We had a really great stay at Casa Marina. The house is just as advertised—spacious, comfortable, and full of character. There was plenty of room for our family, and we especially enjoyed spending time by the pool and in the outdoor spaces. Glenn was a great host. He was easy to communicate with, quick to respond, and had lots of good recommendations. He genuinely wanted to make sure we had a good trip, and it showed. Maria was wonderful too. Coming back to a clean house each day and having laundry taken care of was such a nice touch and made the vacation even more relaxing. The location was also perfect for us—close to everything we wanted to do, but tucked away enough to feel quiet and private. We’d definitely stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting Playa del Carmen.

Truly a once in a lifetime experience staying at this house. It is very rare that you will find houses with so much attention to detail and such impressive architecture. Everything from the door ways to the tile is extremely impressive, on top of that Glenn is absolutely amazing. Made sure to personally great us at check in time and made sure we knew our way around the house and the surrounding area. He is a true local when it comes to his experience and knowledge of the area. I can say for sure that me and my family has an amazing time and look forward to booking with Glenn again. My only advice would be to try to rent a small car or scooter to easily navigate to and from town. The house is located about a 15 minute walk from the main strip (5th ave) it is perfect in the sense that you have a lot of privacy and are away from all of the noise but on a hot day it can be a little bit of a walk going back and forth.

Glenn was fantastic! So helpful and attentive to our needs. Maria is also excellent, made quick work of cleaning and doing laundry for our group of 7. Will be contacting Glenn again soon for another stay!

Glenn went above and beyond as a host. He was extremely communicative and offered many additional amenities. He and his driver, Miles, provided transportation to and from the airport for us as well as to/from additional excursions we planned during the week. This was a huge help for us as we didn't need to rely on taxi's for our party of six. He recommended some lovely restaurants and activities in the area that were spot-on. Maria provided daily cleaning services as well as laundry for us. She is a wonderfully warm and kind person and we really appreciated all she did to make sure we were comfortable. There was nothing Glenn didn't do to try and make our stay as amazing as possible. He treated us like family!

Our stay was great and very relaxing. The house was clean and welcoming. We stayed with our 2 teenage children, who really enjoyed the space and the pool. We rented a car and were able to get in and out easily. Glenn was a fantastic host, always responsive and helpful. Maria did a great job with the housekeeping - which was an added touch.

Checking into Casa Marina felt like arriving at your favorite uncle's house, and Glenn is absolutely that uncle. I showed up frantic, trying to pull off a surprise 40th birthday for my husband with curveballs flying all day. Glenn didn't miss a beat. He let me check in early, helped me set up, got the space sorted, and personally drove me into town to meet my group. The casa is a mini resort. Layered terraces, a rooftop tiki hut, swim-up bar, stunning outdoor spaces, powerful AC, and a perfect layout for a group. Every corner is curated, giving it the kind of character you can't manufacture, and unlimited drinking water throughout was a thoughtful touch. We booked the private chef dinner and wow, don't skip it. Chef Kim and Janeth hosted incredible meals. Definitely recommend booking bikes through Playa Bike Rentals ahead of your stay. Drop-off and pickup at the casa, totally seamless. Thank you Glenn and the Casa Marina team, you made a milestone birthday completely unforgettable.

Casa Marina and Glenn were great! From the beginning everyone felt comfortable and in good hands. The house was spacious and each room has its own air conditioner. Amazing indoor / outdoor living spaces and views. Thick walls for privacy and well appointed. We had a great time and Glenn went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and well taken care of. Everyone in our group enjoyed our stay. Close to 5th Ave for nightlife and restaurants. We walked a few times, and Glenn provided transportation and great recommendations a few times as well. 5 star host in a 5 star location. We will be back. Thanks for everything!

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb in Mexico! The space was beautiful, clean, and exactly as pictured—if not better. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing trip, and the attention to detail really stood out. The host and staff were immediately available when needed. The location was perfect, whether for exploring nearby attractions or just enjoying some downtime. The host was incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful with local tips that made our experience even more special. We will consider Glenn a friend moving forward. Overall, this stay exceeded our expectations. We would absolutely come back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Our whole family loved staying at Glenn’s place. The house has so much character, it truly felt like a genuine Airbnb experience, staying in a home that reflects someone’s life. You can see the love, memories, and personality throughout. Meeting Glenn was also a highlight, a lovely host who is happy to help with trip logistics. The kids especially loved the cave pool, which made the stay even more special. We had a wonderful time and honestly wished we could have stayed longer.

Lovely place, great friendly host. Only downside is we didn't get to stay longer. Would definitely come back!

If I could give it ten stars I would. Glenn is amazing, definitely the best host we’ve ever worked with. He goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is great. He gives great recommendations that are not tourist traps, the restaurant he recommended to us was probably the best tacos we’ve ever had! Maria is awesome at her job as well. We hired Chef Kim for a full day of services and the only regret I have is not listening to the other reviews and planning more days with him. He took the stress out of everything and the food was phenomenal! Hands down a vacation my family will remember for the rest of their lives. If you’re on the fence with this one- BOOK IT!
