My friend and I had a wonderful stay at Playa's place in The Elements. The view is amazing and the big deck and living spaces were all fabulous for our needs. The kitchen is well stocked and the beds were comfortable. The place was spotless. It was easy to walk to 5th Avenue but nice to be a little north of all the noise and touristy places.

You will not go wrong picking this property for your vacation, beautiful view, private beach very clean. There are some nice restaurants about four or five blocks on 38th that were very convenient. The beach has its own bar for resort guests with service from 1 to 7pm. Reasonable drink prices too. Book it!

Stop looking and just book it!! This place is super stylish, spacious, comfortable and the view is phenomenal! The amenities on the property are first class. You really feel spoiled here!

Unit was as described.

Awesome place to stay! The owner was very attentive and made sure to accommodate our every need right from the start. The place is located in a great spot right on the beach with amazing views! The famous Quinta Avenida is just a few blocks away for shopping and entertainment! The rooms are spacious and bathrooms with showers are big. Beautiful living space and a big patio to watch the sunrise while you enjoy some coffee. I highly recommend this place when visiting Playa. Will definitely be back and stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay! The place is amazing and absolutely loved the view. The host was very attentive. Checked on us often (thru whatsapp) making sure everything was up to par. Even giving us a goodie bag of drinks when we got there. I was skeptical about the AC situation based on 1 persons review and the fact I've never heard about this type of energy efficient AC unit before, but they must have been a poor communicator because it works exactly how they say it does and if it doesn't get cool enough for you then you simply let the host know to turn it lower, its controled remotely and they change it with in minutes. There is also and extra floor fan you can use but the ceiling fans were enough. The AC worked great, the place stayed cool. The master bed was firmer than I'm used to but I normally sleep on a 4inch memory foam topper so...my hips are just sensitive lol. My husband slept great. The only thing that could have made our stay better is if there was no seaweed at the beach. But that's normal around this time. Some days there was little to no seaweed (obviously out of the host hands) . Lastly, the patio furniture was perfect to layout on after 3pm when the sun no longer reached the sun chairs at the pool (blocked by buildings across the pool). We recommend this place 100 times over. We will definitely be back!

A ok with a great swimming pool

This is a great choice if you want a private beach, private pool, a safe location and a beautiful view - and that’s exactly what we wanted. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly, and other guests were nice when we chose to interact. Beds were REALLY comfortable, great water pressure in the shower, and best of all a wonderful outdoor deck to enjoy the view every day! Great for families and kids also. Very happy.

TOP NOTCH Beachfront property with an amazing pool and a terrific VIEW! we could enjoy the view of the pool and ocean and beachclub from the condo! Also we checked around and this is the only place with a private beachclub included! You can also get food and drinks delivered there. The pool is great! The nicest resort pool that we have seen- and because it is on the ground level- not on roof like many others. Beds were great. Condo very stylish and was equipped. Close restaurants in proximity were very good. Just a few blocks from 5th ave- walking there to see the shops was very easy. Owner/ host was always in communication and answered questions and fast. Great stay! We will definitely come back here- becasue we have not found another place like it in PLaya Del Carmen. Worth every penny- the best choice for Airbnb!

Wow. Such a great apartment with everything you need ! It rained while we were there -but the best part is that we could still enjoy the beautiful ocean view and see it all from the high condo view- from the gigantic patio terrace AND the large living area- very comfortable! This property is amazing and the staff is amazing. They helped us carry things and even delivered fresh water and ice!! We had the greatest experience ever! Thank you !

This was one of the best AirBnB experiences we’ve had. From location, to accommodations, to the gorgeous view from the balcony, to plentiful amenities, to perfect communication, quick responses, recommendations, help making arrangements - truly flawless stay.

We're so happy that we extended our stay for another week. My kids didn't want to return! We made friends with the neighbors that I'm sure will be lasting! The condo is super spacious and comfortable, perfect for a family! All the staff are super attentive and the location is unbeatable! A 7-Eleven is a few steps from the entrance of the complex. We rented a car but we didn't use it because everything is close! I was about to extend our stay another week but the commitments prevented me from doing so. Thank you so much! We'll be back!

