transported to the most perfect, peaceful haven. But, the structure and surroundings is only part of the experience. The staff, led by Tomas, are so friendly, so professional, so on top of their jobs that you never have to worry about anything. When you book, make absolutely certain to ask for Claudia to cook at least Breakfast and Lunch. We are foodies, and she did not disappoint one single bite. From the presentation to the taste, spot on! With all that said, you know by now that we highly recommend Casa la Bomba. This is our 2nd July 4th to spend there and we can't wait until next year.

Casa La Bomba is the best AIRBNB we have ever stayed at. Tomas and his staff make it a truly unforgettable experience. His knowledge of PV and links to whatever you might need is amazing. He was never too far away for anything we needed. We fell in love in Casa La Bomba the first time we saw it. We knew it would be perfect for our small wedding. Tomas as his staff were instrumental in making it go off perfectly. We filled all the rooms with our family. They were equally cared for. The home has great amenities including infinity pool, masseuse everyday for free 10 minute massages (seemed like longer), wonderful staff including Claudia and Vickie who made amazing breakfasts for the whole family for a nominal additional charge, perfect location and home base above Zona Romantica and it's restaurants, bars and street food. Given its many rooms, it's perfect for a family get together or group trip. Everyone can be together, have their own space and take a dip in pool anytime you want. Our family loved the home as well. Already talking about our next trip in a year to PV and staying there. Definitely make this your home in PV. You too will fall in love with Casa La Bomba. Thanks again Tomas

Casa de la Bomba is a gorgeous property in a lovely part of town. The staff are very friendly and easy to work with. The casa is built on the side of a mountain so be prepared for a bunch of stairs. The pool area is lovely and central in the home so a great place for gathering. Having the option to open the doors or turn on the air conditioning ensured all our guests were comfortable. Thank you Tomas and Claudia!

Casa La Bomba was the bomb. Tomas and Claudia were fantastic and did everything to make our trip perfect. The house is truly stunning and the pictures don't do it justice. Staying in Gringo Gulch was a great way to experience the old Puerto Vallarta too - it's so walkable to all the restaurants, shops, and nightlife. I'll definitely stay here again.

Casa La Bomba was absolutely amazing! From the moment of our arrival, to the second of our departure, Tomas made sure that all our needs were met. The house was incredible - beautifully appointed, comfortable, and perfect to relax in. The location was perfect! We could walk everywhere we needed to go - the beach, the market, restaurants, the plaza, and on and on. The house was centrally located but also secluded enough that when we wanted to get away from it all, Casa La Bomba provided us with our own little oasis. Tomas helped us with local tips and excursion arrangements, and would then check in with us to make sure everything was going smoothly. His attention to detail was superb. Claudia made us some pretty wonderful breakfasts and an absolutely delectable dinner! We had an amazing time there and will definitely stay there again! Thank you Tomas and Claudia!

Casa La Bomba was everthing and then some. The Pictures or the reviews does this place no justice. Tomas and Claudia will make you feel like you are home. Every bedroom is on its own level with a sitting room. There is a river that runs under the house that creates the most relaxing environment. The pool is always the perfect temperature, you can walk to the boardwalk, beach just about any where. Tomas is always available to get you a cab, reservation just about anything you need. Tomas is a well respected business man and it shows, he is now Uncle Tomas and Casa La Bomba is home.

Casa la Bomba was amazing! I was here with 6 other girls on a bachelorette trip; the house and our hosts (Tomas and family) exceeded our expectations. Tomas was a great communicator before and during our stay here. I was able to set up chef breakfasts for multiple mornings, cab rides to dinners, and massages at the house. His son picked us up from the airport and as soon as we arrived at the house, there were cocktails and appetizers (delicious quesadillas) ready for us. The house is a 5 minute walk to some local shops and markets, and a 10 minute walk to the beach/downtown. Claudia's cooking was delicious, the pool was phenomenal, and the view was nothing short of beautiful (especially at sunset- head up to the balcony of the master bedroom and you will be in awe). The 7 of us spent an unforgettable weekend at Casa La Bomba

Well, I now see what all the hype over this place was. The house could not be more perfect. I mean really really amazing. Kinda hard to describe. In the heart of everything but private, safe secure. Every room you could yell if u wanted, and no other guests could hear you. Like 4 separate wings of the house. Tomas, was simply incredible. Helped on everything we needed. Was deciding on staying here or the beach, decided here and glad we did. This will be the place we stay from now on here.

