Very nice Airbnb. With a beautiful garden. On the edge of the groups of houses, you don't notice other people much. The road pretty much ends at this Airbnb, so there's no traffic noise. In terms of the furnishings / nothing more and nothing less. Everything you need. My personal highlight is the animals in the garden. Sloths / agoutis / armadillos / frogs / turtles / butterflies. The whole party set. Thank you so much for letting us spend part of our journey there.

It's an amazing place. The location was within walking distance of the grocery store, restaurant, and beach. It was quiet and peaceful. A lot of wildlife to see, even just sitting on the porch and having coffee in the morning. Tamara was an awesome host. We would stay there again when we come back to Puerto Viejo.

We had an amazing time staying at this apartment. The location was fantastic: close to everything we wanted to explore, yet peaceful and quiet at night. The host was responsive and made check-in and check-out incredibly smooth. We'd absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting Costa Rica, and we'd love to come back ourselves someday. The host is responsive, smiling and welcoming. The accommodation is clean and nice. The sounds of nature make the experience authentic and unforgettable. In addition, it is possible to observe several animals from the courtyard if you are even slightly lucky. We would highly recommend. Pura vida 🙂🎉

Excellent accommodation to share with a partner or family, well-equipped and complete kitchen, very friendly hosts, and the location is also really very close to everything 🙌🏻 We were unlucky that it was raining, but after that I plan to come back when the weather is better.

Tamara and Shaquille were super friendly and welcoming. The bungalow was very nice (especially the bathroom) and the AC and WiFi were truly a luxury. The bungalow’s location feels very secluded and immersed in nature, yet is conveniently located close to many beautiful beaches and great restaurants. I would highly recommend staying here if you have the opportunity.

Our stay at Tamara and Shaquille’s was absolutely lovely. The property was beautiful, private and peaceful which was great to come back to after a long day of exploring. The outdoor kitchen/dining space was really nice as well, and was stocked with all utensils and cookware needed. Being able to watch the wildlife roam while sitting in the hammock was was my favorite part. Looking forward to staying here again!

Stayed here for a few days at the beginning of my partner’s 30th birthday trip to CR and it was a wonderful place! Felt secluded surrounded by nature, safe and easy to get to, and the Puerto Viejo area was a great area to spend time and get the Caribbean feel of the country. Tamara gave me a bunch of great restaurant recommendations which we used pretty much all of. There was even a little kitty that we kept seeing around the place that let us pet her! Overall a positive experience.

Here’s a smoother, more polished version of your review: Our stay at this Airbnb was exceptional. The bungalow was not only very comfortable but also beautifully connected to nature, making it a truly relaxing experience. Tamara and her family were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The location was perfect—there’s a supermarket within walking distance, along with great spots for brunch and dining. Cocles was, in our opinion, the most beautiful part of Puerto Viejo, offering a great balance of tranquility and nearby nightlife. This was our first time visiting Puerto Viejo, and without a doubt, if we return, we would love to stay here again. If you want, I can  make it sound more casual,  more enthusiastic, or  shorter depending on the vibe you’re going for.

Loved the little cabina. It was a great design, wonderful quiet location, perfect to get to town & the beaches. We wished we’d have booked an extra day!

We loved staying here. What a beautiful designed apartment - easily one of the best we have stayed in, if not the best. It's got everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the hosts are there should you need them - lovely people. The garden, in which the apartment is set is a delight (lots of wildlife enjoying the diverse planting). Highly recommended.