This is the place to select... Wow! 1. First on the Elements condos. POOL I love a great pool even more than a great beach and that was a key feature I looked for. If you enjoy a great pool day -- or all your days -- the Elements' pool will not disappoint... even to gaze down upon from your condo. FACILITIES The entire facilities are well kept up. White/cream marble, open spaces, lawn, etc. GYM I worked out in their gym every day we were there. AC, free weights, cardio machines. BEACH The beach at the Elements is awesome. It has fine white sand, lounge chairs, umbrellas, drink service. Even a sand volleyball court if you are so inclined. If you've read about the seaweed issue it certainly is something to research a bit. During the entire stay we didn't have the bad smell until the last day and it was only as we walked right by the water. There was a big truck that then came up the beach -- it looked like a public service -- picking up the excess seaweed (like the snowplows we have in Colorado). And then it wasn't perfect but totally fine. There is a very small rarely used street between the pool/condos and beach, with showers to rinse off your feet and such. The views from the Elements, I think just about every unit, show off the ocean (but more on that with the unit). LOCATION The location is, IMO, perfect. I read in reviews of other places either that they were noisy, right in the middle of the big party, or you have to cab in to all the restaurants/action. But at the Elements there are several great restaurants on this North end on your walk to 5th Ave. Interesting great food and spectacular ambiance with outdoor paradises of water features, bridges, tropical vegetation... even the pathways on some parts along the way are beautifully landscaped with stone, water features, and lush vegetation. I think we only took a cab to or from a restaurant on 5th once because walking isn't long and is interesting. CLEAN WATER Think about water when you select any accommodations in Mexico. Be sure to ask for those dispensers with big jugs so you can keep yourself hydrated and wash your produce with clean water and anti-bacterial drops you can get in any big grocery store. I don't know why any place wouldn't provide an easy way to get plenty of clean water because it is a known issue and not too hard to solve. I've had some places with chilled water and paid service to replace to the big jug. Very nice. Here we didn't quite have that but the main thing is to have some way to get those big jugs delivered. At the Elements it was about $3 for a huge jug delivered and very easy to fill a big pitcher provided and put in the fridge and use for making ice cubes. 2. The Unit Now the unit... the pictures are great, but it is even better in person. That balcony is huge and, well, PERFECTION. The views are inspiring. I'm more of a mountain person than a beach person, but this place makes me a beach person. I've always been extremely driven to make my company a big success but my husband and I now have a tangible goal for our financial independence and retirement. The furnishings are modern and you will have everything you need. 3. The Host There were a couple issues but the owner/host was very responsive. She was extremely motivated to make our stay a 5 star experience and did everything in her power to resolve any issues we had. She offered to have us moved if we wanted but nothing was such a hindrance that we would give up the place. The issues aren't worth mentioning because I'm positive she will have them 100% resolved before the next guests arrive. My husband and I stayed to celebrate our 10th anniversary and she even had a bottle of champagne for us.

This place was incredible. The place was updated and gorgeous, the view was amazing (although a little blocked by trees) it was gorgeous. The place was big and could easily fit 6 or 7 people. We had access to all kitchen appliances, there was a washer and dryer so we could use that if needed. The WiFi was decent, there is WiFi for each difference bedroom and one for the front room, so that was helpful. You are on the quieter side of the beach so you do get some peace and quiet because fifth can be pretty loud but you are only a 5 minute walk away from the strip. The condo is gorgeous, super clean and our host was really responsive. The only problems we had were the water pressure and water heat, we learned if we showered at the same time then the showers would be kinda cold but we told our host and they sent someone to fix it and the problem was fixed. Besides that the view was so nice and the infinity pool was nice and warm and the staff was super helpful. Thank you for making our trip wonderful.

Wow- Unbelievable View and beautiful condo! This place is a dream. It is the most beautiful place here. We have stayed in others here. The owner is very friendly and the neighbors are great too. She communicated very fast when we had questions. Very nice and new items in the condo. Very clean. The beach and pool are great and nice walk to stores and groceries. We always ate out at restaurants. Family loved the gym. Very nice staff also they are helpful. People here in Playa del Carmen are very nice. Great value for this condo. Will stay again

A beautiful, spacious suite in a perfect location for a beach vacation (Perfect for couples and families but not if you came to party). Amazing balcony with a great view, pool, and private beach club. have the bar tender make cocktails or grab your own from the 7-11 across the street. Walking distance to touristy 5th ave scene but also some great local restaurants in the currently being gentrified Zazil Ha neighbourhood. Very secure and safe. Dive boats and fishing boats leave from directly in front (would be a good spot for beginner divers to learn). If you're a runner there's easy access to a 9k morning loop (just go south on 5th) as well as the free public track for speed work. We would absolutely stay here again. If you are looking for a place to stay to hit the Playa party scene then you want to be closer to the ferry terminal (like 5th ave and 2nd area).

We just returned from a fabulous long weekend in Playa del Carmen. Julz's condo is beautiful. The photos honestly don't do it justice. There are expansive water views throughout the living/dining area as well as the balcony, which faces the ocean and overlooks the gorgeous pool. The condo is very spacious. It's a fully furnished 2 bedroom/2 bath with everything you could possibly need including a fully stocked kitchen, a BBQ, plenty of towels and storage space. The location of the condo is second to none in PDC. It seems to be one of the only condos that sits directly on the beach, yet it is an easy walk to all the restaurants and shops along 5th Ave. The pool was probably my favorite part of the property. We loved the lounge chairs that sit on the shallow side of the pool and we were in the hot tub every day. The pool is also long enough to swim laps. I didn't go to the on-site fitness center, but my husband and daughter did and they said it had everything they needed. At the beach, you'll have access to lounge chairs and umbrellas at no additional cost which is great. There's a nice mix of people on site as well - everyone from American/Canadian retirees to young European families. The last thing I want to say is what a wonderful host Julz is. She made herself available non-stop before, during and after our stay. This was our first time to Mexico and we had many questions about transportation, water safety, where to eat, etc. She answered everything and gave really great advice. Don't hesitate to stay here. You'll love it!

Apartment very well located and with fantastic views of the pool and the beach with palm trees; idyllic view. Spacious rooms and quality finishes. Easy and close communication. Everything was great. We wouldn't shuffle in repeating again.

Wow! Very nice place!!! Amazed at the view and the beautiful apartment and beautiful pool and beach. The owner had arranged everything so that it was very pleasant at the Recepcion. The best part- no keys, my own combination for the door. apartment is so beautiful! The view is unbelievable! I think it must be new owners and there were reviews yet. My family loved the apartment. And owner is very nice and communicates very easily and fast. Will stay again!! Also, this is great area of town. Very quiet but close to good stores and restaurants.