Casa la Bomba is even more beautiful in person. Once you walk thru the door, it's paradise. Their were 6 of us for the July 4 holiday. We could not have asked for a more perfect stay. Claudia, Luis and Tomas were amazing hosts.

We had so much fun at Casa La Bomba! Tomas was extremely helpful throughout the trip. He arranged for pick up at the airport, a few excursions, and also helped us pick out a birthday pinata and cake for our friend. Claudia is the best. She cooked breakfast every day and some dinners for us, and her cooking is delicious! We were spoiled the whole week. The views are amazing, and the house is spacious. The pool is awesome. Overall, after staying in Casa La Bomba, we would not think of staying anywhere else while in Puerto Vallarta!

This was our second time staying at Casa La Bomba, and just like the first, our experience was incredible. Tomas is a great house manager. He's friendly and approachable and makes himself available for anything you need. Again, we were impressed with Claudia's cooking. She surprised us with some new tasty eats this trip. She works incredibly hard to make sure the house is clean and your meals are ready when you want them. We'll be back next year!

How would one describe paradise? Casa de la Bomba! Our group of 7 friends all agreed there could not possibly be a better place to stay in Puerto Vallarta. The location is perfect - a short walk across the bridge to Isla Cuale and the market stalls and restaurants there (River Cafe is great for breakfast, and Le Bistro is perfect for post-dinner dessert and drinks). The Malecon is an easy 10 minute stroll, and every fine restaurant in town is within a 10-15 minute leisurely stroll. Very easy access to Old Town and the Romantic Zone, with a gentle and short uphill climb back to the house. (Wear good shoes, though, as the charming PV cobblestones are rough and uneven.) Tomas was the ultimate host, arranging airport pickup for our group and their various arrival times. Tomas also arranged a private sightseeing tour for our group - oh what fun we had! Claudia arrived at the house every morning (except Sunday) at 9AM to make fresh squeezed orange juice and fresh fruit. We didn't take advantage of her cooking meals for us but I think we will do so when we return next year. Our group spent a lot of time by the pool. It is not heated, so it's quite refreshing for cooling off on hot afternoons. The house is huge, with each bedroom on a different level, and the main living area on its own level as well. Because of this, and the construction of the house, it is VERY quiet - don't bother calling to someone in another room! It makes for very peaceful relaxing and sleeping - no street noise or loud parties to bother you. In addition to the sun terrace by the pool there is also a bar/media room/game room on that level and also an outdoor kitchen. Plenty of space! The main living level is huge with several sitting areas, a large dining table, large kitchen, and a beautiful outdoor terrace with that inviting daybed and plenty of seating. Did I mention the mountain views? Views from every room, including the bathrooms! And every bedroom has its own balcony/terrace. You could have as much or as little privacy as you desired. As in any AirBnB rental, it's the host that makes or breaks the experience. Tomas deserves 100 stars for his attention to detail, going above and beyond to ensure everyone's needs were met. He arranged transportation to/from the airport, suggested restaurants and made reservations for us, made sure we had the best tables, and ensured special treatment for anniversaries and birthdays being celebrated. He can arrange tours, massages, anything you could possibly think of. Claudia was a great hostess and made sure we were all treated like family. If you have a larger group there are several fold out couches and additional portable twin beds. Of if you need additional accommodations Tomas also manages a house 2 doors down. It doesn't get any better than Casa de la Bomba.

The house is even more amazing than it looks in the pictures. The house, coupled with Tomas -- probably the best host ever -- was the perfect mix for an epic weekend. On arrival, Tomas and the staff greeted us with guacamole and margaritas by the pool. Tomas was always available and very helpful. He is notably an honest man, and just wants you to enjoy your time in PVR. He helped us set up activities, transportation. We had home-made breakfast in the mornings - it was amazing.
